Eternal looked at the quest perplexed. He went over to the dead goblin chief and started eating.
After he finished the goblin chief. He ran up the endless stairwell. When he got out he was in the dungeon. "Oh wait, I need to check my stats right."^ Eternal couldn't believe he forgot about his quest reward.

Eternal looked at the status screen in utter shock. "Why is my reward higher than 80 percent." Eternal could almost leap with joy. Was he just lucky that the quest didn't say all goblins? Or did the system underestimate him? He doesn't really know.
When Eternal stopped pondering he decided he should hunt bats. In his opinion, they were easy to hunt and a tasty snack so it was a win-win. He started roaming the tree-filled, mushroom covered, halls of the dungeon.
He came across a few golems but ignored them. Eternal only saw three monsters in the dungeon. Golems, goblins, bats, and every now and then a Zhacar coming down from above. He's killed 4 bats so far and eaten them but no notification popped up. But on the 5th bat after grabbing the giant bats neck with his teeth he finally leveled up. |Giant Bat Slain| |Level Up|

And with a full stomach, he fell asleep peacefully in his hole. When he got up he was ready to level up again. He immediately left his hole for food and levels. He started running through the dungeon and came face to face with a goblin. Without hesitation, he bit them without remorse.

Eternal didn't level up not that he expected he would level up. He ate the three goblins to quench his hunger. And after his meal, he was out on the hunt again.
Like yesterday he avoided golems and attacked mostly bats. And some goblins when they get in the way. After Eternals 4th bat of the day he leveled up. Running through the dungeon-like a kid with candy kept on looking for monsters. He was only two levels away from evolving.
After hunting for a while killing some goblins and bats he leveled up once more. Excitement brewing inside Eternal he roamed the halls vigorously looking for monsters. He came across three more goblins and bats killing them all. Eternal was behind a corner looking at three goblins.
With fire in his eyes, he leaped at the goblins. In a flash, the first two goblins lost their flesh. And soon after there lives. The last goblin had a disturbed look on his face. He tried to hit Eternal with a wooden club with all is strength. And as the club hit Eternal nothing happened. Eternal just turned his head and bit the goblin in his neck.

Eternal didn't even need to look at the abilities of each evolution. He trusted his newfound system and decided that the second choice was better.
Remembering that he passes out when he evolves he runs back to the hole he dug earlier. And he squeezes in the hole and started his evolution. |
