David went back to his dorm and decided to log into the arena. He entered his bracelets gui, and started looking around to see where the arena was. After a few minutes he had looked through the bracelets all functions and found the arena function. He pressed the arena button with the picture of a colliseum and as he pressed it he was no longer in his room.
He was still in his room sitting down and David also knew that since he knew that this was what would happen. David proceeded to look for a match in his current level league. Ten seconds or so later he got a green accept and a red decline button right in front of his face. He looked to the top side if the buttons and saw that the enemy would be level 176, david did the maths and realized that a level 176 would have an average of 400ish stats and he was higher than that and there is no need to even mention his stat multiplier, even if the enemy had some op stat increase from dungeons and shit it wouldn't be enough to fight with him. David accepted and the enemy accepted as they could also earn points on their level league.
David was teleported from the bluish empty area to an arena that was approximately my 100m to 100m, he could see his opponent and he could also see there were people sitting at the sides of the arena in a stadium-like fashion, there was only 3 people watching though. There was a timer going on,

Fight
As the fight noise was heard, David saw his enemy start running towards him. He was faster than what David had anticipated but he was nowhere near enough to be a problem to David. Just as David was about to punch the guy, he realized he was unable to move. When he looked at his opponent, he saw that his opponent had used a skill and was grinning.
David didn't normally use this skill but given the circumstances he decided to try it out. Just as the enemy had thought he would reach the striking distance and win this match easily he felt cold water hit his body with such a force that he was sent flying back more than ten meters, this wasn't you average cold water though, the cold had decreased his stats by a lot. David had used his ability to use elements, water to be more precise. Since he had absorbed a Divine Water core he could add some extra effect to it. He purposefully made the water Cold to the degree it would leave lasting damage, normally one would need mastery over elements to do this but he didn't or anyone who had a cold based water elemental core didn't.
The enemies skill had ended and he was finally able to move, the fight didn't take too long as David was way faster than what the enemy could cope with, in the enemies eyes, David was moving so fast that even a level 200-250 wouldn't be this much of a problem. Davids punch landed on the enemies armor. The enemy knew that his armor was some good shit so he was thinking this won't hurt much but what can I do to fight this kid. A split second later he was shocked. The punch tore through his armor and hit his body, not stopping st his body, the enemies hand had gone all the way through his body. He saw his ho hit critically low points. He jumped back as fast as he could but David was on hot pursuit. The enemy realized that he couldn't win this but he wasn't accepting it, he didn't want to lose to a level 100. He tried to dodge and attack at the same time with his sword but David was faster than him, he failed to dodge nor land an attack.
"Bullshit, I call hacks, report that guy for illegal stet boost"(The Enemy)
5 seconds later he got a pop-up saying that there was no illegal stat increase in the reported players stats. As the stat system was a logarithmic scale, every stat point was less useful than the last, even though David wasn't moving at twice the speed of his enemy, he was moving way faster than the enemy. Which made the enemy think he was hacking in some way.
David had a you won pop-up in front of him that said he had earned 21 points, he looked at the top players points to see that the 100th player had 13207 points, he would have to win 630 matches or so to get into top 100 without losing any matches. Because he choose the option that had give me harder enemies when my placement increases, the fights would get harder as well, but the good part was he would get more points.
David started another matchmaking session and as soon as he hit start he got the accept/deny button, his enemy was of lower level now, a level 139 enemy, he accepted and his enemy did too. They were teleported and this time There was no one watching the match. His enemy was a tall woman with brownish skin, this was the well known amazon woman. His enemy gave off a more powerful vibe than the higher leveled one. As the cooldown was ticking he heard his enemy speak.
"My name is Naopeia, may I learn yours before the fight starts"(Naopeia)
"David, pleasure to meet you"(David)
"Pleasure to meet you too"(Naopeia)
As the timer hit 0, David saw his enemy chant something and there was purple fog around him for a second and then he was teleported into an unknown area. There was nothing as long as the eye could see. David realized this was an illusion but didn't know how to get out. David activated his Magical perception and looked around to see if there was any week points. As soon as he activated the Magical Perception he found many weak points, there were many places where the illusion had energy intakes. David went to one of the areas and punched it. As his punch landed on the walls of the illusion, the whole illusion broke apart. He saw that the amazon woman was wielding two axes that were normally two handed weapons, she was almost on top of him too, if he had spent a few more seconds in there, he would have been cut down by the two weapons. He started making his way towards the amazon woman too. Amazon was known for their brute force fighting techniques and not for their more magical techniques but it was stupid of people to assume they had none.
After getting out of the illusion, the fight was easy for David, he had more power than the amazon and he was faster, the heavy weapons of Naopeia didn't help her much either against such a nimble and fast enemy. David made short work of this amazon and after the fight, he got a friend request. He accepted it, most likely this amazon wanted to fight against him again in the future, David had nothing against this concept so he accepted the request.
David kept on fighting and as he finished his 55th fight he had made a bit more than 2100 points. This was nowhere near enough for his quest, the quest didn't say he had to get it starting from this month, but this wouldn't hold David back from trying. With his 2100 he only got into the top 100k, it was expected, more than a million people joined these leagues every month, everyone was fighting frantically in these arenas for the monthly prize.
The monthly prize differed every month but every other random month, they would give out millions of gold worth of stuff to all the different level leagues. David was wondering how they made such money right after his match, when he heard an announcement from the bracelet.
"You have unlocked the ability to sell the seats in your colliseum. There are three different ways you can upgrade
Your colliseum.
1. Number of seats
2. Tax Percentage of the College
3. Vividity of Your Matches to the People Watching
Do note that colliseum for both fighters will be used in every fight"
David had been answered as he was thinking. This made so mich sense, even the lowest percentage of tax, the college would take would be 1% and that meant if 1million people used these places to earn 100 gold, the colliseum would earn 1 million gold. They were earning at least 30 million from this arena and they were investing maybe half of it back to the arenas prizes.
David looked at the prices for the upgrades, the maximum no of seats would take about 100k, lowest tax would take about 50k and the vividity would take more than 10m to max.
David didn't even think about vividity for the moment and decided to max out the first two. Every fight would earn him 500-600 gold as a lot of people already wanted to watch him but the seats weren't filled to the brim. David was wondering how he could get extra viewers when he was met with an ad that said, would you like to place your own ads for whatever reason, come to the ads for days and leave with many followers.
