Taming the Hybrid

'Just where have I seen that pill before? I can't recall when, but I know that I've seen it.'

Ius might just be mistaken. After all, pills that were elliptical in shape were more common than the circular ones.

However, the pill that Dorothea pulled out was not exactly elliptical.

On both ends of the pill, there were two small spikes. It almost looked like those who would drink it would choke in an instant.

Since it was bothering him, Ius decided to ask Dorothea about the pill. He knew that the woman would explain without being asked, yet he couldn't wait for that time to come.

"Dorothea, what is that pill? Do we have some of those in the Dukedom? It's quite familiar to me."

The woman didn't respond to Ius right away. She painstakingly poured all of her focus on handling the pill.
