Sitting in the middle of his office while reviewing the contract that he's been revising for days, he sighed while massaging his temples his phone rang, after looking at the caller id he immediately answered the phone "If you are asking if I can meet a girl that you've arranged or if you are asking to raise your bank limit, both answer is no"

Elyse rolled her eyes, "Yun ba lang lagi itinatanong ko sayo?"

Hearing her irritated voice, a small smile escape on his lips, "Do you want me to be brutally honest or just honest?"

"Ang honest mo naman palang tao!" she exclaimed "Honest nga pero di naman makaamin" she murmured but Adam was able to hear it

Clearing his throat "Ano ang kailangan mo?"

"I need you," Elyse said "Char yuck" she immediately said

"Elyse" he threatened

"Char lang eh pero really I need you, I mean your superpowers"

A line formed between his eyebrows "Ano na namang pinagsasabi mo?"

Hearing her brother's annoyed tone, she chuckled "I mean, 'di ba ikaw ang tagasagip ng mga relationships" she laughs "Baka naman masasagip mo pa ang relationship nina Aliyah" she continued

"So, they broke-up again?"

"Sayang-saya ka na nyan?" Elyse said while rolling her eyes

"Don't worry they'll be back to each other's arms in a few days" he sighed as he looked at the view in his office.

"I don't think so, Aliyah was the one who called it off, she was determined." Elyse sighed "Pero sya naman yung matamlay. My golly and Gio was doing fine" kwento nito

"Anong pinatutunguhan ng usapan na ito Elyse? I have many things to do if you have nothing to say, patayin mo na ang tawag" he said in a calm but endearing tone

"Inuupdate na nga kita kahit di ka nagtatanong eh, nagmamagandang loob na nga eh" Elyse pouted "You are really the best brother in the world" she sarcastically said and hangs up

Adam just look at the scenery outside of his office, looking at the watch he sighed, "I guess that I shouldn't have worn it today"

Aliyah and Elyse were taking a walk going to their house, the house that they bought after so many years of begging their parents to let them have a house where they can both stay and bond sometimes.

"I thought Gio was doing fine when you broke up, but he is now clinging with you asking for a chance?" she said in disbelief "Buti na lang talaga wala sya ngayon" sabi ni Elyse habang naglalakad sila

Aliyah just shrugs "I am in the same page as you," she said, she thought he was fine when they broke up, she was devastated that time while he is laughing with his teammates during his practice.

"Di ko lang magets na how come you are so devastated when you are the one who called it off?" she asked "Not that I was complaining" she immediately added

Aliyah stopped her tracks and look at the leaves falling "I was forced to broke-up with him"

"What? Who? When? Why? How?" sunod-sunod na tanong ni Elyse looking at her best friend with a wide eye

Aliyah just smiled at her best friend "You don't need to know; it was all in the past" as she continues to walk

Elyse clings on her arms "You will not get back together?" she asked

"No. Here" she handed her a bracelet "It's a promise"

Elyse excitedly took the bracelet in Aliyah's hand "This is the bracelet I've been wanting to order!" she squealed "Promise? Even, na maya't maya siya nandyan? Asking you to get back to each other's arms?"

"Promise. We will not get back together hanggang nasa tabi kita" she ensures as she looked at the traffic light, "It's still red" pigil niya kay Elyse na tatawid na sana

"Wala namang nadaan ditong sasakyan eh!" She complained "Nagsasayang lang tayo ng oras" Elyse said but Aliyah hold on her wrist firmly, "No"

When the light turns green, she smiled at her "Hindi naman masamang maghintay. Look" as she drags her to cross the street.

Aliyah opened her eyes as she is now miles away from the lifeless body of her best friend Elyse, a minute ago they were crossing the street when a car speeding up came to them.

Elyse knew what will happen next and pushed her best friend away taking all the impact of the speeding car, crash into her frail body. Now lying on the cold road, looking at the bracelet in her hands 'I guess magkakabalikan pa kayo. Because now I'll be gone' she thought "I just want to be by your side, forever Ali" she mumbled as she smiled at the direction of her best friend walking towards her with disbelief in her eyes.

Aliyah hoped that she was only imagining a gruesome scene before her. There are seems so much blood surrounding Elyse's body on the cold road, she coughed as she mutters "No" her eyes went blurred as her tears start to form. She immediately dialed the emergency number as she is looking for the plate number of the car that was now speeding away from them, her tears that she is holding for a moment start to fall, her knees wavers all she could do was kneel beside of her best friend's body, "We need an ambulance right now" she muttered on her phone as she tries to compose herself, she successfully gave the information they need except on the car's plate number.

"The plate number" she mutters as her tired body fall next to Elyse's lifeless body, 'was my boyfriend's' she continued it on her thought before getting unconscious.

Aliyah was stopped on her trail of thoughts when she felt a raindrop in her hands, holding Adam's watch she looked at the road as she mumbled "I'm back Elyse"

Dragging her luggage inside the house, she looks around "It is still the same" she said as she touches the sofa and sees that there is no dust in it. "Guess that my parents still managing this house" she sighed and then move upstairs.
