That is, until a woman in a suit appeared to her and pledged loyalty to her in a blood pact. With that, a sudden and painful bloodlust consumed her entire consciousness. 
Who is she? Who is this woman? And why is the Sagepice family so feared?

Why are you smiling, Meraki?!

"You are still in there," he said, closing the distance between us as he placed his hands around my face, making me look up at him. "Somewhere."

"Yeah, well, get in line," I said, pulling my face away from his hands. "You aren't the only one that wants the old Meraki back."

"Old Meraki?" he asked, tilting his head to the side. "And who would they be talking about?"

"The person you knew before," I said, furrowing my brows at him. "Don't you want that girl back? That cheery and friendly one?"

He burst into a laugh, "Why would I want her back if she never left?"

He finally stopped laughing and looked me in the eyes, "People are complex, they do not have just one or two personalities. Just because you lost your memories does not mean that you have become something entirely different."
