III. Gay

Choked in her drink, Lynne almost got drowned.

*cough *cough*cough

'I did not see that coming. I thought, it's about someone impregnated by him or having a secret affair.'

Secretary Lynne occasionally hear a rumor or two about CEO Lu every now and then.

What can she say her boss is popular. There's a lot of eyes and ears watching him waiting for him to make a mistake.

"Secretary Lynne !Are you alright?" They asked her out of concern.

"I'm *cough *cough* fine." Secretary Lynne said while she's coughing profusely. She raised her hand, reassuring her work mates. Mary plucked out some tissue and hand it to Secretary Lynne and checked if Lynne is really okay.

"He's cold and indifferent to all the female employees except Secretary Lynne ." Grace, said as a matter of fact.

"You are his Secretary for almost 5 years. Do you know anything about his relationships? Has he ever dated someone? Did you ever get a feeling that CEO Lu is a little bit---- you know---- attracted to me?" Taylor asked with hopeful eyes.

Seducing CEO Lu is something that they don't even think about. A lot of employee has been fired because of their inappropriate behavior in the company.

"Excuse me?" Mary stare dagger at Taylor and if stares can kill. Taylor must have been in blood bath by now.

"Hehe- what - -I mean is, if he is gay?" Taylor said, correcting himself.

"He is handsome, wealthy and extremely charming. Popular to the both sexes. Just imagined his physic, tantalizing eyes, well defined jawline and those plump lips of his. I would love to taste them." Taylor said in full of malice.

"We do not share anything about personal matters." Secretary Lynne said. Which is entirely, true.

They envy secretary Lynne for being CEO Lu's secretary, if it somebody else, they'll do everything to get CEO Lu's attention.

But, what can they say, Secretary Lynne can keep up with CEO Lu.

Which clearly, impossible for them.

"I heard that his previous assistants did not last for more than 5 months and don't you, guys, wondering - - -"

"That's enough for today." Secretary Lynne stand up immediately, startling Taylor.

"I hope to stop this rumor, ourselves. Let's just keep it within us. If I happen to hear a thing about this, I'll be thinking that you guys, spread it. Finish your lunch and I'll see you upstairs." Secretary Lynne said smiling. Making her look like an angel like demon. She stand up and leave Taylor along with the other employees.

They are all startled and looking at the direction of Secretary Lynne, thinking if they have offended Secretary Lynne in anyway.

'That is what a real devil looks like. ' Taylor gulped by the thought itself.

"She knew something but refuses to share it with us, that traitor!" Feeling betrayed, Taylor continued his meal.

"I thought she's angry." Tom, a trainee under Taylor supervision.

"For a while, she's scary." Seeing the reaction of Secretary Lynne, Linda is now scared of her.

"Secretary Lynne is sure dedicated to her work." Mary blurted out.

"Yeah." They said in unison.

CEO Lu didn't came back after lunch and it's 10 minutes before 3 o' clock.

Secretary Lynne just came back from a meeting when she's greeted by running Linda.

Linda swipe the sweat on her forehead while catching her breath as she speak with secretary Lynne.

"Sec--secretary Lyn--ne, someone is here for CEO Lu."

CEO Lu cleared his, 3 o'clock but didn't mention if he's having a visitor. Puzzled, Secretary Lynne asked Linda, who was the visitor?

"Who?"

"Erm. I forgot to ask. She's in the waiting area." Linda said scratching her head.

"It's fine. But, next time, when someone ask for CEO Lu, don't forget to ask his/her identity, before coming to me. You may go." Linda slightly nodded and sigh in relief. She thought she'll get a scolding from Secretary Lynne but it didn't happen.

It's only been a week since she joined the company and she still figuring the things out. She's just glad that all of them is approachable and friendly.

The waiting area is a few steps away from her desk. It's is an open room divided by thick window glasses with blinds. Secretary Lynne brought a snack and a drink, she eyed the visitor and based on her appearance she's not here for business.

"Please help yourself." Secretary Lynne, put down the tray in front of the woman. Secretary Lynne guess the woman's age is around early 20's. She's wearing a red - off shoulder long sleeves top matched with a sideslit skirt and pointed blue high heels.

She's sitting cross legs and wearing a sunglasses. Lynne smiled at the woman.

"Good afternoon. I am Secretary Lynne , CEO Lu's secretary. If you don't mind, may I know to whom am I speaking with?"

The woman looked at Secretary Lynne from head to toe and cringe when she saw her shoes. Raising an eyebrow to her, she asked.

"You don't know me?"

"I'm afraid, I dont." Lynne answered politely. The woman cannot believe what she just heard and smiled mockingly. She's all over the media platform, how come she didn't know her.

'Maybe, she's feigning ignorance and one of my haters.' The woman smirked at Secretary Lynne.

"That can't be helped. Here."

The woman gave out her business card. Secretary Lynne accepted the card with two hands and smile apologetically.

'Louisa Clark from YG Intertainment. I still don't know her, though.'

"Ms. Clark, if you wish to meet CEO Lu, you need to make an appointment."

"No need, I'll just wait for him." Insisting that she'll wait for CEO Lu.

"That can't be possible. CEO Lu is not in his office, he cleared his 3 pm meeting and I don't know where he is now. " Secretary Lynne said helplessly.

"WHAT!? I CAME HERE, RIGHT AFTER MY SHOOT." Louisa screamed on top of her lungs.

Everyone heard her loud and clear.

"Please, lower your voice." Secretary Lynn maintaing her calm and compose character.

(＾▽＾) Lynne's face outside.

"That is why, you can't come here, without an appointment, Ms. Clark. I can help you arrange an appointment - - -

"There's no need for that."

Secretary Lynne is cut in mid sentence with a familiar voice. Turning her head, she saw CEO Lu together with --

Secretary Lynne eyes lit up when she saw the person standing beside Alexander.

"Alexander!" Louisa, jump out from the couch and runs towards CEO Lu.

She clings to his arm.

All the people in the department, froze in sight. The cold and indifferent boss let a woman touch him moreover cling to him.

This scene left the employees totally flabbergasted well all except secretary Lynne.

'Hey. Is that Louisa Clark?'

'Yea. That's her!'

'Let try not to get her bad side.

She could be, our lady boss.'

'yea--yeah'

"Your assistant is terrible. She said, you won't see me. She's keeping you away from me. Where did you get her?" Louisa said pouting. CEO Lu looked at Secretary Lynne, paying attention to her reaction.

Secretary Lynne doesn't like what's going on. She's confused and also irritated.

'This woman and her twisted words. I am not keeping you away from CEO Lu.'

She's enjoying this job and it would be a waste if CEO Lu would fire her, because of this woman scheming.

'Eh? Whatever. I'll just apologize.'

"CEO Lu, I did not know, you're acquainted with Ms. Clark. I apologize for my ignorance. It will not happen again." Secretary Lynne made sure that she sounds apologetic and bowed.

"Duh~ of course, you wouldn't know. You're just his secretary." Louisa Clark said, with a smile plastered on her face.

"Let's talk inside." With that said, CEO Lu and Louisa went to the CEO's office.

'You should know you place, assistant.' Louisa said in her mind. Looking at Secretary Lynne, Louisa gave a gleeful chuckle.

Secretary Lynne entrusted Tom to serve CEO Lu and Ms. Clark some refreshments.

Chandler greeted Secretary Lynne energetically.

"Yoh! That was Louisa Clark, right?" Chandler said looking at the CEOs office while eyeing warily to Lynne's reaction. Secretary Lynne just nodded, she almost forgot the presence of Chandler if he didn't spoke to her. She titled her head faced Chandler. She asked.

"Uhm, you know her?" and with that said Chandler burst out laughing.

"Haha - - I knew it, you can't possibly know her. Haha - ha, She's on of the rising talent of YG Entertainment. She's all over the media platform. You didn't know?" Chandler said full of eagerness.

"Oh." Seeing her, bored reaction. Chandler can't help laughing. After a while, Chandler stop laughing and clears his throat. Seeing her eyes squinted, Chandler immediately apologized.

"Sorry." Chandler said with a peace sign using his fingers.

There are a few people that Chandler do not wish to offend. First, his brother. Knowing the temper of his brother, he need to be careful. Second, his brothers secretary, no other than Lynne. He knew well what secretary Lynne is capable of and Chandler wish to live long.

"When did you come back?" Secretary Lynne asked.

Chandler D. Lu, second brother of Alexander Lu and he is the COO of Lu Corporation. He was gone for business, for two years and just get back. Unlike his brother, Chandler has the attitude of easy-go-lucky with an attitude of a child. He also work for as a model and done a few commercials.

"Not so long ago. Bro, picked me up in the airport. Saying, I need to get some files in the office."

'Oh, that's why he cleared his 3 o' clock.'

"CEO Lu didn't told me you'll be back, today. If I knew, I would have gone to picked you up."

"That sly fox, I told him to tell you , that I'm coming back. " Feeling upset, Chandler has thought of a way, to get back at his brother.

"Hey, Lynne . Let's have dinner.It's payback time（^ヮ^) "
