That is, until a woman in a suit appeared to her and pledged loyalty to her in a blood pact. With that, a sudden and painful bloodlust consumed her entire consciousness. 
Who is she? Who is this woman? And why is the Sagepice family so feared?

Outrun The Truth

Once Kefi said that I quickly turned to the boy, frowning slightly.

What would he be doing in a house where brutal murders happened and not that long ago either?

The fact that he stole the custard too. What was he trying to do?

He seems to have noticed that I was staring at me and smiled, the dimple on his cheeks deepening. I smiled back, trying to mirror how well he is able to summon a very genuine looking smile in a split second.

Something flashed in his eyes as he ate the rest of his dessert, before standing up.

"Pardon me." He said while everyone was intently listening to Aurora's version of what happened that night and my waking up. Even Mr James seems invested in this story.

Leo and Caris are also listening in intently. They have never heard of what happened, I almost forgot about that.

Jude walked to one of the servants and asked, "Where is the bathroom?"
