Bocahr Settlement: The Journey (30)

Zekhyr continued to pass by his subordinates in silence. He didn't even give them a single greeting despite receiving many.

Beyond a shadow of doubt, there was a myriad of things for him to think about. A moment of quietude would benefit him more than convening with others to create a solution.

It was a good thing that the members of Zekhyr's group were understanding of his disposition. Regardless of the fact that he was indifferent most times, they knew that he was a great leader nonetheless.

If only every single member of the group had that mindset, Zekhyr would have an easier time leading them.

What helped Zekhyr calm down was the presence of his daughter. Still and all, he felt sorry for subjecting her to such maltreatment. He would never forgive himself for being so careless.
