The Goblin Chief
Eternal started to drool a bit, he turned his head to look at the limp bodies of the goblins. Eternal was starving. He trotted over to one of the goblin corpses and started to dine. When Eternal was stuffing his face with goblin flesh. His skill < Glutton > was making wounds heal faster than normal. But he didn't notice.
Eternal ate all the goblin corpses. While he was consuming his food, it looked like he hadn't eaten in days. It was as if a lunatic was starved. He barely stopped to chew, only when there was one goblin corpse left he savor the taste more. | You have gained 1 HP| Eternal hopped back by the sudden appearance of the screen.
Eternal looked at the screen, he wondered if the text could be shorter. |~You have~ has now been removed from the text permanently| Eternal was amazed that the system changed the text just like that, he thought for a moment "Could the system change to how I want it."^ But he gave up on the idea because he wasn't that knowledgeable.
Other than being hungry, he had another reason for eating. And that reason was because of his
Eternal tried to snicker, but all that came out of his mouth was a weak grunt. He couldn't wait for the reward from his quest. He was still confused about this ability that adds a system to a system but it helped in his growth so it was fine with him.
He looked at the reward for the quest.

When looking at the mission, Eternal thought it was strange that the mission only told him to kill ten normal goblins and the chief. Though he didn't really care that's all the mission said, in the end, the bonus rewards will help him. Eternal then started walking towards the massive wood door. His hp, mana, and stamina were all full. He was ready to fight.
As he was walking something dawned on him. "Shouldn't the goblin chief be awake by now, it was a pretty loud fight, was the goblin chief still asleep!"^ Eternal used his head to open the door and has the thought the goblin chief was still asleep.
His earth-shattering snores could shake the whole room. The goblin chief was asleep sitting on a wooden throne with an arm to support his head. Anyone would think he is a normal goblin. Besides the fact, he was 3 meters tall and 2 meters wide and covered in steel.
Eternal understood why the goblin chief didn't wake up. These snores were as loud as a fireball. The room was empty besides the chief, the throne, and some armor here and there. It was just a dirt room with a goblin.
Eternal excited how easy this was going to be, started walking towards the goblin chief. As soon as he was close enough to pounce on the goblin the snoring stopped. This startled Eternal, then the goblin chief opened his eyes. Unmoving the chief looked down to see a wolf and looked up out the open door seeing his kins bodies, or what's left of them on the floor.
The goblin chief roared, Eternal backed up. The goblin grabbed a huge double-sided ax off the ground. Right as the goblin roared Eternal felt something was pulling on him. Eternal activated
He turned into his more demonic form and charged at the chief. The goblin chief in response charged at him, the goblin swung his ax down planning to cut Eternal in two. Eternal with his ability dodged he leaped and dug his jaw into a place where there was no armor. | 11 damage |
Eternal's eyes widened in astonishment. He had no idea how high the goblin's defense was and how tough his skin was. All Eternal did was leave a light wound that would heal fast.
The goblin chief threw Eternal against the dirt wall leaving a small crack in the dry dirt. | 12 HP lost 29 HP left | Eternal didn't know this but that throw would kill the average human. Eternal's defense was high but not as high as this monster. Eternal mainly survived because of dodging not tanking hits.
Eternal was mad at himself for wasting his mana before the fight out of fear. He was guessing he would be able to kill the goblin chief with one of his fireballs. He was close to 3 mana, so he decided he should survive for 3 minutes.
The goblin chief wasn't waiting for Eternal to recover. He charged at him with a scream and swung with his ax Eternal dodged and ran to the other side of the room. Eternal could easily dodge but didn't have enough stamina to do it forever.
Eternal kept dodging and running but he was getting tired, unlike the goblin chief who just roared in anger.
Every time the goblin chief roared Eternal noticed he got a bit faster. So he guessed it was some sort of ability. He barely dodged his attacks now and would feel as if he would pass out soon. And the goblins roar ability wasn't really helping him either.
Then he felt it, he had enough mana. He dodged the massive ax which ended up barely hitting Eternals side blood gushed out |9 HP lost 20 HP left (Bleeding 2 HP a minute| By now the goblin chief was enraged he couldn't kill this puny creature. Which only made him swing wildly every time missing. If the goblin chief was calmer Eternal would already be dead.
Eternal then jumped on the back of the goblin and activated
Eternal fell off the back of the goblin onto the floor with a ~thud~ he was exhausted. Eternal's vision was a bit blurry from fatigue he saw the goblin chief look at him then fall on the ground and dropping its ax with a ~clank~. | Goblin Cheif Slain| | Quest Complete| | Level Up| |Level Up|...
