Meraki Sagepice woke up at the hospital with no memory of who she is or what had transpired. She just remained there, an empty shell of a human.
That is, until a woman in a suit appeared to her and pledged loyalty to her in a blood pact. With that, a sudden and painful bloodlust consumed her entire consciousness. 
Who is she? Who is this woman? And why is the Sagepice family so feared?

Outrun The Truth

"Dead? Didn't you say that she fainted because of a trauma to the head?" Jasmine asked, standing up and staring Rose down.

"Hey, don't blame me. Aurora begged me to report it as that." Rose said, raising her hands up in surrender.

"Are you sure she was dead?" Jasmine asked, "Maybe her heart just stopped for a while. That has happened before."

"Right. But Meraki's heart was ripped out of her ribcage and placed in a jewellery box. It took some searching to find it." Rose scratched the back of her head, recalling the incident. "Aurora brought Daisy the moment they heard of the attack. Once we found the heart, she confirmed that it was, indeed Meraki's and she was definitely dead."

"Why was my heart in a box?" I asked, looking at Rose.

"That's what you're concerned about?" Rose asked, bewildered, "You know that you died right?"
