Sleeping beauty

Andre flipped the light switch on. An exquisitely designed living room greeted him. Contemporary art pieces were artfully displayed along with black furniture and a white carpet. His eyes searched around the place taking in every piece of furniture; his lady had very good taste.

He saw a small cat curled up in the corner on a plush white cat bed. He knitted his eyebrows. Cats were disloyal creatures, he didn't like them. Shaking his head he ventured further into her house. He hadn't been to her place before this was the first time.

It was stylish with a hint of mid-century modern and minimalism. He knew she was very particular about the things she bought and food she ate. She had two bachelor's degrees and two masters and a PhD. She was scholarly but also someone who cared about appearance. She was always presentable and her house decorum was no different. He liked it.

Passing by one of the rooms he noticed a faint light coming from inside as the door was left ajar. Having no shame he walked into the room. It was her room, he saw a California King size bed, and cool colored walls. He saw the light of her bathroom on and headed towards it.

The sounds of Roy Hargrove and his trumpet floated into his ears. He pushed the door open and was greeted by the smell of roses and Anai'ya inside the bathtub with her eyes closed and head leaned back.

His Adam's apple bobbed slightly as he took in the sight. Her figure was faintly seen through the milky tub. The curve of her shoulders, her delicate collarbones and flawless complexion made the heat rise in his body. He stood there watching her for a while. Having forgotten his earlier anger his eyes were trained on the sleeping beauty.

He unbuttoned his shirt and left it open, his muscular lean chest was in view. Slipping off his shoes he walked over closer and directly sat down on the bathroom floor next to the tub leaning the right side of his body closer. He rolled up his sleeves and placed his elbow on the rim reaching up to caress her face. His calloused fingers lightly traced the outline of her lips, his thumb rubbed her silky skin.

His dark eyes were filled with obsession as he gazed at her. She was just so perfect he would never get enough. She was his sleeping beauty, her skin was bouncy and full of estrogen. Her long dark eyelashes casting a shadow on her cheeks. She looked like an exquisite painting.

He watched her like this for 20 minutes before deciding to wake her up to prevent her skin from getting overly wrinkly from soaking too long.

"Babe," He called softly, nudging her cheeks.

No response.

"Baby, get up." He called out again.

She stirred, her hands emerged from beneath the water to rub her eyes. She slowly opened her eyes, blinking in a daze. Looking down at herself she realized she was still in the tub. Raising her eyes her gaze collided with Andre's.

Her eyes widened into saucers for a moment. Staring at him in silence before her brain fully registered who he was. Her eyes narrowed angrily.

"What the actual fuck Andre?" Her voice was accusatory. She sat up taking into account that she was completely naked in water while he sat there fully clothed.

"Is that anyway to greet your fiancé?" He smiled at her in amusement at her reaction.

"How did you get in my house?" She ignored his question. Her eyes were cold, her voice was pissed off.

"You left the door open babe." He lied, reaching over to pinch her chin.

She dodged his hand and knitted her eyebrows. That was obviously a lie. She would never do such a thing, and especially knowing he was coming why would she willingly give him an open invitation.

"Cut the crap. How did you know my passcode? And why are you in here? What the hell is wrong with you?" She was very upset, he just barged into her home! Without her consent and while she was vulnerable. How long had he known her passcode?

"Okay okay, don't be angry. I guessed it. I also called and texted you multiple times. Don't worry I didn't touch anything babe. I just got here." He reasoned with her standing up and reached for her

bathrobe. He held it out for her.

She glowered at him. Her eyes were still cold and her face was angry but she had no idea that this was such an enticing sight for him. Heat began to gather in his lower abdomen. His eyes darkened significantly as he swallowed.

"Get out. Now!" She growled.

He smirked but placed the robe on the sink counter. Turning around he feet padded softly on the marble tiles. He left closing the door behind him. He walked over to her bed and sat down like the owner of the castle and leaned against her headboard waiting.

Anai'ya cursed him over and over again in her head. How dare he invade her home like this? Did he think she was stupid? She knew he lied about just getting here and guessing her passcode. She was very angry, her personal space had been invaded.

She stood up and drained the tub. Carefully stepping on the floor she dried her body with her towel meticulously. Sitting on the rim of the tub she began rubbing lotion on her body. She fell asleep for too long and didn't want dry wrinkly skin.

Taking her sweet time she finally emerged from the bathroom in her white bathrobe and her long black hair in a messy bun. Directly ignoring the man on her bed she made her way to the white leather sofa bench to grab her sleepwear. Walking to her closet she closed the door and got dressed.

Andre's eye followed her every move when she came out in her pjs. As she walked over to the bed and sat down undoing the bun on her head. She wore black silky shorts and a red silk button up. Her long legs paired with the silk shorts made his body tighten up. Licking his lips he smiled at her.

"Are you still mad?" He grinned, reaching over to pull her into his arms.

She didn't reply but pinched his arm and pushed him aside. Moving far away from him to the other side of the bed, she lifted up the covers and layed down with her back facing him.

"Get out." She said in her clear voice. Her hands were secretly clenched under the covers.

She was focusing her attention on calming down. She wanted to reach under her pillow and pull the dagger she placed there and stab him in his chest.

Normally she was able to deal with him in a calm manner, but she was really mad now. She felt incredibly unsafe in her own home at the very moment. The one place she had that he hadn't tainted was now ruined. She wanted him to leave before she completely lost her temper and gave herself away.

"Baby, don't be mad anymore okay. I'm sorry I won't ever do it again. I promise." He pleaded with her diving under the covers after slipping off his trousers and shirt, only wearing his boxers he moved closer to her.

Anai'ya could feel the heat of his body come closer and her muscles tensed. Her hands were clenched so tightly her veins could pop if she clenched any tighter.

"Go home. I don't want you here right now." She gritted her teeth.

"Don't be like that baby, I made a mistake." His big hand slowly creeped closer to her, placing it on her forearm.

"Don't touch me. You just broke into my house in the middle of the night." She shoved his hand away. Her back still facing him.

Andre chuckled and his eyes flashed with a doting look.

"I'm your fiancé, I wouldn't do anything to you baby. I know I'm wrong. It won't happen again. Don't kick me out, I'll be good." He was now pressed up against her, his long arm circled around her small waist.

Anai'ya took two deep breaths and resisted the urge to kick him off the bed.

"Fine. You can stay. However you have to sleep in another room. I'm still mad." She turned around laying flat on her back and glanced at him. He had turned off the light leaving only the soft glow of a candle on her bedside table.

He pouted. He gave her an aggrieved look. Leaning in he placed his head on her shoulder and hugged her closer to his body, nuzzling her neck taking in that lovely rose scent.

"Don't be like that." He complained to her.

"I'll be cold all by myself." He negotiated with her his voice like a pleading child. He was hugging her body like a bear.

"I know you're mad. Forgive me, eh?"

"Mmm?"

She sighed and grunted.

"Fine you can sleep here. SLEEP only." She said emphasizing the word sleep. If he tried to get fresh with her she would kick him off with no mercy.

Andre smirked triumphantly at getting his way. He placed soft kisses on her shoulder blade.

"Okay. Sleep baby, tomorrow is Saturday we can go out for breakfast. Goodnight." He kissed her neck and reached over to the nightstand and pinched the flame on the candle.

Darkness filled the room. Two people shut their eyes and began to doze off. The larger person hugged the smaller dainty figure like a koala. Soon enough their steady breathing was heard.
