Taming the Hybrid

Amidst the rain, Erwin didn't let go of Hanom's gaze as he contemplated his choices.

It was strange that an Elder like him was in that situation. If it was the usual, he would be among the Elders, giving commands to the members of the Orschetta Clan, including the candidates. However, he didn't have that power.

Erwin became an elder in the Romanoff Clan after serving as its head for two whole years. It was all out of coincidence since the head he replaced died in the war. There were no candidates yet at that time, but he was recognized as one of the strongest along with the Romanoff Duke.

Be that as it may, the Romanoff Duke turned down the opportunity to be the head by virtue of the position they held within the Empire. That's how Erwin became the head of the Romanoff Clan over a decade ago.

With that being said, he was no doubt an Elder of the Romanoff Clan. His position was incontestable and the Romanoffs had no doubt about what he could do.
