Morning

Across the ocean, in a secluded mountain villa perched on a hilltop, a tall figure stood facing the outside watching the snow fall on the pine trees below. After receiving orders from the man and informing that cunning woman the figure was delighted. It was finally time to return to New York. It had been way too long. A cruel smile spread on the figure's face. It was time to go home and this time the one being chased out would be it. The person's appetite for revenge was awakened once more.

Turning around to walk out of the room the figure hummed a tune. Life began to flow through the figure's veins once more after so long a slumber, it was time to wake up.

Anai'ya slowly opened her eyes, blinking twice before her eyes registered that it was morning. She smiled to herself, it was Saturday morning. She loved Saturday mornings, there was no need to wake up early, no meetings to attend to. She decided to laze around in bed for the day watching movies and eating junk food.

Stretching her arms over her head intending to get up it dawned on her that a strong arm was wrapped around her waist. Her body immediately tensed up. It took her a moment to realize that Andre had stayed the night and fell asleep on her bed. Her originally happy mood darkened immediately. She had forgotten that he stayed the night.

'Fuck,' she thought bitterly.

Turning to look at his face she noticed how harmless he looked without his menacing eyes staring at you. His sharp jawline, straight nose, and perfect lips. Raising her hand to trace the outline of his face, running her thumb gently on his cheeks.

'How soft,' she thought.

She stared at him for a long time, This was the first time they had slept in the same bed despite being engaged for a while and been in a relationship for four years prior. In the beginning, when he asked her to be his girlfriend she told him she wouldn't sleep with any man that wasn't her husband. She had pulled the saving herself for marriage card at the time because she wasn't mentally prepared to handle him. Her hatred was too deep and she was barely learning to contain it, she couldn't bring herself to be too intimate with him. Over time she learned to handle her emotions better eventually building up her gag reflex to swallow her deep disgust. Of course, she went along with the no sex before marriage charade.

Turning her attention back to him looking at his long eyelashes the way they cast a shadow on his cheeks. Running her forefinger over his eyebrow feeling the fullness of them. This man was truly a sight for sore eyes, it was such a shame she only felt revulsion when she looked at him. If he was a better man she might be able to open her heart to him but as the saying goes you can't teach an old dog new tricks and this dog was old and set in its ways. There was no changing him, there was no salvation for him, for them. Not anymore.

Anai'ya sighed and lay back down looking up at the ceiling. A tiny part of her heart wished things were different. How nice it could have been had circumstances been different. If only they could go back in time before it all went to hell. Maybe they would have had a real chance. Alas, destiny had different plans for their lives. In this life, they were destined to be enemies.

Unknowingly Anaiya drifted back to sleep, falling into a deep slumber. Next to her, the man opened his fathomless eyes.

He had been awake all this time. He felt her trace her delicate fingers over his face. His heart brimming with gentleness, feeling like his heart had been dipped in honey. Looking at the woman of his dreams laying next to him in all her beauty he couldn't help but look longer.

He longed to hold her without any barriers: to become one with her. It was a natural morning reaction from his body but also the deep love he had for her. He wanted her to be his once and for all. However, deep down he was aware of the hesitation in her heart. They had been an official couple for a long time and had been engaged for more than a year but it didn't seem like she had any plans to speed the wedding up. It sometimes felt like she was waiting for the other shoe to drop. He knew he had to work harder to reassure her that she was the only one for him for the rest of his life.

Naturally, his body had a physical reaction to the closeness of her enticing body. His gaze darkened significantly. Her sexy collarbone peeked out from her button up. Her smooth skin looked soft and inviting. He swallowed his saliva as his eyes roamed over her beautiful sleeping face as the sun peaked in from the blinds enhancing her features. Following the curve of her neck to her collarbone to her chest into the cave of her cleavage. The buttons of her shirt were pulled slightly revealing snippets of flesh from her breasts all the way down to her navel. That sliver of skin ignited the fire in his eyes while causing his mouth to dry up.

He approached her slowly inhaling her flowery scent. Reaching over to place his large hand on her face feeling the silkiness of her skin, his thumb caressing her cheeks, running over her eyelids to the tip of her nose down to her lips. Rubbing his thumb over those luscious red lips his face drew closer, his breathing heavy. He couldn't wait any longer as he leaned closer and pressed his lips against hers. He closed his eyes, savoring the taste of her lips. Kissing her gently at first but the longer he kissed the deeper his kisses became, his lips pried hers open intending to slip his tongue between her teeth.

At this very moment, Anai'ya opened her eyes.
