Romanoff Dukedom: Repentance (15)

Everyone in the room knew just how prideful Ius could be. That was one of his good traits.

Ius knew when he should take responsibility on behalf of the Valk League. As the leader, he didn't want his members to suffer the consequences of their faults even if he wasn't involved.

If the members of the league were asked, none of them would agree to replace Ius Romanoff. Rather than making them feel as if they were his subordinates -- something he was completely entitled to do -- Ius put it upon himself to place their opinions foremost.

It stands to reason that Ius was the leader that they were covetting to have.

Be that as it may, there was only so much they could tolerate. The Duke and Duchess of Romanoff were in the same position.

"Ius! Do you know what you are saying?! I won't forgive you if you continue being like this!" Freiyana exclaimed out of frustration.
