Prodigy

"How are you feeling, Miss? Uncomfortable anywhere?" Aurora has not stopped asking me several questions since we came out of the bath and I don't blame her for worrying this much. 

"I'm alright, Aurora. Thank you." I would reply whenever she asked me while the boy looked at us from the opposite bed, blank stare in his face. 

"Aurora." Jasmine called, "Can I have a talk with you for a second?"

"Can't you do that here?" Aurora whined scared to leave my side. "Didn't you say something about including Miss in conversations because you lost a bet?"

Well, she's not wrong but, judging by Jasmine's expression, this is something she wants to talk with Aurora alone. She doesn't look comfortable talking about it with me. 

"It's fine," I said, resting my hand in hers. "It seems like there is something really important she needs to discuss with you."
