Meraki Sagepice woke up at the hospital with no memory of who she is or what had transpired. She just remained there, an empty shell of a human.
That is, until a woman in a suit appeared to her and pledged loyalty to her in a blood pact. With that, a sudden and painful bloodlust consumed her entire consciousness. 
Who is she? Who is this woman? And why is the Sagepice family so feared?

Outrun The Truth

"Meraki," Kefi said to me as we walked to our room. "What was the point of that visit?"

"Nothing really," I said as we walked up the stairs.

"But you seem to suddenly take an interest in Caris out of nowhere." She continued. "This is so confusing to me."

"It is for me too. I feel a little livelier at the moment." I answered making our way to our room. "I don't know why."

"Maybe you feel a little happy that everything just might be coming together."

"Maybe. But we still barely know anything about anything yet." I said, thinking as passed Aurora's room and Adan came out of it, surprised to see us just getting to our room now.

"Meraki. What are you still doing out here?" He asked, walking to us as he carefully closed the door behind him.

I looked around the hallway and then back at him, "I just came up now."
