That is, until a woman in a suit appeared to her and pledged loyalty to her in a blood pact. With that, a sudden and painful bloodlust consumed her entire consciousness. 
Who is she? Who is this woman? And why is the Sagepice family so feared?

"Meraki, do you miss your family?" Jasmine asked, looking like she was about to cry again.

"Pardon?" Was the only word that could come out of my mouth.

"You don't have to put up a strong front, Meraki." Jasmine said, "Please be honest. It must have been so hard right?"

Rose pulled me closer to her, "You always look so dull and very uninterested in life. But it was just because you wanted your family back, right?"

"You always behave so much like an adult." Aurora said, "We didn't take into consideration that you may be just lonely. You are just human after all, and a child none-the-less."

What is going on here, Kefi?

"You're not obligated to fulfil the desire for revenge you have," Aurora said, smiling sadly at me.
