Liu Corp Collaboration

On her way home to the Liu Mansion, Liu Wei's brain was replaying over the nights events. She laughs at herself for feeling so giddy. Was she crushing on Su Kai? She had to be honest with herself, can she afford this side distraction? After all her path to revenge will be a rocky one, does she dare to allow another person into her heart? All these questions kept floating in and out of her head. Weighing the pros and cons of pursuing this dangerous liaison. But in the end her rational was thrown out the window and she agreed to his terms.

In her past life, she never truly felt that she was wholeheartedly in love. The butterflies that swam in your stomach when you first set eyes on your crush, was never there. That puppy love stage in which you can't eat or sleep without that persons face constantly popping up in front of you, never happened to her. So this feeling was foreign but it was a feeling she was willing to have. What's the point of having a second chance at life when you don't grasp the bull by the horn? As they say.

In her past life, Lu Han courted her. And she did like him but it was more of a companion love and not the earth shaking love that most teenagers ended up having. It's kind of funny that in her current state she is feeling all of these with non-other than Su Kai. Could it be because the man exuded pheromones like he had bucket loads of them?

Gathering her thoughts back to the main issue at hand, she focuses on her next course of action. It's not going to be easy to raise the revenue but she already knew where to start. She reviewed all the employees backgrounds and their performance in the company. And low and behold, there are always people who take advantage of the system. Corrupt individuals who are there only to line their pockets with money. Managers who don't work but instead overwork their subordinates to the bone and suppress or steal their talent for their own gain. These despicable people needed to be handled with care and a major reconstruction within the company will need to take place.

The next day she sat down with her brother and showed the paper trail of all the managers who have been swindling the company for many years now. Proposing a plan that would get rid of these un loyal and cancerous individuals within the company was going to be received with skepticism. But this is necessary for the well being and growth of any company. Hence her brother was on board with the plan.

Soon it took effect and the restructuring created an uproar in upper management. Within a few days new blood were introduced to the company and anyone who had the aptitude was given a chance within the company to excel and move up. This showed the normal worker bees that if they worked hard enough, their company will reward their efforts and loyalty. The new people had the excited and drive to excel so their work was very efficient and productive. Which created an increase in work efficiency and it showed in the relationship between the interactions with the other business that was partnered with Liu Corp.

Her second step was to undertake a collaboration with Su Kai. A project to introduce their main product using Su Industries platform. This would bring in millions if not billions in revenue. Liu Wei was tad nervous but she was confident in her skills to win over Su Kai. Worse comes to worst she could just seduce him into saying yes to their business partnership. An evil smile slowly formed on her face as she thought of this scheme.

Liu Wei arrived at Su Industries. She already had an appointment set up at 1pm with the business management team. She arrived promptly and was shown to the conference room, she knew that Su Kai wouldn't be present as her proposal wasn't big enough to catch his attention. After all his time was precious and as a CEO he had many things he needed to deal with on a daily basis. So she was more at ease and didn't need to be as nervous. She felt that if he attended the meeting, he would only distract her with his hawk like stare and would throw off her equilibrium and perhaps mess up her performance and securing the deal.

Right as she entered she almost dropped her files and tripped from the shock of seeing Su Kai sitting at the head of the conference table. He seemed like an emperor surveying his territory. He casually glanced up in her direction and slowly stood up. He extended his right hand to shake hers and casually says "So we meet again VP Liu Wei.".

"I didn't expect that you would sit in on this meeting, CEO Su." She stares at him and was dying to ask him so many questions like What the hell are you doing here? It's so beneath you to even listen to my tiny ass proposal. You better not be here to make my life difficult or I will kick you under the table!!!

"I'm interested in this project, I didn't think it would be you presenting it. I am pleasantly surprised, please carry on."

The man is so infuriating! Okay, she can totally get through this. I mean, it's just a hot hunk giving her smoldering looks nothing to be nervous about. She closed her eyes for a minute and gathered her thoughts. Once she started her presentation, she was in the moment. It was flawless and contributed to both companies profiting. After her presentation was done, Su Kai took his sweet time to respond.

"I only have one question, will you be spearheading this project?"

"Yes, I will be on board from conception to the finalization. Why is there a problem?" She couldn't figure out what he was trying to get at.

"No, no problem. I look forward to working with Liu Corp. Would you like to have lunch while you are here?"

Everyone in the room including Liu Wei was shocked by the invitation.

What are you doing Su Kai? We are supposed to be on the down low… what is this? She was giving him googly eyes trying to convey her thoughts to him and all he did was wink. Oh .. my .. gosh.. he just winked at me in front of so many employees.

"um, sure. It's my treat to thank you for the collaboration. You won't regret this decision."
