Bocahr Settlement: The Journey (11)

"What are you talking about, Karveshe?" Zekhyr asked, his eyebrows slightly furrowed, "What punishment are you saying? Can't you see that she's already scared of them?"

Karveshe's mouth went agape upon hearing Zekhyr's light scolding. He immediately covered his mouth with his hand, retreating a few steps away from the man.

"Did you just… Master, are you concerned about that young one?"

"Karveshe, she's my daughter whom I've been searching for for years. Don't make me show such a bad side when we've only met. Anyway, don't talk about punishments in front of her. I think she knows her place well."

Thereafter, Zekhyr went out of the banquet hall with Zarya. It was only noon so the sun was still out. The man wanted the little girl to get some sunlight, even if it's for a short while.

Of course, Karveshe followed his master's tracks. It was his job to tend to every single of Zekhyr's needs, so it would be better if he was near the man all the time.
