Experiment

The time theory and parallel universe don't work like those sci-fi movies or like how Trunk time traveled in Dragon Ball. It is a more deep and complex concept that even the original creator of this theory isn't sure it's really gonna work or not.

Time and parallel universe both work like a streaming river which flows only onward way and cannot be reversed. If anyone tries to reverse the time flow by any means, he has to jump to another parallel world. He cannot change his own world's past or future. And the matter of fact is that the body of the person cannot be sent to the past or future; or so, what Ravi has discovered so far.

Depending on this basis, Ravi brought this idea to time travel his mind or can be said his consciousness.

His so-called Time Capsule has been invented for this cause, to convert his consciousness into energy and send this energy to the past or future into a parallel world. It can be said that there might be a lot of similarities or dissimilarities between two parallel worlds. Nothing can be said exactly.

What might happen next, everything is unknown to Ravi, so he decided to leave everything to his fate.

It was around 9.30 P.M, after eating his dinner he steeled his mind and head toward his lab. His assistant was in the lab. He gave Ravi a suit for entering the Capsule.

Then Ravi gave him some instructions...

"Rickie, this time set the timer for only 5 hours in the past. Last time, we did it for 1 day but it ended up in failure, and don't forget to monitor the condition of my body in the meanwhile. "

"Don't worry, Boss. Leave everything in my hand."

After wearing the suit, Ravi went into the Capsule.

"Okay then, I'm going in. Wish me luck."

As he went in, Rickie became busy activating the Capsule and maintaining the functions.

As the machine activated, Ravi who was inside the capsule could feel many small electric sparks that went and out from his body. After feeling this tickling sensation for about a minute, his mind started to went blank. He forgot why he was in this capsule and after a while, his body went to coma leaving his consciousness from his body.

After a while, when his consciousness returned and he found himself in the college. He was wearing the formal dress that he wears every day for going to college. He checked the date and time, everything is in its place as per the experiment.

"Does this mean the experiment is a success?!!! "

He couldn't believe it so easily, so pinched his cheek with his right hand.

"Ouch!!! That really hurt. This means I am not dreaming."

After confirming the success of his experiment he hurriedly went for his house. He wanted to give this good news to Rickie. Though, Rickie might not believe, when or how it became successful. But Ravi thought, after explaining he would understand.

In this excitement, he forgot about the two reporters who were about to meet him. But actually, they weren't going to come. This was one of the dissimilarities of the parallel world. The 5 hours of difference between the two parallel worlds can lead to many dissimilarities, which he forgot to pay attention to.

As he reached his house, he went straight to his lab. He found a person with long hair and glass in the eyes working with a capsule-like machine. He is none other than Rickie, but he looks kinda different.

"Hey, Rickie. The experiment we were doing is finally a success. Can you believe it?"

"Really?? But the capsule isn't finished yet. How can you say, it is a success? "

"Well, how do I explain it to you. Just let me put it straight, I came from the future of 5 hours." Ravi said it with a serious face.

"Sir, are you drunk or what. This thing still needs tons of modifications to make, it may need a few more years to reach its perfection."

"I am telling you the truth, I swear upon my dead parents and don't worry about it so much. It'll be finished soon."

"Okay, Sir. I will believe you.No need to be so stiff about it."

"Okay, but what's with the 'Sir', didn't you always called me 'Boss'?"

"No, I have always called you 'Sir'."

Ravi sighed, he could only think of this as a personality change difference between two parallel worlds. But, he didn't pay much attention to it. He thought these minor dissimilarities wouldn't cause a problem.

But, he didn't know, there is a huge dissimilarity which he couldn't notice.

"Oh,well. No matter, I am only here for 5 hours & after that, you will get your old 'Sir'."

After saying goodbye to Rickie, he went upstairs and decided to take rest. At around 9.30 A.M, his mind again went blank and after a while, he found himself in a Capsule like machine.

He could see his assistant waiting with anticipation to know how did the trial go this time.

When he got out of the Capsule his assistant asked him...

"Boss, how did it go? Is it a success?"

"Yeah, it is a success. It went pretty smoothly. But, how was the condition of my body?" Ravi asked.

"Well, to put it simply. It was in complete coma. You were breathing but if you were gone for 2/3 days you could have forgotten to breathe and that would lead to your death." Rickie replied staring at the ground.

"Hmm...you did a good job."

"It was nothing, Boss. He he he...." Rickie laughed awkwardly.

Ravi expected this, if his consciousness leaves his body, his body won't last long. If he wants to get his revenge and do something to prove his worth to the world he needs to go to the past.

In other words, he would die in this world and live as Ravi from a parallel world. He is pretty nervous about the whole process but it is something he has to do.

He had no one from his home country and Rickie is the only one he considers close to him. So, he decided to leave all the wealth and properties to Rickie. He needed to make a will for transferring all the properties to Rickie.

Other than this, he needed to take care of another important matter before he enters the Time Capsule.

"Tomorrow will be a busy day." Ravi sighed as he went upstairs.
