Having enjoyed his stay for a few days, Mew joined Nanami and her familiar to the New year god of the Zodic shrine. Apparently Nanami was to get something from him.
Not really interested in what is was she needed to get, Mew just watched as he saw red tori gates with their names on it. Mew glanced at Akura-oh, who didn't seem that interested in this.
[So, what do these red thingies do?]
Tomoe smirked towards Akura-oh as he started to explain.
"These gates show the last twenty years of our lives until this point. It isn't really hard to pass through them."
"Alright! Let's go!"
Pointing forward, Nanami ran through the gate with her name on it, not even waiting for Tomoe and her other familiar Mizuki to react.
"Really...haah."
Tomoe just sighed as he and Mizuki went through their own gates.
[This looks fun. Once I'm out, I'll look for you. I wonder what your last twenty years were like.]
Taking a lesson from Nanami, Mew didn't wait for Akura-oh to reply and went through his own gate.
As soon as Mew passed through it, he began to see the moments he had spent in different worlds, but what shocked him a bit was when he saw moments before he hatched from his egg.
It was nice to see all the others from the past again, Nagisa-kun, the goddesses Loki and Hephaestus and the pip-squeak green Jedi named Yoda. But he was still a lot more interested in the sight before him now. He was certain he didn't come here before.
After making sure he was invisible to avoid possible trouble, Mew watched as he saw scientists walk around liquid containers. One by one the containers were drained as the days seem the pass at an extremely quick pace until only one remained.
When all the scientists were gone, Mew hovered in front of the tank as he observed what was inside. The creature in the tank looked a lot like himself, though it was a bit bigger and bulkier. Patting with his tiny paw at the glass, Mew couldn't help but feel saddened for it.
[For how long have you been here? It seems lonely...]
Mew continued to watch the creature who felt so much like himself.
{I don't know.}
Not expecting to have gotten a reply Mew began to wonder if he was still in the same world, looking at his past. Not even considering on thinking further on this difficult subject, Mew continued watching his slightly larger counterpart. It was definitely still a baby.
{Who are you?}
[I'm Mew. Who are you?]
Mew could see the baby frown, though its eyes were still closed.
{I don't know.}
Mew tilted his head in confusion.
[You don't know? Then I'll look for your name. It should be here somewhere.]
Mew began to look around the place, seeing others like the baby around him, all having their own small voice. There were a two with purple tails, while one had a pretty green tail. On all of their containers were the words, Mewtwo. They had numbers behind the name, but Mew didn't really care about that.
[You're called Mewtwo.]
{Mewtwo.}
Mewtwo repeated after Mew, followed by the other Mewtwo doing the same.
[What do you want to do now? It seems really bad here. Want to go with me? There is a lot of fun in my place.]
Mew offered as he hovered in front of the tanks.
All the Mewtwo hesitated before they replied the same answer as the rest.
{Yes.}
[Alright! Then I'm a dad, or maybe a mom? I don't know.]
Mew got a bit sidetracked, but he still got the young Mewtwo's out of the containers. The glass broke loudly, as sirens began to whine.
The Mewtwo quickly gathered around Mew as he opened the entrance to the Garden. The Mewtwo quickly hurried inside, just in time for the scientist to see them leaving through the portal.
Feeling a tugging like feeling, Mew giggled at the scientists as he closed the portal and was brought back where he came from, disappearing from the angry scientists sight.
