Strategizing An Attack

Somewhere not far away from where the fight with the Octopus-like creature was going on, a group of people were hiding and whispering in a low voice; secretely watching, from behind the cover of a bush.

"My prince, it seems that this people are struggling, to even sucessfully land a blow. At this rate, it won't take long for the entire team to be killed off by that beast."

"Yes indeed, this team is large, yet it has suffered so much loss from a mere spineless grey octopus.

So sad.

This is just a low level beast, it is not even as strong or as dangerous as that ultimate panther we fought before.

Although it is gigantic it could still be dealt with easily."

prince Idubor had disdained written on his face.

He was obviously disgusted, by the performance of the group of warriors, fighting against that octopus-like creature.

"Yes my prince, if you look carefully you'd notice that the team members have not released their ancestral spirit to fight on their behalf, against that Spineless Grey Octopus, rather they fight by themselves empowered by the spirit"

It was Sally who spoke, he had a puzzled look on his face. As he observed the way and manner the warriors of that team fought against that creature, he was unable to hide his amusement.

"Haha.

Indeed, I've already noticed it.

It seems to me, that this people enjoy being killed or perhaps they have a death wish.

Maybe they just want to use that Grey Octopus as a means to commit suicide and accelerate their goal for death."

"Yes...you could be right my prince, I think they're suicidal." Sally replied unworried.

"Or perhaps they are just plain stupid.

Just take a look at them struggle,

Haha, so hilarious."

"Yes my prince, it is really funny to watch them drop dead like flies, becoming a pulpy meat, of dead bodies and broken bones. Haha so funny."

Over the past few days Sally and the Prince have already began to form a bond; They had a unique kind of relationship, and understanding between themselves.

This was however, mostly due to the efforts of Sally, who was always seeking to grasp the nearest opportunity to flatter the young prince.

"You know what, I'm sure if they fought with their ancestral spirit released, killing this Spineless grey octopus, would be as easy as taking a shit in the river.

I really wonder why they fight using their actual body, putting their own health at risk.

Hmm...

We will have to intervene and save some of them, to interrogate them, and figure out what is the purpose for not releasing their own ancestral spirit to fight in their place instead." The prince said narrowing his eyes.

Now, he was the one looking more perplexed, by what he was witnessing.

"Ok, we'll just stay back and let them suffer more, if they eventually succeed in killing off that Spineless Grey Octopus, we'd go in and make the steal. Alright!?" The prince Idubor, strategized

"Yes my prince" The gang replied in unison to the prince suggestion.

"My prince, take a look at that.

There's a beautiful girl and a boy standing over there. I think they're a part of that team too." One youth suddenly said to the prince, he was squatting at the left side to the prince.

It was Salami who spoke. He stretched out his hand to point out the direction, he was calling the prince's attention to.

"Where?

Oh okay, yeah... I see them now.

Hmm.

True! why are they there, why is he not also fighting with his people.

Do you think he is their leader?

Haha

What a leader, this team is indeed very unique. He just stands aside, while he watches his team members get ruined. Crazy!

So interesting, I must talk to that leader by any means, he is so dark. Haha." The prince Idubor contemplated aloud.

'What! he is their leader? That so crazy.'

everyone in the bush, shouted in shock in their minds.

At this point, after being in a couple of fight with so many forces, while being led by the young prince Idubor, his fellow teammates and cronies, had began to take his word as an absolute right.

Whatever he says couldn't be doubted, and was accepted as truth, willingly or not.

"Oh wait! there is a beautiful girl over there with the guy too." The prince blurted our from shock when he finally saw the beautiful girl standing next to the boy with a shaved head.

"Yes my prince, that's what I said before." Salami quickly chipped in.

Although Salami had seen the beautiful girl, standing with the boy earlier, and had called the prince attention to her, the prince Idubor, until just now, did not notice her.

"Hmm...I see. Haha! I get it now!

He is not actually paying attention to the fight between those warriors and that grey octopus.

Rather he wants to sneakily get out, and escape with the girl.

Haha, so smart!" The prince Idubor praised menacingly. He had a strange look of satisfaction on his face, as he divulged, his detective thoughts, for the notice to the rest of his hidden crew.

'Oh! so he's not actually their leader, rather he's just trying to flee. We shouldn't let him escape, or should we?' Every including Sally and Salami thought to theirselves, when they heard the prince's analysis of the current situation.

"Really, There is no way he could be their leader, he is just too much of a coward. Hehe, trying to run away with a beautiful girl. So funny.

Now, there is no definitely no way we can allow him escape without meeting such a damsel first." Prince Idubor said aloud again, as he continued his trail of spoken thoughts. there was an excitement laced in his tone.

"Hurry up let's introduce ourselves to this combat, and save that beautiful girl from that creature. Haha." He quickly commanded his people.

Now his face, was starting to reveal a derisive grin. He looked at the combat place, with a glint of pure interest reflected in his eyes.

At first they were just going to watch the team suffer a great loss then, they would steal an attack and take whatever spoils they could get from the dead warriors, if they eventually succeeded in killing off that tentacled creature.

Now however, the situation had changed suddenly. Since the discovery of that young bald warrior and the fine girl, standing beside him, 'in need of rescue'.

There was definitely no more time to waste.
