" President Gu Yan, are you sure this is really worth the trip?" asked a young dark-haired woman.

"Of course, the Ashikaga clan is one of the founding families of glory city. Stories say that they were even before the other founding families arrived. They were a clan of great fighters who had no need for demon spirits. They have slowly been isolating themselves and have fired our alchemists without cause and terminated our trade agreement. This is a matter that must be discussed in person, Yang Xin." Gu Yan replied and Yang Xin just stared out the carriage.

The two of them were made to wait upon their arrival. Until Kai had appeared with Satoshi.

Yang Xin and Gu Yan bowed to pay their respects. Satoshi and Kai responded with bows of their own.

"To what do we owe the pleasure, President Gu Yan?" asked Satoshi

"A renegotiation of the trade deal and an explanation for the termination of my subordinates."

Kai sighed and said " We terminated them because we no longer need them. Lastly, there will be no renegotiation until we're ready. You knew this day would come. The herbs we grow will now be used to support the clansmen that grew them. In time we can do business again and you have my word that it will be worth your while."

The President of the Alchemist Association frowned as he heard the boy speak. "And who is capable of replacing your quality and quantity yearly?"

"I don't know about quality, but the Heavenly Marks can live up to it. They have as much land as we do. They just need a reason to cultivate it."

The President knew Kai's words were right. But the last thing the President wanted, was to explain how the Ashikaga became even more isolated to Lord Ye Mo upon his return. But there was very little he could actually do. Kai decided to purchase high-quality refining equipment to appease them and sent the alchemist association on their way.

By the end of the year, the alchemist association had already established a deal with Heavenly Marks family. And the Ashikaga were now completely isolated. This made many of the clans nervous but there was very little they could do about it. And like that, they became known as the recluse clan. Their doors stayed closed for 4 years after that.

In a great courtyard, the Ashikaga clan gathered. But from first glance, they would appear unrecognizable. Everyone was built like warriors thanks to Kai's brutal training. And the power of their combined cultivation made them unmatched. In the middle of the courtyard was a statute of two Titan Progenitors.

Standing in front of the statue was a young man that looked to be 16/17 years of age. He had long white hair, golden eyes, and flawless olive-brown skin. Even though he was dressed in fine clothing. It did nothing to hide his overbearing physique.

Next to the young man was a young woman with a curvaceous and voluptuous body. Her ass is as plump as her busting breast. Her brilliant golden eyes shined and her full divine lips attracted the gaze of men from all over. These two were Kai and Mikoto. They were being sent to the Holy Orchid Institute to start there their first year. It was a duty for the noble clans to send their heirs to the Holy Orchid Institute as a way of showing goodwill and maintaining alliances. The clan had been sealed long enough.

The clan had gathered to say the farewells. And hear Kai's parting words.

"Over the last 4 years. This clan as a whole has broken through to the legend rank. Many of you are not far behind as Black-gold and gold fighters. That is an amazing achievement. It makes me proud to have the name, Ashikaga. But now Mikoto and I have to go fulfill our duty. Though I'm sure they'll send us away for being stronger than the teachers. But all of Glory City will know our might. So train hard and continue to cultivate. Stay ready to take our place at the top, but stay vigilant against the people that will come to take what's ours."

With the help of the pills and elixirs translated from both higher realm archives and the cultivation supporting material taken from the ancient Orchid Ruins, Cultivation in the clan was no longer an issue.

Kai and Mikoto were now Legend rank demon spiritualist, driving hard to the rank of a demigod like most of their clansmen. Kai wasn't shocked by this in the slightest. In the higher realms, even commoners could breakthrough to the legend rank.

Though Demigod was a hard rank to achieve. Each rank consisted of five stars. Though in the tiny world, due to the cultivation restrictions, achieving stars as a legend rank cultivator was extremely difficult.

Achieving the fifth star in the legend rank made one a demigod. Though, Kai had long discovered a way to surpass demigod that he hadn't shared with the rest of his clan yet.

Mikoto and Kai approached the Holy Orchid Institute as students from all over Glory City flocked to take the entrance exam. Following the flow of the crowd, they eventually arrived at the Institute's training ground. There, everyone crowded the stage and waited for the yearly examination to begin.

After a short time, a man with long white hair appeared. He wore humble grey robes and a siren expression. Next to him was a younger man with dark black hair in blue robes.

"Welcome to the Yearly Examination. I'm Ye Sheng your Vice-Principal. To my left is your principle Xiao Yun"

"Today we will be testing your strength and soul force" Said Ye Sheng " The results of this test will determine your class placement. Listen carefully for your name."

One by one, the names of nobles and commoners were called to step forth. They gave their best strike to the strength meter and their soul force was measured to determine their rank. Though, there were quite a few to gain entry into the Genius class. It was to be expected as they were all from noble clans except for a few.

"How should we place?" Mikoto asked in a hushed tone.

"The soul force test only grade silver and below," Kai replied

"Ashikaga Mikoto!" Ye Sheng called out and the people began to whisper amongst themselves. Many of the students were seeing an Ashikaga clansman for the first time in their lives. Their olive-brown skin and vibrant golden eyes were traits that they had never seen before.

Mikoto took her place on the stage. She was given direction by Ye Sheng, then she took her stance before The Strength Test Stone -- a huge stone that emitted a metallic luster from it. Fighters can punch the Strength Test Stone with their full strength. The Strength Test Stone will dent to a certain degree from the punch. Through the dent, they can tell one's strength.

Mikoto moved forward and her fist flew through the air with sheer power.

Bang! The moment she connected with strength meter caved in.

"I-Impossible" they gasped

"2nd-star Black-Gold, 210,000 strength!" Ye Sheng stuttered through the result.

It was simply too mind-blowing. 'Not even Lord Ye Mo was this monstrous at this age. And she's only twelve years of age' he thought

Kai frowned and Mikoto put on an apologetic look.

"Please step down, Miss Ashikaga. Your soul force will be tested personally by the principal after the exam."

Xiao Yun stared at the girl and decided to leave the test early to examine Mikoto's soul force. As the two walked to the exit of the training ground, Mikoto suddenly stopped and turned around to watch her husband. Kai took a low hung gar stance and delivered one strong punch that sent a shock wave that silenced the training grounds.

"Tyrannical…"

"This is Impossible.."

"3 -3-star Black-Gold, 330,000 strength!" Ye Sheng was utterly gobsmacked.

Mikoto playful stuck her tongue out. Kai just shrugged it off.

"3 stars?" Mikoto whispered as they walked to the principal's office.

"What? I am stronger than you." Kai replied.

"So you had to show me up on a fake test?"

"Exactly," he replied with a smirk.

In the principal's office, Kai and Mikoto were being tested by the Lords from the divine and snow wind family. The Lords were almost at a loss for words. Mikoto and Kai were 6 feet tall and looked like they could turn the institute to rubble.

"So this is why the Ashikaga family has kept themselves so isolated." Said Ye Xiu, the third elder of the snow wind family. "They've been nurturing Geniuses" he added

Kai chuckled 'you have no idea, young one' he thought.

"We wish to be known as The Sky Origin Divine Clan. It's the clan name of our ancestors, Ashikaga is the family name."

The Lords were a bit taken aback by the new clan name. It was just as tyrannical as 12-year-old Black-Gold fighters. Not to mention their physical appearances.

"Very well, But it was the order of lord Ye Mo that you two attend the institute. But I'm afraid there's nothing we could teach you here."

"I have other things to do while in the city. My clan needs certain provisions and I plan to break through the Legend rank within the next two years. I'm sure we can work something out for the benefit of Glory City and the Sky Origin Divine clan." Explained Kai.

The Lords now had small brain aneurysms after listening to Kai speak about breaking through the legend rank as if it wasn't thee hardest rank to achieve.

Ye Xiu then nodded for him to continue but it was Mikoto who spoke. " I wish to join the ranks of inscription masters and my husband will join the alchemist association. This way we don't waste our time in school. But we still have ties to Glory City."

Chen Wulin, a lord from the divine family stepped up "If I'm not mistaken it was your clan that delivered some of Glory Cities' strongest Inscriptions."

"That is correct, Lord Chen Wulin. But we wish to do more to support Glory City. It's why we came today." said Kai.

"I'm sure they will not disappoint. And if Lord Ye Mo was here, I'm sure he would not disagree. The real issue is the strength of the Sky Origin Divine Clan. With two more Black-Gold Fighters. Many would want the clan to be reinstated as a Major family."

The Divine family were always thinkers. Even the most harmless suggestions always had ulterior motives.

"My clan's status will stay as-is unless you want to make my grandfather the next City Lord."

The lords nearly choked on Kai's words but said nothing as Kai began to speak again, " We will do as my wife has said. And if there are any problems. Please tell Lord Ye Mo that he is always welcome at the Sky Origin Divine Clan to discuss the matter in more detail."

"Very well. But you two must pass the exams first. Afterward, you two may forgo the institute. I will speak to Lord Ye Mo, myself." said Ye Xiu.
