Romanoff Dukedom: Repentance (17)

Ius didn't look like he was grieving.

That didn't mean that he hadn't lost anything. As a matter of fact, he felt like he had lost the person who was much more of a father to him than the Duke.

Erwin's death had yet to catch up with his heart. But he knew what he had done.

The young man was having a difficult time accepting that Erwin was dead. He couldn't even begin to imagine who he would approach for advice. He didn't know who he would turn to when he was having misgivings about a certain matter.

Out of everyone who was grieving Erwin Pelt's death, it was Ius who was suffering the most.

Knowing that he would feel that way if he killed Erwin, why did Ius do it?

His reasoning was simple.

Ius had seen regret, languor, and even disappointment in Erwin's eyes. He was aware that the man was regretting, and would continue to regret his choices in his grave.
