When Chandler left the office walking like corpse there's already a car that's waiting for him that secretary Lynne prepared.

"Lynne is sure is angel and my brother that devil." Chandler safely got home and greeted by Manang Lourdes.

"Eh! No one bothered to greet me at the door. Hehe- - - Family must have missed me so much that they are hiding and ready to surprise me."

Seeing the Second young master as lively as ever. Manang smile in content. Manang is their 'nanny' as far as they can remember. She's now the majordomo of the main residence.

"Second young master, welcome back! You've become thin. You should eat more while you are here."

"Later, Manang. Where's father?"

"Headmaster was gone for business. Senior Master is in the entertainment room, playing 'go' with young prince"

"Thank you, Manang."

Chandler rushed to the entertainment room. Pushed the door with his two hands.

"I'M HOME! ＼(〃＾０＾〃 )/

He said on top of his lungs but the two people inside are oblivious and obviously disregarding his presence.

Seeing that no one welcomed him. Chandler smile vanished. (◣_◢)

And now, Chandler is throwing a fit.

"Second brother." Chandler's evil expression vanished and grin from ears to ears.

He spread his arms outward expecting a hug from his younger brother.

"When will you leave? You're too loud" His younger brother lazily commented.

Prince Charles Dechavez Lu, 9 years old.

Blood rushed to Chandler's face, pointing his finger to his younger brother as he scream out of his lungs.

"Second young master, please refrain from shouting."

'Rescue has come.' Chandler thought. He pouted when he saw Manang.

"Manang (๑•́ ₃ •̀๑) they're bullying me."

"Senior Master, young master, the second young master is here."

"Ohhh, my good for nothing grandchild is here." he's grandfather said while holding his beared.

Charles Lu III, 68 years old married to Xandra Adelaine Moore, 70 years old.

"Grandpa, it's your turn now."

"Eh? You won, again. (＾▽＾) Hahaha"

"Playing with you, is no fun. Grandpa (￣︿￣)"

"You guys are still ignoring me. (◣_◢)" Chandler's expression was beyond furious and he is mad but a sweet soft voice called him.

"Little Chan, welcome back."

"Grandma! ༼☯﹏☯༽ grandpa's - - - " In instant Chandler tears up upon hearing her Grandmother's voice.

"Old man. Stop bullying the poor child. Hush, now. Come, let's have dinner. Little Lex is already at the dinning. Little Prince, come here."

"Yes, grandma." Prince answered.

"Eh? Darling, aren't you inviting me

"Suit yourself." Grandmother said coldy. Chandler smiled at his grandfather while sticking his tongue out.

'Serves you right, grandpa.'

***Early in the morning

"Secretary Lynne, are you alright?" Mary asked.

'This is the first time that Secretary Lynne is feeling unwell.' Mary thought. They even thought that she's a robot. Lynne woked up with a terrible headache. She tossed around all night and didn't get enough sleep.

"I'm fine. I'm sorry. Do you need something?" Lynne smile apologetic.

"I need CEO Lu to sign these papers." She put the folders in Lynne's desk and put a hand in her forehead and Lynne's forehead.

"Well, you don't have a fever."

Lynne smiled and reassured Mary that she's fine. She entered CEO Lu's office and found that he is not sitting in his reclining chair but instead seated in the couch.

"CEO Lu. I need your signature in these papers."

CEO Lu's brow raised. "Put them down here."

Secretary Lynne put down the files in the table. Slightly bowed and ready to leave.

"Where are you going?" CEO Lu looked at secretary Lynne questioning her action.

"Ehm. Do you need anything, CEO Lu?"

"Wait for this files. I'll sign them now."

"Okay, CEO Lu. "

CEO Lu went back reading the files and stopped when he saw secretary Lynne remained standing still in his side.

"Secretary Lynne (-_- )"

"Yes (^◡^ )" Secretary Lynne answered in full of enthusiasm.

"Will you just stand there?"

CEO Lu pointed out to the couch across him, telling Lynne to have a seat non-verbally.

"Eh? Yes, CEO Lu" Lynne seated across, CEO Lu. There's a lot of files in the table and it's going to take a while.

Secretary Lynne closed her eyes and waited quietly.

CEO Lu knew about secretary Lynne habit of closing her eyes when waiting or thinking about something. He used this opportunity to look at her.

His cold eyes, immediately melted and soften as he looked at Secretary Lynne. His eyes are full of concern. He noticed her pale complexion that's why he asked her to seat.

'This is the first.'

Secretary Lynne was working for atleast 5 years now and all those years, she was never been sick. She also do not take leave and was never absent.

After reading for a while, CEO Lu's noticed Lynne's breathing become slow, indicates that she have fallen asleep.

He heard someone's knocking and his eyes turned murderous. He was ready to fire the individual who will disturb secretary Lynne rest.

"CEO Lu - - -"

The person who knocked was Linda. CEO Lu wave his hand and telling Linda to come closer. When Linda has come into distance.

Linda saw Secretary Lynne, sitting with her eyes close.

'Is she awake?'

"Make it quick." A cold shiver runs down in Linda's spine as he heard CEO Lu's domineering voice.

"Uhm, Ms. Clark is outside asking for you." Linda said as she tremble in fear.

"Tell her. I'm busy"

"But- - -

Linda want to says something but stop mid way.

Linda saw CEO Lu's face darken, his eyes threw daggers. She gulped and force herself to shut up.

"I will not repeat myself. Understand? "

- - - yes, CEO Lu" Linda said almost stuttering.

" Now, leave."

Linda fled off hurriedly. She sighed in relief that she escaped a catastrophe but remembered that another demon is waiting for her return, Ms. Louisa Clark.

CEO Lu just finished signing and reading the papers secretary Lynne brought in.

He gazed intently at the person in front of him.

'She looks peaceful.'

Raising his eyebrow and there is flash of confusion in his eyes.

'This is the also the first time, Secretary Lynne fell asleep in work.'

CEO Lu stand up and took a seat beside secretary Lynne. He move closer and sat carefully afraid of waking secretary Lynne up.

His hand moved on its own reaching for Lynne's hair. He sniff it while keeping vigilant.

A soft smell of flowers entered his nostrils that made an effect on him. CEO Lu eyes instantly darken and make him pursed his lips.

He gazed at her closed eyes, seeing her long lashes he smiled and move closer. The corner of his mouth turned down when he notice the bags under her eyes.

'What did she do? It seems like she did not get enough sleep.'

His gazed fell upon her soft pinkish lips that is slightly parted as if he is inviting for a taste. CEO Lu moved closer, closing the distance between them. He was too captivated by the beauty in front of him.

He knew that were secretary Lynne do not wear lipstick and just use lip gloss or chapstick ever since.

CEO Lu stopped by an inch and gulped when he realized, how close he was from kissing secretary Lynne.

He can clearly feel her breathing and intoxicated in her scent.

He is having a fight with his inner demon. He immediately pull himself away. Afraid that he won't be able to suppress himself any longer. He stand up and walked right out of his office.

The sound of slammed door, made Lynne jump out.
