Noa and Elijah (Part 4)

"Alright," Noa said, slightly amused with Kefi's reaction.

"What is it?" She asked, noticing his expression.

"It's just that … you are in a child's body and aren't as intimidating as you should have been." He chuckled, "I feel like I'm being threatened by a bird spirit."

"Don't lump me in with them." Kefi rolled her eyes at him, "They are so annoying, with the little chirps and fluttering wings. And mind you, Meraki is scary."

"That I do not doubt. Just her glare is enough to make my skin crawl but you in her body isn't terrifying." Noa said, turning to Jasmine, "I apologise for leaving you out of the conversation."

"No, it's alright. I like listening." She said, waving her hands in the air. "I need to ask though, this is still part of the restaurant, right?"

"Oh, where are my manners?" Noa shook his head, "Please give me a minute Kefi, we should order something to eat. What would you like?"
