Dispatch!

Mira, Givale, and Stars walked together in front of Akiol. Currently Akiol was reviewing what he would need for his trip westward.

The general player base was aware of the other continents, after all some had friends overseas. The lack of transport between continents had angered some even. However as A World's Legacy was a one of a kind game many swallowed this complaint. Many more even quieted down when the developers stated that continent traveling would be something the players had to work for.

There was still a small population of players who were barred from playing with their friends. An unfortunate result, but these players were more enthusiastic with finding ways to cross the continent.

This is to say that resources regarding the foreign continents wasn't nearly as poor as it was back when the party went to the east continent. Akiol's research made him come to a few conclusions. First his money would be useless. This wasn't as surprising considering the east continent had their own money system. Thus Akiol thought that maybe he should bring valuable goods to sell over at the east to cover this, but another bit of info made him hesitate.

Apparently the quality of materials and equipment over at the west continent held a significantly higher quality than the ones of the central continent! For instance Myth Making equipment in the central continent might be considered Legend Creating in the west!

Things that might be considered valuable here might not be worth as much over at the west!

So Akiol was hesitant to try his idea of bringing valuable goods. With his research he couldn't tell what was considered valuable. Instead his preparations required other things. There was food in the scenario that they were teleported somewhere without civilization. Equipment wasn't a concern since every weapon they had were uniquely bound to their wielder. Additionally neither Mira nor Givale wore armor. One was basically impossible to kill while the other was a dragon so her scales provided enough defense.

Akiol rubbed his head as he realized there wasn't much needed for preparation. In his previous world a trip like this would require weeks of planning, rations, spare equipment, survival tools, and so much more. In comparison it feels like he could make the trip with nothing but the items currently on him and he'd be fine.

Was this a testament to how much stronger he had become, or how simple A World's Legacy made traveling?

'Well we are teleporting.', Akiol made an excuse.

Nearby Stars ducked an attack from Givale and laughed. The two started a fight as per normal and Mira was trying fruitlessly to stop them. Akiol removed himself from his thoughts and caught the two troublemakers.

"Behave yourselves please.", Akiol sighed.

Givale made a face and complained, "He started it!"

"I did not! You're the one who's quick to react with violence!", Stars retorted.

A few passing players and NPCs looked towards the commotion. A few felt pity and whispered among themselves, "A father of three? Must be tired."

Akiol heard this and was unsure how to feel about it. It really did appear that way, but did he have to be pitied? Stifling another sigh he chided, "We're about to take a trip west and you're picking fights amongst yourselves. Instead of wasting energy on this can we focus on the trip?"

""Okay"", the two responded simultaneously.

Letting the two go Akiol spotted Stars making a face at Givale before turning away. She felt the urge to smack Stars, but suppressed the urge out of respect for Akiol. Not willing to let the petty action slide Akiol chopped Stars' head. The pain made him hold his head with a displeased look but he made no complaints.

With so little actually needed for the preparations the day was mostly spent bonding. It was mostly for Mira, to allow him to wind down steadily as time progressed. When the day passed he soon received a message from Kan'na.

She didn't confirm anything, rather she just wanted to meet. Akiol had hoped the news was good. If by some reason Kan'na said it was impossible he would have to think of another way. Having Givale fly over there wasn't reasonable, especially not when there was a powerful creature in the ocean stopping anyone from crossing.

Quickly moving to the designated meeting spot Akiol waited patiently. It was only when he felt the ambient mana suddenly shift did he focus. Strangely the mana felt like it was excited. . .

Kan'na gently stepped onto the ground, the magic circles on her body occasionally pulsing. The mana seemed to happily carry her every step, like it was rolling out a carpet.

"I saw you just yesterday.", Akiol was clearly baffled at the change, "What kind of experiment did you do?"

"I modified my body to be a perfect conductor of mana. It works well with my three dimensional magic, and because of it I've ascended to Godhood."

". . ."

Givale pointed a finger, "A Goddess?!"

Mira looked at Givale and back at Kan'na. He tilted his head, "Really?"

"The World decided I was worthy of it.", Kan'na smiled.

Immediately Akiol frowned, "There's this strange subconscious feeling you emit. Be careful."

"I'm looking into how to toggle it. Anyways I've managed to complete your request.", Kan'na opened a hand and three spheres appeared.

With a gentle flick Kan'na had the mana carry it to Akiol. He reached out and picked one up. On close inspection he couldn't help but feel impressed. He could tell there was several tiny runes inscribed onto it, and by the feeling also inside!

"Three dimensional magic, my specialty."

< Unparalleled Dimensional Magician smiles triumphantly! >

"Hmmm, this is a mana crystal?", Akiol had the urge to absorb it.

"I wouldn't recommend absorbing it. I don't know if it will be considered an item or mana for you. Have Givale hold onto them."

Givale immediately raised a hand to accept the spheres before she blinked and frowned. Akiol immediately explained, "It's the presence of a Goddess, you want to follow her words naturally."

Walking up to Kan'na Akiol felt the mana actively push against him, as if telling him to stay away. Regardless he flicked her forehead which made Kan'na do a double take, "I'm sorry?"

Immediately the subconscious effect shattered. Akiol no longer felt the pressure to obey her words.

"By showing you're against a God or Goddess their influence on you is reduced. A trick I learned back in our old world, prevented the Demonic- er, Evil Gods from influencing me."

"It's that simple?"

"It's a barbaric but effective method.", Akiol nodded before shifting the topic, "Now to think our resident mage became a Goddess! What can you do?"

"I'm figuring that out.", Kan'na held a hand to her forehead and made a face, "There's a lot for me to understand and figure out."

Akiol smiled, "To think Six Lights is moving up in the world! Wrock is in seclusion, who knows what he'll become at the end of it. Tilia is making a new set of gear, coupled with her War Sight she might become an entirely different level of tank. Our mage became a Goddess. Yielya is finally putting in effort to become Third Stage. And Jarvis is always finding new creatures."

"I noticed you left yourself out of it."

"I'm not entirely sure what the journey in the west will bring me. What I do know is that at the end of our journey's we're doing a mock match."

To this Kan'na smiled, "Everyone? It's been a while."

"I'm positive Wrock would enjoy a match against a Goddess. Especially if it's you."

"I feel he'd be too enthusiastic about that.", Kan'na was amused at the thought regardless.

Akiol passed the final orb to Givale and she looked at them cautiously, "Where am I to store them?"

"Create a subspace, that way they can't be destroyed. They're expensive to make. I technically still owe Torch a lot for the mana crystals used to make them, I really can't be asking for more.", Kan'na answered.

"I hope you hadn't bothered Torch too much. I've already gone and had his entire mechanical army destroyed. Just one of those big mechs are. . . a price I can't comprehend.", Akiol felt apologetic towards Torch.

"I made sure our exchange was profitable, it's just that I only really paid for the machine. The mana crystals I took afterwards was not. I offered my future assistance with any big project he needs help on though!"

Noticing Givale struggling Kan'na pointed at a certain section of the warping space Givale focusing on. Mana swirled and corrected the subspace and Givale's gaze was filled with sudden understanding. Dropping the spherical orbs into the subspace she closed it and dusted off her hands, "That's handy! I'll use that more often."

"It took me ascending to Godhood to figure out the subspace, she did it first try!", Kan'na shook her head in amazement, "Are you all prepared? I can send you towards the west right now. Unless you need more time."

Givale raised a hand, "We are!"

Akiol confirmed, "You heard her."

A massive magic circle formed underneath the three. Several smaller circles formed a dome around them as Kan'na flicked a few runes into the mix. Examining her work she said, "Alright so the end point is definitely going to be tampered with. There's nothing I can do about that, so instead I'm just shooting you west until it detects land. Then you'll be placed on a beach."

"What if the land it detects is an island?", Akiol suddenly felt concerned.

". . ."

Raising a finger Kan'na formed another magic circle and threw it into the dome, "Okay so this will ensure that the land is big enough before finishing the teleport. This way you won't be stranded on an island in the middle of the ocean."

"Kan'na.", Akiol's voice turned grave, "Did you not test this?"

"You'll be fine! Have fun~!", Kan'na smiled sweetly.

She snapped her fingers and the three were teleported. Faintly she could hear Akiol's voice calling out. Focusing on the sound she suddenly smiled.

"Kan'na!!!", Akiol's voice echoed.

Interlocking her fingers she sensed the direction of the teleport. It traveled a great distance before its direction heavily shifted. As expected the guardian of the ocean interfered with the teleport, but it wasn't too drastic.

"He'll be fine.", Kan'na assured herself, "Now. . . Demonic Gods?"

Falling into thought Kan'na disappeared with a teleport.
