The arrival

"Tell me again, why am I going along with you?" Eiji said as he followed Kakashi to training ground 7. The famous ninja world location where the greatest legends were created.

Buzzing in response. "Well... Kushina-akuma and Minato-Sensei said it would be good to go somewhere else from time to time."

Although he said that, Kakashi was also curious. After all, Minato had never made such a request before.

Kakashi always suspected the reason behind it. Eiji and Minato didn't get along very well, so most of the time, they avoided conflicts... or they would be defeated by Kushina.

Eiji was always sarcastic, ironic, or just relentless in his responses to his sensei.

Their minds thought differently, the difference being that Eiji would say those things to others directly... while most people would say something formal or political to avoid misunderstandings.

"But why just me? Kiyomi and Guy were there too," he rhetorically asked.

Eiji felt completely upset. Besides having to listen to people badmouthing him because of his father along the way, he had to make a long run to the designated location.

Kakashi just laughed at his brother.

!!!

Suddenly, a kunai was thrown and hit the ground, almost hitting Eiji and Kakashi.

"Heh, look at them," the boy mocked their friends. "They froze the moment the kunai dropped, such cowards." The trio burst into disdainful laughter.

...

"Who threw that?"

"It was me. Just so you know, I am the great Uchiha-sama," the boy exuded arrogance and disdain towards the Hatake brothers.

"Throw your mother next time, and see if she bounces," Eiji retorted bluntly.

°O°

"Pff," Kakashi laughed, his brother's tongue was always sharp.

"What did you say, you bastard?" The boy who threw the kunai exploded. He became even more furious when his friends were also laughing at him.

"Did I stutter? Or are you just deaf?"

Eiji wasn't intimidated at all by this brat. During his school days, it was common to encounter someone loose like him, and Eiji always had the urge to slap people like that.

"Bastard, do you even know who I am? I'm an Uchiha-"

"Yes, but you forget that you're just an extra Uchiha, right? Or are you a Uchiha cannon fodder? I always get confused, sorry if I'm wrong."

"Pfff... hahahahaha." No one could take it anymore and they all burst into laughter.

"You... you..." The boy ran at Eiji with anger, aiming a punch at his stupid face.

In reality, he just wanted to teach a lesson to this clanless boy who was pursuing Kiyomi. Just because he's called a genius, he considers himself special enough to pursue our princess?!

The boy's delusion had gone over 9,000. He was very jealous that he didn't have the qualifications to pursue the princess of the clan.

Eiji grabbed the boy's wrist and gave him an elbow to the ribs, making the boy wriggle in pain. Without waiting for him to recover, Eiji kicked the boy in the stomach with enough force to send him flying back to his "friends."

The fight didn't last even 5 seconds and ended effortlessly.

"Was there a need to hit him so hard?" Kakashi asked. Somehow, he felt sorry for the boy.

"He was unlucky to be my punching bag." Eiji felt much lighter and relaxed after "relieving" his mood.

"Would you two there like to continue our game?" Eiji asked disdainfully, waving his fingers at them as if taunting them.

"Let's go, they're in trouble... Haven't you heard the rumors? Just look at him!" The genin mumbled.

"N-no... Sorry to bother you." Sweat was dripping from his forehead. He knew very well that he was not in a condition to face him.

Quickly, they carried their "friend" and fled as if their lives were in danger.

"They seem to be afraid of us," Kakashi remarked.

"It seems so, but not without reason."

"You should stop hitting everyone who tries to cause trouble." Kakashi was obviously trying to be a saint.

Eiji laughed. "I love a good brawl and street fight. To me, they can come anytime, the more, the better." It reminded him of his school days. It was very rewarding to do that.

"Let's go, we're late now."

□●□●

Soon they arrived at the training ground. Since he became a genin, Eiji had avoided him in every possible way, so he ended up training with Minato.

Besides the fact that the guy wasn't a good teacher, he still managed to waste most of the day doing useless things.

"You finally arrived," a blond Jonin greeted with a smile. "It's rare, Kakashi-Kun, you're usually not late."

"Good to see you, Eiji-kun, did you finally decide to compare him to training with me?"

"I thought I didn't have much choice in this case." Eiji was helpless. He was basically forced to come and train with Kakashi and Minato.

"I understand," he chuckled awkwardly while clapping to get the attention of the two genin. "So, what would you like to learn today?"

Kakashi raised an eyebrow. 'Is he an imposter in place of the sensei?' Then he shook his head and dismissed the idea, but something was off, and it kept bothering him.

He had never done this before.

"Are you going to teach us what we want?" Kakashi looked at his sensei strangely.

Minato chuckled awkwardly; somehow, Kushina said she heard Eiji complaining about his teachings and told her everything, reprimanding him. Soon he reflected on his actions and saw that this was indeed the case, but he was so busy and didn't have time, but not anymore.

He was trying to teach as his teacher had taught him. But there was a big problem with that; he wasn't Jiraiya, and after thinking about it, he realized he was wrong.

Again and again, he was wrong.

His sensei's method was to teach everything slowly, not pushing the limits every day, or sometimes not teaching anything at all. In his time, it was a time of peace.

There was no war breaking out, and conflicts weren't escalating every day. So he decided to radically change his teaching style.

Minato realized that this was hindering and killing Kakashi's growth and genius, and it could even kill him or his war comrades.

Although he didn't quite like the idea, after a long scolding from Kushina, self-reflection, and reflecting on his methods, he finally decided to change.

Before, he taught adversities to Kakashi, ninja situations, precautions, possibilities, philosophies, hobbies (it was necessary because many ninjas self-destructed with this career), tactics, and very rarely, there was a spar.

He then realized that he had also taught practically no ninjutsu to his disciple.

And genjutsus? He had never touched on their teachings except for some theoretical things. Honestly... He felt very embarrassed and guilty to realize what his

teachings had been like over the years.

So, from today on, he decided to change his teachings.

"Yes, anything."

His posture was calm and relaxed, like any other day in Konoha.

"Do you have any jutsu of your own that you can teach us?" After all, Eiji left Minato. Hardly anyone would pass on their jutsus to strangers. Even to their students.

They treated their jutsus as if they were their wives or something, and no one except them should or should know how to use their unique jutsus.

Minato thought for a moment. "Well, for one jutsu..." He then extended his hand, and a ball of blue chakra manifested in his palm.

'Maybe this is too much for-' Minato was stunned and speechless with the things that were happening in front of him.

"How? Do you know... why?"

"That's easy, isn't it, Kakashi?" Eiji smiled at his brother.

"Hm, it's not hard... I expected more."

Both of them had a ball of chakra in their hands too!

'This is the Rasengan; these kids are monsters!' Minato shouted in his mind. It took him 4 years to master this jutsu, and it still wasn't complete! HOW did these two 10-year-olds do it?

His mind was spinning like never before, but he couldn't find an answer.

"Well, I thought it would be interesting to be able to channel raw chakra and launch it at enemies... After all, you don't need to do any seals since it's just chakra..." Eiji taunted Minato.

"Still... How did you learn Rasengan? How long did it take?" Minato was now genuinely upset. He had been called and hailed as a genius.

But in front of these two, he reluctantly admitted to himself that he was a bit jealous. But on the bright side, Konoha will have stronger ninjas in the future.

He was also happy.

Eiji frowned. "Rasengan? No. This is called Reigan." Looking Minato in the eye, Eiji spoke.

"You're wrong, Eiji-kun. This is Rasengan. I created it myself some time ago."

"Reigan."

"Rasengan."

"Reigan."

"Rasengan."

Eiji grew irritated and leaned into Minato and said irritably, "R-E-I-G-A-N."

Minato felt provoked and naturally responded as an adult would. "R-A-S-E-N-G-A-N."

"You're just a kid, Minato-san, arguing with a 9-year-old. I'm way too grown-up for you to argue with."

Minato was left speechless at how shameless and brazen Eiji truly was! Now he was using his age to argue. A vein popped up on Minato's forehead.

"When will you two stop arguing? I want to train," Kakashi said annoyed. He had become a bit more open and bold as he got used to Eiji's company and behavior.

In this life, he was no longer a depressed emo.

The two turned their attention back to Kakashi and shouted in unison, "Shut up, or you die."

He just blinked twice before shrugging and going off to practice alone while the two argued. This had nothing to do with him.

'He always manages to drive Minato-sensei out of his mind, I think he has a talent for that.' That was the only conclusion Kakashi could come up with.

"Hey, brats, how long are you going to argue? That's not cool of you, Minato!" A flamboyant figure arrived after deciding he had seen enough.
