Bocahr Settlement: The Journey (10)

Hearing the name of the clan that terrorized her entire family, Zarya couldn't help but shiver in fear. She hugged her knees and stared into the distance of the darkness.

She couldn't stop remembering the scene where Erina and Neverio were beheaded. She could still hear the cries of her closest friends, their desperation to escape their terrorizing moment. The promise with her mother, she kept it close to her heart as if it was the sole memory she had of the woman.

Zarya was only a child.

Matters regarding clans, the politics of trust, and wars didn't concern her. She's far too young to comprehend what problems the adults were facing. She was already forced to confront situations that a child shouldn't be suffering from.
