In the time that Momonga and Mew were moving towards the fighting area of the sixth floor, Momonga began to explain the place they were currently at. He had his misgivings about Mew at first, still has, but to find out if a possible foe was against you, they first needed to get a certain intake on who a person was. So, he formulated a plan to make Mew a possible ally. Especially now that he was in a foreign world.
The guardians might not listen to him, the tomb may be dangerous to him, and a lot of other uncertainties were still hidden in this new world. The most needed thing now were allies that could help him. Without stabbing him in the back that is. So he shared a little about himself.
Who he was before he got to this world, what his occupation was and how the Tomb of Nazarick was created.
Mew listened carefully to the story of Momonga, completely imerged in the story, even shedding a few tears after knowing that Momonga was the only one left who remained in the guild in its last moments, even if it was a game.
So, Mew responded in kind, sharing about the places he had been to, his experiences and even showed Momonga his Garden. It was an understatement to describe how shocked Momonga was at discovering Mew had a personalized realm at his disposal, especially with all the possible allies Mew could ask for help.
It truly was the best choice to make Mew an ally.
Mew could feel the slight fluctuations in Momonga's emotions, but he didn't go further into that, as it was up to Momonga to trust him or not. If he didn't, the Mew would just go away or move on to another world. As an excuse to Arceus he would just say he had been stuck in the portal for a while. Umu, a good excuse if he had to say so himself.
When the two had shared their stories, Momonga's distrust had lessened dramatically. So when they arrived at the Sixth floor amphitheater, it wasn't that surprising when Mew was just booking a ride on Momonga's shoulders.
"If I remember correctly, this floor is guarded by the dark elf twins."
As if on cue, one of the twins appeared. The girl ran towards them with a big smile on her face. She was dressed as a boy and if Mew didn't have any prior experiences with this, he was sure that he would have gotten the gender wrong.
"Aura"
"Welcome, Lord Momonga. Welcome to the floor we guard."
"I will intrude for a while."
"What are you saying Lord Momonga? You are the Lord of the Great Tomb of Nazarick. It's absolute ruler! There is no one that would ever consider you to be intruding."
[Devotion to the max. Where is the other though?]
Mew looked around to search for the other one but could find him.
"Oh wow! I've never seen a creature like that. Can I have it, Lord Momonga?"
Aura's eyes were sparkling when she looked at Mew.
Shivering slightly under the intense eyes, Mew became invisible for the first time in a while.
"Now I want it even more! I can't even sense where it is."
"Aura, contain yourself. It is an ally."
"Yes, Lord Momonga!"
"By the way..."
Momonga looked around, his eyes searching all over the place.
"Mare! You are being rude to Lord Momonga! Get down here already!"
Aura yelled from over her shoulder, already indicating where Mare was hiding.
Mare showed her head, looking down at where the three were standing.
"I-I can't, sis...!"
Mare said with a tremor in her voice.
Mew as the curious and playful creature he was, couldn't help but want to tease the boy.
So he teleported behind Mare and shoved her forward down the edge. While Mare was falling, Mew slowed the descent with psychic power until Mare was safely on the ground.
Taking the form of Hoopa, Mew revealed himself and laughed while yelling:
"Were you entertained?"
Seeing another form of Mew, Momonga couldn't help but facepalm, as Aura was once again captivated.
"Now do something else!"
Aura yelled.
So Mew did.
He scattered hoops all over, moving them about as he made all kinds of things appear. Things like water from the ocean, magma from a volcano, scorching hot sand from the dessert.
Of course Mew wasn't a cheapskate and made all kinds of strange creatures appear as well. Naturally none from his own world, but those that were roaming about in this world. Things like trolls, naga's, goblins and even a couple of wolves.
Aura liked it a lot, starting to fight with the 'weaklings' as she called them, finishing it up as quickly as Mew brought them out. The whole amphitheater was scattered with intestines and corpses by the end of it. Naturally, a few slimes appeared and made the whole place as clean as before, leaving not even a speck of blood behind.
"Were you entertained?"
Calling out the usual catchphrase beloning to this pokemon, he finished his fun.
Giggling, Mew transformed back, once again lounging on Momonga's shoulder.
Momonga seemed a bit spiritless up to the moment that Mew stopped his fun. He was here for a reason and it didn't help one bit with Mew fooling about. The longer he spent with Mew, the more he discovered that Mew was just fooling around and not treating anything seriously. The threat level of Mew had lowered once more.
"Back on track now, shall we."
What followed was Momonga who was explaining that he wanted to test the staff of Ains Ooal Gown.
The results were that Momonga could still use his game skills and magics, as well as know how to gauge how they worked and the time outs of skills.
Then, the guardians arrived in the amphitheater.
How Mew knew?
A big swirling portal appeared in front of his eyes, so the most logical explanation would be that the summoned guardians were arriving.
