His Majesty

JENNIE's POV

After dragging Lisa away from her parents because she clings onto them like a fucking toddler who doesn't want to get departed from her mom and Sydne even had to put her in sleep by hitting her nape, we all head to our Kingdom.

Using the private plane that my Dad sent for us to use after he learned that finally, Lisa decided to come with us. He was so happy and excited to see his daughter-in-law, that he keeps reminding me to go home as quickly as possible. That old man is getting on my nerves, I'm her daughter not Lisa for Pete's sake!

"You okay?" Jisoo asked me worriedly. She was sitting beside me because she was worried since I begun being silent after I found out that Lisa can hear my thoughts, wherein no one, as in no one, even my Dad, can hear my thoughts except her.

"I'm not." I honestly admit with a sigh. "How can I be okay if that nerd can hear whatever's running inside my mind, I mean, how did it happen?" I said that I couldn't hide the frustration on my voice.

"Isn't it all of her abilities said on the prophecy? it is also mentioned that she will surpass your abilities and I think it's starting now." I looked at Jisoo in disbelief and chuckled throatily. "What?" She asked.

"You're not helping me, Chu. You're just adding frustrations to me." I scoffed and rolled my eyes at her. She was about to retaliate but I remember that Lisa can hear us with her sharp hearing ability. I quickly covered Jisoo's mouth and fished out my phone and gave her.

She stared on it quizzically and I nod my head at her, as if I was telling her that she should just type everything she wants to say on my phone. And she immediately understands what I'm trying to say.

She removed my hand on her mouth and she tapped my phone hastily before giving it back to me.

"I'm sorry, okay? I was just reminding you about it, how would I know if your obsession with Lisa, had eaten your brain." There's even an evil emoji at the end of her message.

"Shut up! Will you?" I sneered at her and swat her arm before shoving back my phone on my pocket. "I need to talk to my dad about this, and if I had to ask him how to counter Lisa's abilities, I would."

"And what makes you think that he'll teach you?" Jisoo asked me, challengingly.

"I'm her daughter and I'm sure he'll understand why I have to do that." I said dismissively and lean my head on the window and shut my eyes closed to rest my exhausted mind. Lisa really know how to bring out the worst on me. She seems to be using what said on the prophecy to abuse me and my patience.

She hates me, ok fine, it's really fine. But that hatred comes from her mom who abandoned her and she's just lashing it out on me because I'm a vampire.

And because of that, I had the desire to find her mother and to present her abandoned child, which would save the imminent danger of our whole kingdom. And I want her to repent because I am the one who's taking the resentment from Lisa because of her impulsiveness.

Who the hell would think abandoning their child? I couldn't say that my own mom abandoned me as I can still talked to her over the phone, she was just lurking far away from my dad because they had a petty fight that I don't know what's the reason and I don't care either. I grew up without feeling empty with my mom presence, my mom isn't lacking off because I know that she's still here and she still made me feel that I am not an abandoned child.

But Lisa, after her vampire mom left her werewolf Dad who killed himself and even if Lina and Marco treated her like their own child, she still feels empty. She planted the resentment that she had carried for so long and she's taking it all out on me and now I'm thinking of how I can make her fall in love with me if she's full of hatred and she can see her mom in me.

"Jen, we're entering the secret forest."

I snapped out on my deep trance when I heard Jisoo while shrugging my shoulder. I shot my eyes open and sat straight, I cleared my throat and warns all of them to get ready for landing down.

When the wheels of the plane touched the solid ground, I started to feel anxious. And the view outside the window wherein a lot of vampire soldiers and stewards waiting for us, makes my heart to thump loudly inside my ribcage. It's not because I'm afraid to see my Dad after four months, it's about the changes in my life after that quick four months.

I'm getting married with a woman with a dick for fuck sake! How will my constituents accept it? Their princess marrying a woman instead of a man? The one who will takeover the crown and will rule the entire kingdom. I'm not saying that they are homophobic or what, but the fact that they know that I am a straight and never link to any woman in our kingdom, was the one thing that's bothering me.

"This is it." I mumbled when I felt the plane stopped from moving and the door slowly opening up. Jisoo offered her hand and I immediately reached for it. I really need a hand to hold on because my knees aren't being cooperative as I can feel them weakens.

"Relax Jen, you're trembling." Jisoo whispered to me and helped me to stand up.

"I never felt this way before and this is actually sucks!" I groaned before looking over my shoulder to look at the girl who's still sitting, her eyes closed and as if she was recomposing herself by sighing simultaneously.

And when she slowly open her eyes, I immediately looked away and released an exasperated sigh before walking towards the door. At the end of plane stair, all of them lined up with their bodies bending in 90 degrees.

This is my real world, where all vampires pay homage to me and respect me because I'm their princess and soon to be the ruler.

And I hate it. I hate how they're bending their body like that, what if some of them are in pain and forcing themselves to bend their body just to pay respect? And they already know that I hate it, but they still continue doing this ridiculous way to greet me.

I saw three of the vampires carrying a rolled carpet and running towards the end of the stair, I also hate that, I'm maybe their princess but I'd rather to touched the ground and feel the coldness of it than to step on a carpet leading to the car that's waiting for us.

"Stop!" I yelled to stop the vampires from rolling out the carpet. "And all of you, stand straight!" I commands and they all oblige.

"Wow Jen, you really are the princess." Saddy said on my back.

"Werewolves!" One of the vampire shouted and they all alert themselves and was about to attack but my three subordinates blocked their way towards us.

"They are with the princess!" Jisoo shouted but some of them ignore her and still tried to attack the three werewolves behind me. "Stop or y'all get punishment!" Jisoo shouted once again while fighting the vampire soldiers.

"There's a werewolf behind the princess! Protect the princess!" The head commander of the vampire soldiers ordered his men and he's still ignoring Jisoo.

"Yah, Jennie, say something!" Sana shouted while holding back the other vampires and I rolled my eyes before looking for their commander.

"Stop your men, Jonny. These werewolves are not enemies." I said.

Jonny looked at me quizzically but he still motioned his hand to stopped his men from attacking.

"Forgive us, your highness." He apologized and all of them bow their heads.

"Listen, these three werewolves are all my subordinates and don't ever lay a finger at them, I also have mortal with me so you also need to protect her."

"I understand, please excuse our impulsive actions." Jonny said with his firm voice.

"Forget about it, anyway, Jisoo will be the one to drive– I mean, Chaeyoung will drive us to the castle." I said, causing Jisoo to look at me in disbelief. She's a reckless driver and I will never going to forget how she managed to hit our car multiple times that I even had to buy ten same cars.

"Understand."

"And one more thing, I'm with my.." I cleared my throat before proceeding to what I'm going to say. "..with Lisa, my soon to be wife." I said.

Jonny snapped his head to looked at me, his eyes are wide, as if he was really shocked from the news he heard from me, then his gaze shifted on my back. I followed his gaze and my eyes met Lisa's scared eyes.

"Stand beside me, nerd." I command but she disobeyed me and stood frozen on her spot. "Lisa!" I shouted to snapped her out from spacing out.

Lisa blinks her eyes rapidly and gulped before walking towards me in slow pace. I can tell that she was shocked from the sudden attacked from the vampire soldiers.

"What t-the hell was that?" She asked when she stood beside me.

"That is what you called, protecting the princess." I said, air quoting the last the words and starts walking towards the car.

I was about to open the backseat door but Jonny was too fast to beat me for it. He smiled at me and bow his head.

"Welcome back, Princess. I'm glad that nothing's bad happened to you."

"Thank you, Jon." I said smiling back at him and patted his head before hopping inside the car. Besides Chaeyoung, Sana and Jisoo, Jonny was also my friend, he's the vampire soldier's commander and I'm happy to see him as well.

Jonny was about to close the door but Jisoo stopped him. "Wait, Lisa hasn't still inside the car." She said and removed Jonny's hand from the door and called the nerd. "Lisa, hop in!"

"There's another car for–."

"She's Jennie's soon to be wife and the King would not like it if Jennie arrives without Lisa." Jisoo cut Jonny off and smiled at him fakely. There they go again, I really don't know why they couldn't get along together, even though we all grew up together except Sana.

Jisoo hates Jonny from the deepest of her bone and so does Jonny. And if it wasn't for me, these two already beheaded each other long time ago.

"I c-can ride with Sydney." Lisa said and bow her head to Jonny, who formed a smirk and Jisoo frowned.

"Hop in." I said and Lisa halted her step and looked back. "Or I'll break your leg if you take another step."

"You better hop inside this car Lisa, she's not kidding." Jisoo warns her and I can see through the window mirror how Lisa's eyes widened and she ran back and jumped inside the car. Jisoo smiled mockingly to Jonny before she shut the door closed and open the shotgun seat. "Babe, did you see the look on his face? He was really mad!" Jisoo said to Chaeyoung but the latter just shook her head to her girlfriend's crazy antics about pissing off Jonny.

"For the love of God, you really need to stop threatening my life, Jennie." Lisa said when Chaeyoung starts driving.

"And you really need to stop acting stupid." I said flatly and leaned my head at the window and close my eyes. "Do you really need to ride with your friends even if you clearly know that you will be my wife and didn't you hear Jisoo? The King will be mad if he didn't saw you with me."

"It's not really that big of a deal, I was still going to arrive after you, Sydney's car was just literally behind us."

"Ok then, brainy nerd." I said and shot my eyes open, sat straight and crossed my arms. "I just did that so Jisoo would not get embarrassed."

"Exact– wait, what?" Jisoo looked back at me flabbergasted. "Why would you do that? I thought he's also your friend?"

"You think I didn't noticed your belligerent battle with Jonny? You've been like that to him, what did he do to you for you to hate him like that?"

"I don't know, okay? I just.." Jisoo trailed off and sit back straight. "..hate him, don't ask me why because I don't know either."

"Is there any chance that you like him?"

"What the fuck, Lisa?!" Chaeyoung exclaimed and stepped on the break hardly, causing Lisa to fell her face behind Jisoo's seat and I quickly looked away to hide my laughter. She really needs to be strong because in this only instance, she is obviously weak to bumped her face on Jisoo's seat, unlike the three of us who didn't even flinched. "I'm literally sitting here and you're presuming that my girlfriend liked that man?"

"I'm s-sorry! I was just kidding!" Lisa said while rubbing her reddened nose. "B-blood!"

"Shit!" I blurted out and reached for the tissue on the glove boxes and wiped Lisa's blood, dripping out of her nose. "What the hell, Lisa! are you really stupid enough to strike your nose with such force?!" I scolds while keep wiping her blood.

"Chaeyoung suddenly stepped on the break–."

"Stop talking and just look up to stop the bleeding!" I said and hold her forehead and chin to stay her head, leaning back.

"A-ack–."

"I said stop talking!"

"M-my n-ne–!"

"Jennie, you're ripping off her head! Oh my God!" Jisoo yelled and swat my arms away from Lisa's head.

Lisa coughed hardly when I let her go and she was grasping for an air, she grabbed my hand tightly and she continued to cough. She looks like she was loosing her dear life for how red she was and her lips starts turning pale, that's when Chaeyoung climbed out of the car and pulled Sana out of the other car and dragged her towards our car.

"What happened?!" Sana exclaimed when she saw Lisa still coughing.

"Stop asking and do something!" I said panicking while rubbing Lisa's arm. Sana sucked for an air before bending over and cupped Lisa's face. My eyes slowly widening while following Sana's movements. "What do you think you're going to do?!"

"She needs air because her air pipe just got locked!" Sana shouted back and sucked for another amount of oxygen.

"This is bullshit!" I said frustratingly and looked away as I couldn't stand the thought of Sana's lips will be the first one who will touch Lisa's plump lips. I opened the door abruptly and was about to go out but Lisa tightened the grip on my hand, she's retraining me. "Let me go!"

"Sana, stop playing around and just tap Lisa's head." Jisoo said.

I looked back to Sana who's now giggling and tapped Lisa's head one time before running back on the other car. I swear to God, they need to stop making fun at me!

Lisa heaved a deep breath and exhales, she cough for the last time before snapping her head at me with her raging eyes.

"Are you really going to kill me?!"

"I was just trying to stop the bleeding!" I defensed.

"By almost ripping my head's off?!"

"Seriously? I got worried for nothing! I should have let you run out of blood because you're so damn stupid!" I snapped and jerk her hand off of me but she didn't even budge. Her grip starting to feel hurt, her eyes slowly turning dark red and there's a veins popping out from her face. She looks scary, especially with the blood all over her face.

"Lisa!" Sydney suddenly popped out behind Lisa and she cupped Lisa's face. "Look at me Mcklein! Look at me!"

"W-what's going on? What's this heavy feeling?" Jisoo asked. I can feel it too, but I don't know if it's coming from Lisa.

"I didn't see it coming." Chaeyoung said terrified.

"Lisa, c'mon! Look at me, it's me, Sydney! Please, look at me dude!" Sydney keeps shouting while begging her best friend to look at her and my arm is really hurting from Lisa's grip and it's getting tighter and tighter.

"Wait, Syd." I said but Sydney ignores me as she still keep calling Lisa's name and asking her to look at her but Lisa's eyes fixed on me. "Sydney, can you please move?" I said and she still ignores me so I had no choice but to pushed her out of the car. "Just wait!" I shouted when Sydney was about to enter the car again.

Lisa seems loosing her control over her body because of her anger. My other free hand slowly reaching for Lisa's face and when I felt her soft skin, I started stroking it gently while staring directly to her orbs.

"Lisa." I mumbles while keep caressing her face. "Control it, don't let your anger to succumbed you and take over your body." I said softly. "It's okay, love, you just need to calm."

As I keep stroking her face, I felt Lisa loosened her grip on me, her eyes turning back to its natural color which is dark chocolate brown and the veins on her face slowly fading out.

Lisa sucked for an air and clutch her chest. She coughed and after several coughs, she raised her head's up and released a loud sigh.

"What the fuck did just happen?" She asked. "No, don't tell me." She added.

All of us exchanged glances in confusion but chose not to utter any word and just decided to go back on our seat as she doesn't want to know what happen. Sydney looked at me meaningfully before closing the door and Chaeyoung starts driving again.

"What happen to your arm?" Lisa asked again when she noticed the red marks on my arm. I was going to hide it but she stopped me and grabbed my arm. "It's me, right?"

"N-no–."

"There's no point in lying, Jen." She said softly and traced the red mark with her slim fingers, I felt a tingling sensation the way she trails her finger on it. "Sydney already told me about loosing my control over my body because of anger and I'm sorry for hurting you."

"D-don't worry about it, it's just a scratch."

"Yeah right, compared for almost ripping my head's off." She chuckled.

"I was just trying to–."

"Stop the bleeding, yeah. I understand, but you just overdid it for putting too much force."

"I panicked."

"Why tho?" Lisa asked, I was loss for words and just stared at her. I avoid thinking about the real answer because I'm not yet ready to tell her.

"B-because you're stupid." I lied and she chuckled again. She looked up and when our eyes met, I saw the glint of guilt on her eyes, maybe because she hurt me, even though it's not intentionally.

"Can we be more civil to each other? Aren't you getting tired with this beef between us?"

"Isn't it, you hate me because I'm a vampire and you can see in me your mother?" I said and I tried not to express the sadness on my voice.

"But you're going to be my wife and I have no choice but to accept that."

I mentally rolled my eyes and forced my smile to crack out. I took back my hand subtly and cleared my throat to gain myself back. What happened earlier really shocked me and I thank all the Gods up there that Lisa couldn't remember any of it, because if she did, I would wish the ground to open and swallow me than to die in embarrassment because I called her love, jeez! That was really cringed-worthy to hear.

"I'll try, but that doesn't mean that I'll be good to you on your training." I said. Lisa was going to whine as her lower lips starts sticking out to pout but the car stopped from moving and Jisoo immediately climbed out of the car to open the door for me and Lisa.

It's still the same with the plane arrival, all the servants bending their bodies in 90 degrees. The butler offered his hand but Lisa who's going to be the first to go out, didn't reached for it and apologized about it, I raised my left brow when Lisa asked for the butler to move aside and offered her hand, instead.

"C'mon, let's be civil."

"Civil, civil, civil! You keep saying that, why don't you act the way you want? You don't need to pretend that you liked me–."

"I'm not pretending that I liked you, because I don't have to." She cut me off.

"W-what?" My eyes blink three times and stared at her in shocked. "What do you mean?"

"Oh please, don't get me wrong, Jennie. I still hate you, and liking a vampire is the last thing I would do, but for the sake of your kingdom and my parents, I want us to be, at least become friend. Ain't that your intention when you started to approach me before?"

Shit it hurts. She's really oblivious and an asshole! I want to beat the hell out of her but at the same time, I want to pull out this heavy feelings inside me, I want to take my heart out of my chest and slap it onto Lisa's face just for her to know how harsh her words and like a knife, stabbing my heart hundred times.

"Whatever." I said instead and still reach for her hand but I grip it tightly, which makes her to whimper.

"Y-yah, Jennie. You're h-holding my hand a l-little tight?" She said stuttering while writhing but instead of loosening the grip, I hold her more tightly that I felt her knuckles cracking. "J-jen, it h-hurts." She said but she's still smiling.

"Oh, sorry." I said sarcastically and grip it one more time before letting her go. "You hurt me too, so we're even."

"Oh God! Damn!" Lisa hissed and shoot me a dagger look. "If you were hurt by what I said–."

"Bitch, you thought. I don't care about what you had said, this is what I'm talking about." I said and showed her my arm, where the red mark is still visible.

"What happen to you, Lisa?" Sydney asked when she noticed Lisa wincing in pain and keep hissing.

"I think Jennie broke my hand."

All of them looked at me in disbelief, except from Chaeyoung and Jisoo, who heard everything what Lisa said to me.

"Here, let me–."

"No, Sana. Let her feel that pain a little more. She's so stupid." I said before walking out and leave all of them dumbfounded.

The moment I stepped inside the castle, there's this man wearing his wide smile, arms spread out and waiting for me to ran towards him. I smiled back, showing my gummy and I did what he was expecting. I ran towards him, like a kid who saw her Dad waiting for her daughter after school.

He engulfed me into a tightest hug and he kissed the crown of my temple while rubbing my back.

"Where's Lisa?" I shoot up my head and aim for his chin and hit him, he stumbled down on the floor while rubbing her chin. "Aish, you're still not changing, Ruby Jane."

"And I can't believe that you first looked for Lisa instead of saying you miss me, I'm your daughter!" I scoffed and crossed my arms abruptly while pouting.

"Oh, I'm sorry." He said chuckling while pushing up himself from the ground. "I just got excited to see that girl, but Daddy misses you so much, c'mon. Give your old man a hug."

I rolled my eyes but still obliged him. I wrapped my arms on his torso and buries my face on his chest. "Sorry about that, Dad."

"It's ok, sorry too, Daddy made a mistake." He cooed and pulled me again and I snuggle in more. "How's my baby anyway?"

"I'm good, Dad. Just a little headache but I still brought that nerd with me." I answered as we both pulled away from the hug.

"Was she still pretty handsome?"

"Yeah, but kind of stupid and annoying." I snort and looked at the group of women walking in.

"Stupid and annoying huh? I bet she gets on your nerves a lot for you to call her like that."

"Dad, if you only knew." I said while staring at this particular girl, she was roaming her eyes around but still holding her broken hand. Sana didn't really heal her, I really love her. "Dad, can I ask you a favor?" I felt Dad shifted his gaze at me and he nods. "But first, I want you to put that shield on us so Lisa wouldn't hear us." I said and he quickly snapped his fingers, creating a invisible shield around us. This is one of Dad's power, he can build a shield but it's not going to last long because he still didn't fully developed this power of him.

"Tick tock Princess." Dad said to snapped me out from my daze while still staring at Lisa.

"Can you please don't be too kind to that woman and act like what a King supposed to act?"

"What– why?" He asked confusedly.

I turn my face a bit to look up at him. "You're too bubbly for a King and Lisa may not take you seriously if she see you like that, as if you were still a teenager guy."

"Oh I get it, so you want me to be firm in front of her?" He asked and I nodded. "I'll try princess." Dad said and the invisible shield fades out, the same time the other girls arrive in front of us.

The King released a sigh and stood broadly, he glanced at me before shifting back his gaze at Lisa.

My three subordinates gives their greetings by one knees on the floor with their heads bolwed over. Sydney, Happy and Saddy, copied my three friends to pay respect for the King but only Lisa didn't kneel because she was still wandering her gaze around.

"Greetings, to the King of vampires." Sydney greets. "I am Kang Sydney, Lisa's guardian and these are my cousins, Kim Saddy and Park Happy and this gorgeous lady beside me is a mortal and she's Irene Bradley. It's our pleasure to meet you, His Majesty."

I admit, I'm really surprised on how Sydney can greet my Dad like that when she was all rude to me the first time we met even if she know that I'm a princess.

"Welcome to my Kingdom, Sydney, Saddy and Happy and to you, ms. Bradley, Please be at ease here, this will be your new home."

"Thank you, His Majesty." Sydney said before standing on her feet, she looked up to us and grabbed Lisa's collar to stopped the nerd for lurking around. "Lisa, greet the King." She whispered hardly but she never dare to tear her gaze away from my Dad.

"Oh, y-yeah." Lisa fumbles, it's as if she was just snapped out from the real world after spacing out for a moment. She was about to bow her head but she stopped and look up again. "Sup?" She greets and curt a nod on my Dad, making all of us to gasped.

I whipped my head to my Dad and I saw how his jaw clenched, his nail digging on his palm. My eyes slowly widens and I was about to hold his arm but he throws it in the air.

"Yow! Lisa, my buddy! How are you?! Oh my God! You really grew up well! Look at you, you're so pretty!"

All of us slack-jaw while looking at my Dad, the King, the Majesty, who agreed to me that he's not going to be kind to Lisa, but here he is, hugging Lisa while jumping, he even turned the nerd around while scanning her whole body.

"Careful, old man! My hand hurts." Lisa said, if I could just make my eyes widen even more, I would have done it.

My Dad agreed that he would not be kind to Lisa and that nerd, she called my Dad old guy? What the fuck is happening?!

I clenched my eyes, my fist clenched into tight balls, my teeth gritted and when I shot my dark red eyes open, all the doors and windows slammed closed and they all flinched.

"Jillion!" I shouted with full of wrath and Dad quickly hide behind the nerd.
