Convincing me

Jennie's POV

I was sitting pretty next to Chaeyoung and Sana, inside our classroom then out of nowhere, I felt a weird feeling that made me shiver, I hugged myself and rubbed my arms and look to my side and saw Chaeyoung's face frowning.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing." She replied shortly without tearing her gaze at the professor.

"Why did Jisoo didn't attend today's class? Did you girls had fight?" I asked. Jisoo told us that she's not going to class for today , she didn't told us her reason but I assumed that she got tired from the fight last night.

"A little." She mumbles and pout.

"Sorry about that, I shouldn't have asked you to come with me that night."

"No Jen, it's not your fault. Jim and his army are such an asshole for trying to kill Lisa last night. We should have killed them if it wasn't for a big war." She said shaking her head.

I wasn't really expecting those men will go that far and stoop so low just to kill Lisa in front of hundred mortals. Thanks God, my power became beyond expectations and I succeed freezing them all just before that Tommy will grab Lisa's head. and I'm thankful, one of her friend saw that coming and she pushed Lisa and after that. I did all the work, if Dad didn't taught me how to use my secret power, it'll going to be a bloody fight in front of Lisa's eyes and that hundred of mortals.

But i was really shocked when Lisa doesn't got affected, she even saw everything and I don't even know why she fainted, maybe it's the side effect, she'll be sober but not too long, just enough to see that the time freeze and she'll get unconscious after. Her friends immediately dragged her out of the ring while were fighting those men, even Sana, who really doesn't know how to fight, she killed fifty vampires last night but she got some scratches on her in exchanged.

I put all the mortals under my spell inside the underground before joining my friends to fight Jim's army. Then Sydney and Bambam soon joined us, I never expected Bambam that he's also a werewolf, it kept me thinking, is everyone around Lisa are all dogs except her parents? I mean, look at Sydney, Bambam and for sure that narrow eyed girl was one of them, is this the reason why Dad really wants me to marry that girl? To gain another ally to? But aren't we're all powerful?

We have lived for hundreds of years and yet, no one has succeeded in defeating my Father as a King, so why now when it's time for me to take his place as the ruler of our kingdom and he suddenly seek out for allies, while I am the strongest vampire.

Are our opponents really strong this time? or maybe he just doesn't really trust me, but that nerd!

I rolled my eyes in that thought and huffed a sigh. "I can literally turn them all into an ashes if I'd like to."

"Yeah, but we need to prevent ourselves to cause a war Jen, the King doesn't want that to happen as much as possible."

"Isn't it all of this ridiculous quest are all because of that upcoming war? There will be war wether we kill Jim or not, and it's better to reduce the enemy before it happen." I suggested but Chaeyoung shook her head in disapproval.

"No Jen, you cannot lead what was written in prophecy."

"Prophecy my ass, does marrying Lisa also written on that?" I remarks and stood up. Chaeyoung and Sana look up to me before our professor.

"Jen, stop making impulsive action!" Chaeyoung scolds and nudge Sana to put our professor under her spell.

"I'm going home, this class is getting boring." I hisses and made my way out of the classroom with a lot of pair of eyes looking at me in confused but I didn't give a single flying fuck about them and just continue walking out. The moment my foot step out, the school bell rang, telling all the mortal that the subject at this hour was done.

I was walking furiously in the hallway with students, looking at me with admiration, I can't blame them, I really am a good catch but sadly, I'm really set to marry the most nerdy girl in the world even if it's against my will. No one, as in no one, can violate what was written in the prophecy because that is a sin and it's really suck!

"Jen wait!" Chaeyoung called but I keep walking and ignore her.

"Excuse me Princess." Sydney suddenly popped out on my side, running her way out.

"What can I expect from a dog except running?" I scoffed. She suddenly stopped and turn to face me with a scowl on her face. "What?!"

"Urgh! You're lucky I'm in a rush or I will bite your head's off." She said before continuing her way out.

"As if you can." I snort and rolled my eyes.

"Why is she in a rush?" Sana asked me, I didn't even notice them walking on my side.

"I don't know, maybe it's time for her treat? Dogs really love treats." I utter indisposed which cause them to gasp.

"Jen! That is so not nice to treat werewolf like a dog!" Chaeyoung scolds with a light slap on my arm.

"And that is so not nice of you to hit your Princess." I retaliates but she just rolled her eyes at me. "Yah!"

"Disrespecting werewolves are more crucially than hitting the Princess's arm or should I say, my friend's arm." She said raggedy before walking away.

"Can you not lashing out to me your anger that supposedly for Jisoo?"

"Speaking of Jisoo, where is she anyway?" Sana asked nonchalantly while looking at the tall girl with raven hair. As if she wasn't bother with me and Rosé bantering in front of her.

I look at her in disbelief and shook my head. "I don't know." I replied and followed Chaeyoung to the cafeteria. Maybe she's hungry that's why she gets irritated easily.

When we got inside the cafeteria, all eyes are on us, some of 'em are whispering to each other, as if we don't have the capable to hear whatever they were saying. We just don't give a fuck but we can hear them, loud and clear. Some of 'em are just admiring us like they just saw goddesses from mt. Olympus.

I sat on one of the table in the corner while Chaeyoung line up to the counter to get us lunch, meanwhile Sana still staring at the tall girl. I notice how her eyes squint while looking at the girl, as if she's reading the girl using her eyes.

"Do you like her?" I asked, causing her to tear her gaze away from the girl.

"Wh– no! Eew!" She disgustingly said.

"Then why are you staring at her like that?" I asked again.

"I kept hearing Lisa's name at her that's why." She shrugs and stare at the girl again.

"And why is that? Why are you so concern, do you like Lisa?" There's a glint of irritation in my voice that I failed to hide. Her gaze went back at me and the corner of her lips slowly curve up to form a smirk. "Remove that, I hate that fucking smirk."

"Why? Jealous?" She teased with an obnoxious laugh.

"Bitch what? There's no way in hell I would feel jealous! What the fuck? I was just asking so I can–."

"Calm down Jen, I was just teasing you." She cut me off and laugh louder. "Justifying your question doesn't make you look not jealous."

"I swear to God Sana, stop teasing me."

"Fine fine, I'll stop." She said while wiping the edge of her eyes. "But kidding aside, I heard Lisa's name multiple times from her, I think she likes Lisa a lot."

"Who?" I asked raising my left brow.

"The girl I've been staring at." She answered and nudge her head on my back. When I look over my shoulder, I saw this tall girl with raven hair looking back at me with her left brow raising and when I copied what she was doing, she rolled her eyes at me.

"Oh no she didn't." I said and was about to stand up but Sana was quick to stopped me. "She squint her eyes at me!" I whispered hardly.

"I saw it, I ain't blind, but you're not planning to kill her just because of that, right?"

"No one dares to rolled their eyes at me!"

"We actually do, me, Jisoo and Chaeyoung. Now stop fuming and sit back, unless, you want to prove that what I'm saying is true." She said and my gaze shifts back to her and creased my forehead, looking at her quizzically. "That you're jealous."

"I'm not."

"Ok." She replied sarcastically.

I sigh exasperatedly and didn't utter another word as I don't want her to tease me more. Chaeyoung got back with a tray of food in her hands, face still frowning.

"I hate Jisoo! I really hate her for ruining everything!" She rants after sitting abruptly beside me. Sana and I exchanged confuse glances and then look back to Chaeyoung, as if we're asking her silently if what happen. "Urgh! I will kill that woman!" She said, instead of answering us and starts shoving spoonful of rice on her mouth.

"I think, I better warn Jisoo about you?" I asked caustically while fishing out the phone from my pocket.

"Yes Jen, please do. Because no matter where she hides, I will going to find her and kill her." Chaeyoung said furiously, veins popping on her neck and temple while clutching the spoon tightly.

"What exactly did she do?" Sana asked softly.

Chaeyoung snort and look at me first before answering Sana's question. "She went to the hospital and she talked to Lisa."

"About what?" I asked curiously.

"Well, I didn't saw it coming. But last night, we were fighting about the fight happen in underground, wherein I almost got killed when Jim had a chance to locked my head, but Jisoo saved me with another man belongs to Jim's army. I guess that's Jun? I just heard that he was called by that name. And then Jisoo talked to me about that, we had an argument about it, you know? Jealousy eats her, then she wants this quest to finish so we can all go back to the kingdom." She said in one breathe.

"What does Lisa have to do with that?" I still asked although, I already have an idea where is this coming.

"That's what I'm fuming about Jen, I saw in my premonition that she asked Lisa to be your wife and she'll help Lisa to cure her mom's illness in return."

I fucking knew it!

"I'm sorry Chaeng, but you were going to be single." I said and stood up. My hands are literally shaking in too much anger, my breathing became ragged and shallow while thinking how to kill Jisoo. I'm actually murdering her inside my mind but it's much better if I did that in real life. "Where is she?" I asked Chaeyoung while smiling sarcastically.

"C-can you p-please not do that t-thing that ran through your mind awhile ago?" Chaeyoung pleaded but my smile fades and I bore my eyes at her with my rest bitch face.

"I will still going to kill her." I said and made my way out of the cafeteria to murder one of my best friend.

LISA's POV

After hearing Jisoo's proposal, I couldn't stopped myself from laughing. I think it's been two hours since Jisoo and I sat on the bench outside of hospital while I'm still in a laughing mess. I can feel my stomach hurts but I couldn't will myself to stopped from bursting into a loud and obnoxious laugh every time I remember what Jisoo said.

"You seriously need to stop Lisa, it's been two hours." She hisses and pushed my shoulder, I fell down from the bench after she pushed me but she was quick to retrieve me from the solid ground. "Shit, sorry!" She apologized while helping me to stand up.

"Do you girls have a membership in a gym? You're strong as fuck!" I said in surprised after remembering how Jennie left a scar on my stomach when she pinched it and now Jisoo pushed me hard causing me to fell on the ground but it seems like she did it effortlessly.

"It's not my problem if you're weedy." She scoffed but still shrugging off the dirt on my pants. "And I want your answer now."

"I thought you were just joking that's why I'm laughing." I said and signaled her to stop from what she was doing and did it on my own. It's awkward that someone is shrugging the dirt off in my pants when I can do it.

She sat back on the bench and crossed her arms. "I'm dead serious Lisa, I can heal your mom but you need to marry Jennie and come with her."

"Are you on drugs? Because honestly, I really hate people using drugs." I said and look at her accusingly.

"How dare you to accuse me with such accusations?!"

"Ok, what? Are you really not–."

"I'm not! Fuck! And I'm telling the truth, I can cure your mom's cancer in just snap of my finger!" She scowled that made me shocked in her sudden outburst. She was just justifying my accusation at her when she's doing that.

How on Earth she can heal my mom? Is she a witch? Is that why she's strong? Is she a fucking fallen angel that can heal everyone? Or she's just really on drugs? I shook my head and stood up before looking down at her.

"There's no way in hell you can heal my mom, no one can until there's a donor, but thanks for making me laugh. That was a good joke Jisoo, but a little advice coming from a neglected friend. Stop using drugs." I said smiling and was about to walk away but she grabbed my hand.

"Wait Lis, I'm begging you. I want to go home, what happen last night was dangerous, my girlfriend almost got killed, so for her safety, I need to get Chaeyoung away from here and I can do that only if you agree to marry Jennie." Jisoo said, there are mix emotions in her eyes. Such as scared, worried, pleading and sincerity. I became more confused as to why she kept forcing me to agree in marrying Jennie all of a sudden.

"Why me? And what do you mean what happen last night? And why did someone wants to kill Chaeyoung? And most of all, what does our marriage have to do with Chaeyoung's safety?" I bombarded her a lot of question. To be honest, she was just adding a lot of question in my mind. And it's not like I already believing what bullshit she's spouting, I just want to know why me? Why not someone else? Isn't it Jennie hates me? So why me?!

"I can't tell you, but if you agreed to me. I promise that I will cure your mom." She said.

I chuckled and shakes my head vigorously, as if I was gone crazy for almost believing her. "Jisoo, I need you to go home and take a rest. You're just tired because of school activities, because if you're going to insist that, I will think that–."

"If you're not going to believe me, then how can you explain my wounds? Aren't you're curious where my bruises are?"

"That was two weeks ago, of course it's not visible–." She cut me off again when she let go of my arm to pull her hair up and show me her forehead.

"Here, look. I supposed to get scar in here because that was a big cut and it needs stitches but I don't have any!" She said frustratingly and grabbed my hands again. "Even Jennie, she supposed to get a scar on her arm because she also had a bigger cut than mine, but you won't get to see any scar –." Jisoo stopped from talking and snapped her head on the other side of the road horrifically. "Holy shit!" She mumbles and shifted back her gaze at me. "Please, consider my condition. I have to go!" She said before running away to the other side.

I was left dumbfounded and staring at the way where she was vanished. What she said regarding to her bruise and scar are really left me speechless. She's right, it never crossed my mind that after that night, I didn't see any scar on Jennie's arm, wherein a large cut that I could almost see her bone inside was nowhere to found. I never notice it because first, I never tried to steal glance at her, second, I always looking down on my feet whenever we had the opportunity to meet in the hallway or wherever it is.

But seeing Jisoo right now and showing me her forehead without scar making me confused as fuck. How come that she doesn't have a scar? Am I hallucinating again? Am I dreaming again? What the fuck is happening?!

"Lisa!" A loud voice call my name, snapping me out from my dazed. "What are you doing here?" Sydney asked as she approached me.

"Syd, can you slap me?"

"What?" She laugh the word's out while looking at me weirdly.

"Am I in some kind of comic book?" I asked emotionless while staring at nothing.

"Lisa, are you ok? What happen? Have you got the result?"

"Am I going to be a good wife of Jennie?"

"What the– Lisa! What are you saying?!" Sydney hold both of my shoulders and turn my body to face her. "What the hell is going on?" She asked, worries are visible on her voice that made me snapped from my reveries. When I look into her eyes, she was really worried at the same time, shocked from what I had said.

"Mom and I are not compatible and I think I'm near to loose my shit." I said looking down on my feet. I really feel down as of this moment and I think I'm going crazy. and that conversation with Jisoo adds up.

"Can I ask you a question?" Sydney asked me softly and I nod as an answer. "Who gave you the idea of marrying Jennie?"

"Jisoo, she was here earlier before you arrived." I answered honestly.

"She's dead for sure." Sydney said while shaking her head. "Let's go home Lis, we need to think of our next plan for your mom's case." She said as she wrapped her arm on my shoulder and hail the first cab that's passing on us.

JENNIE

"What the fuck were you thinking Jisoo Singh?!"

"I'm thinking my girlfriend's safety Ruby Jane!" Jisoo shouted back. We are both breathing audibly because of anger. When we were running after Jisoo, she immediately ran back home and this is how we ended up. Shouting and yelling to each other as I couldn't really hurt her and killing her was the last thing I want to do. "Jen, it's Chaeyoung! Have you seen how scared she is last night for almost dying? If it wasn't for that man named Jun, I probably lose her last night and I can't handle it just in c-case!" She added, her voice cracked at the end and worries are now dominant on her eyes than her anger just awhile ago.

I stared at her for a second before heaving a deep breath and exhales. I can see how worried she was for Chaeyoung, I can't blame her, Chaeyoung was the only family that left on her after Park Leehun tried to steal the crown from my Dad and Jisoo's parents are the ones who's with Dad that night, the fight was huge that Jisoo lost both of her parents and we almost lost her too but Chaeyoung saved her from dying as she fight all of the enemies alone just to saved wounded Jisoo.

"I'm sorry." I said softly and sat down, feeling so helpless. "I'm sorry if you had to go through that, Chu. I'm sorry if our life at risk because of my stubbornness, I'm really sorry but I really can't marry Lisa."

"Jen, I know it's hard but for the sake of the vampires who were hoping at you as their Queen who will save everyone–."

"I'll sacrifice my own happiness?" I cut Jisoo off in sarcastic remarks. "Is that how my life going to be? To please all of you and forget my own happiness?"

"Doesn't mean that when you get married to Lisa you will never be happy, you just have to marry her and continue with your life."

I laugh throatily and shook my head thrice. "You don't understand, marrying someone means she will have the rights to control my life."

"No Jen, it's still up to you if you will let her. You're Jennie Ruby Jane, no one ever dared to tell you what you're supposed to do, right?" Chaeyoung said to pull me out from sulking.

"C'mon Jen, we're not going to fight enemies everyday, our enemies are not diminished, but they are increasing and getting stronger instead." Jisoo said to convince me.

"But Lisa is a woman."

"But cool and swag." Sana chimes in.

"She's weedy."

"But kind hearted." Chaeyoung retaliates.

"She's a nerd."

"But smart." Jisoo retorts.

"She's a dog!"

"We're not still sure about that, not because a lot of werewolf surrounding her that's mean she's one of them, maybe she was kind of but she's going to be a fluffy one in case, you loves fur right?"

"I hate you all." I said defeatedly and sulk on the couch even more, hugging my knees on my chest and buries my face in between.

"You'll be used to it, she's not that bad and really a good catch Jen. I know she will be a good wife to you." Chaeyoung soothes while rubbing my back.

I released a lungful sigh before putting down my knees and look up to Jisoo who is now looking back at me with her eyes hoping.

"How can we convince her to marry me?"
