Chapter 4 - Black Feather Merchant Guild

A beautiful girl with pearl-black hair and midnight black eyes with jade-like skin and dressed in white and blue robes stood in front of them. Her age was similar to Ken's, but her face had a bit of mature gaze which a child shouldn't have.

"Where did you come from?" The girl asked them with a suspicious tone. She knew something was off about them, there was no way they could have originated from Profound Sky Continent with those eyes and that aura of power.

"We came from the stars," Ken explained excitedly as he pointed to the sky but only to get reprimanded by Shen Xi.

The girl narrowed her eyes at such a suspicious answer.

"He means we came from a mountain called the Star Mountain which is in the direction he pointed at," Shen Xi tried to convert such a suspicious answer into something more believable.

However, the girl still had her suspicions on where they came from but left them alone for now.

"Wow Xi, she could sort of match up to your beauty," Ken exclaimed as he stared at her back as she walked away.

"Ken, I'm being serious now but don't randomly tell people our information. They may want to hurt us after learning where we come from (not that they can hurt us, but it'll be annoying). Xi said with a serious expression on her face while patting his head.

"Ok," he half-heartedly spoke then went on to look at one of the stores. The store had a black painting with gold rims that made it stand out compared to the rest of the shops.

Ken walked in with his head looking around in interest, he saw many things he had never seen before. The store seemed to contain everything, from clothes to cultivation manuals.

"Hi, what can I do for you at the Black Feather Merchant Guild?" a youthful female attendant dressed in a black and gold dress spoke in a respectful tone because you never know what status a young boy could have, moreover a really cute boy.

"I'm just looking around," Ken replied while his head looked around with an interested gaze.

The attendant remained respectful and left but had a trace of disdain in her eye because only poor people would say that they're looking around.

Shen Xi walked into the store and everyone stopped what their doing and everyone became silent. If you dropped a pin right now, you could even hear the wind rustling as it fell. Most people who came here were rich noble young masters and so you could imagine what happened.

Multiple young masters snapped out their drunken daze and simultaneously moved towards her until they heard a rather overbearing voice yell out.

"This woman is mine!" a handsome man looking like he was in his mid-20s dressed in robes decorated with suns and moons walked over. All the other young masters immediately stepped back in fear, they weren't afraid of him but rather his background.

"Hahaha, this young master came to this dump of a city to visit the royal palace but who would've thought that I've struck gold! This young master's name is Ye Xinghan, heir to the Sun Moon Divine Hall!" Xinghan introduced arrogantly while staring lecherously at her figure.

Shen Xi just ignored the fool who was trying to impress her with his identity and continued searching for Ken. Ye Xinghan's face went red with anger because no woman has ever dared to refuse him. This was basically just slapping his face.

He couldn't believe that a woman dared to refuse him, so he unleashed his Emperor 4th level cultivation and tried to pressure Shen Xi. However, things didn't go to plan when he saw Shen Xi continue looking for Ken, seemingly unaffected by his pressure.

Something clicked inside his stupid brain, this woman must have higher cultivation than me. He immediately ran out in fear that Shen Xi might kill him for offending her.

'Just you wait! I'll make sure you will be under me!' Xinghan viciously thought while running away. The crowd of young masters realized something was wrong if Ye Xinghan ran away, they immediately dispersed.

Shen Xi just sneered at the running away with a tail between their legs, she ignored them while a shocked female attendant stood by the side. She spotted Ken who has currently looking at a white silverish robe in extreme interest.

"Ken, what you are doing here?"

"I want this robe, Xi," while continuing to inspect the robe with a pleased expression on his face.

The female attendant on the side was still shivering but managed to overcome her fear in order to come over and say, "Senior, the Black Feather Merchant Guild will be more than happy to provide the young master with the set of clothes as a gift." Her face was all smiles and she didn't dare to look into Shen Xi's eyes in fear of offending her.

Ken smiled happily and said, "Thank you," enthusiastically before running to the change rooms to change into his new robes. After changing, he walked out elegantly with a whole new look.

If before he was said to look like an extremely cute cultivation maniac, now he looked like a prince. His pale white hair, left neon blue eye and right purplish-pink eye with black spirals. His jade-like skin which could even make women jealous, his muscular yet lean body attained without any training and cute facial features all matched perfectly with the white silverish robe.

The robe itself had white as its main color and silver as an outline for the half-crescent moon decoration that was covered the rims of the edges.

Shen Xi's eyes changed into love-hearts as she immediately rushed to him and hugged him while pinching his cheeks.

"Ooooh, you're so cute," Xi kept continuing to pinch his cheeks while she kept on repeating this line.

"Stop, Xi," Ken futilely tried to stop her from trampling on his dignity by trying to run away but a Divine Tribulation's strength was rather strong.

The female attendant just chuckled seeing this.

----------------------A few hours later

After learning about the power structure and where they were, they decided they will train in a place called Floating Cloud City before heading to Blue Wind Empire so Ken can make the weak Blue Empire the most powerful empire as further training.

When they arrived at the Floating Cloud City, they went to a villa called the Xia Manor. They will disguise themselves at guards for 10 years before heading out.
