Bonding with ?

Destroyed his opponent's ability to see, Wei Sha yanked himself towards the top of her head.

Feet against her hair, he saw no reason not to stomp his legs against her skull.

So he jumped, coming down with straight legs, creating a dent on her skull every time he did so. And, as he directed his kicks on the same spot, he could notice her skull bone begin to mush.

'Wow!' In the middle of a jump, her giant-sized arm swept the top of her head, almost swatting him like a fly him in the process.

'Time to leave.' For his liking, her strike had been too close.

To begin his withdrawal, he grabbed a handful of hair he would use as rope.

Then plunged straight down her back, though he soon changed course to loop around her. He did this to confuse his enemy who appeared not too familiar with fighting small opponents.

'Most likely, the young her hadn't met anyone outside the Second Layer.' Wei Sha reasoned an answer that he would use to his advantage. If victory needed him to play dirty, he wouldn't think a second not to utilise every trick he had.

With his trick in play, he achieved what he wanted. The giant wasn't sure in which direction he had fled.

However, before he could ambush his blind opponent, the female giant brought herself to a half kneel.

"Stupid, puny demon," she muttered with a sour tone.

'Heh,' Wei Sha laughed in his mind. This time her ploy was obvious, and he saw right through it. 'Well, if you insist.'

Wei Sha suspended movement. "Puny? Says the one whose too big." Then dashed ten meters away from the spot.

Sure enough, in that instant where he spoke, her hand and the mace she had been hiding behind her massive body swung in an arch.

The mace arriving in an overhead swing cracked the floor in half, sending what dust and pieces were left of the tiles scattering.

"You have to think something better," he taunted as he changed his spot before she would react.

At this point, Wei Sha, in his heart, felt he had secured a victory. However, his mind was warning him not to repeat the mistake of underestimating her.

'Better to play it safe,' he went with his mind, and so sneaked away from the giant doing her own thing.

In one of the corners, Wei Sha watched his opponent wander around the room without a destination, swinging her mace from time to time.

'Any minute now.' Wei Sha looked at her severed arm and the cut he had inflicted. 'Any minute now.' Soon she would fall to blood loss, and he would claim his prize. There was zero need for him to do more than keep his eyes on her.

Despite knowing this, Wei Sha's base instincts of a demon were beckoning him to fight for the heck of it.

'Should I. . .' Wei Sha took a step forwards. 'No.' He shook his head and clanked it with a fist.

Still, the notion of battle lured him, called out to him with promises of a good fight and greatness.

'I'm not a common demon. I'm not dumb. I'm not going to fight her anymore.' His mind tried to steer him away from the idea.

The voice in his head kept calling.

To counter the want, Wei Sha began to walk around in a circle, punching the air. Doing this was his attempt to soothe his fighting instinct.

His mind and most of his body focussed on the dry practice, yet his ears kept picking the sound of a battle her mace swinging produced. Her taunts, stomps, and screams didn't help much either.

'Jab, jab, wide swing, jab, knee.' He attempted to engross himself in his practice.

"Hey, you know." The giant tried to garner his attention like she had many times before, but Wei Sha didn't bite. "Your mother would be ashamed of you!"

When she spoke those words, and his ears caught them, Wei Sha halted his dry practice in an instant.

His head spun around, and he took strides towards her.

Wei Sha opened his mouth to shout back.

'Think Wei Sha! Think!' His mind seized control from the base instinct.

But it wasn't so for long. "I dare you to say that again!" Wei Sha shouted and continued his strides.

Not caring about his opponent's sly smile, Wei Sha's strides turned into a charge.

"C'mon say it,' he dared. "I dare you." His charge ended as he leapt towards her face.

"Your mother--" Her words were cut short by Wei Sha, punching through her upper lip.

"I dare you!" Wei Sha's blows broke her teeth to pieces. "I dare you!"

Wei Sha sensed them falling, yet continued to fall with her. How else could he keep on punching her face?

She spat out pieces of bone with blood, coating Wei Sha in that muck. Though he didn't care, he would end this giant bitch for uttering such words.

Wei Sha crammed his body into her mouth just to clutch his hands on her uvula.

"Dare!" he roared as he ripped the bag of meat out of her mouth.

With a thump, the giant fell on her back.

There was no breath coming from her mouth, but Wei Sha in his rage still proceeded to attack her face.

[Sto-p]

Wei Sha did not. Instead, he pummelled and ripped every tooth in her mouth, while Lin Siniang tried to halt him with words.

His hurling of dares and continuous attacks didn't stop before her mouth resembled a piece of meat fought over by a starving pack of Dark Hounds.

When so, Wei Sha gasping for air loosened his grip and stared at Lin Siniang.

[Test one hundred, pass]

Wei Sha swept a hand over his victorious smile. His attempt was to clean it, yet his stained sleeve only served to stain his bloodied face more.

"Good." With those words spoken, the floodgates of pain kept closed until now opened.

The pain flooding in brought him to his knees.

From there to his ass.

And finally, he lied -- his feet and back along the giant's throat.

Still, while his material vessel reduced to almost a state of non-activity, his mind rejoiced.

'Mother, I'm getting closer.' Even the chance of this bringing him closer to his goal made it worth the losses he had suffered.

[Le-t us be-gin t-he bon-ding pr-cess]

Wei Sha opened his mouth, muttering something as a response.

[Oka-y, tak-e yo-r ti-me]

Request given, Wei Sha planted a thought to the very last corner of his head. He did this because he feared Lin Siniang from the bottom of his heart.

'Do not trust her,' he planted the seed, hoping if a time came, he would be struck by this message.

"Begin." Wei Sha might fear her; however, he needed the power, information, and experience she would now lend to him as his bonded being.

Lin Siniang didn't speak more as she eagerly entered Wei Sha's opened soul space.

The bonding procedure itself passed without a hitch.

Just like Wei Sha had expected, Lin Siniang worked with him to ensure it succeeded.

A whole new feeling opened to him, Wei Sha explored it for a bit before calling her out.

"Rise," he called.

[So you are my new host?]

Wei Sha's head, which had so far relaxed against his opponent's adam's apple, shot up.

"Who are you?" he made the obvious question.

[Lin Siniang]

Wei Sha, squinting his eyes didn't bite.

[Lin Siniang, proper] She must have seen him for she corrected herself.

"Explain." He didn't ask but ordered his bonded being.

[Those are some big words for a--]

Wei Sha's confused expression turned to a threatening one. "Explain," he repeated.

[To keep this amount of appearance] Her bright yellow-hands went over her slim curves. [And this amount of personality] She pointed at her flawless head. [I'm drawing energy from you]

"What!" Wei Sha blurted out. "You are stealing my power to keep up superfluous appearances!?" What kind of shitty bonded being was she?

[Let me explain] she said, appearing confident in the face of his rage.

"Are you, or are you not affecting me in any negative way?" Wei Sha felt his body reinvigorated with anger enough to get himself into a sitting position.

This time she took a second to respond with a meandering admission.

"Then stop it!" Wei Sha would have none of this. Martial prowess was 'the thing' for any self-respecting demon, and so he couldn't spend it to enhance her appearance, which for he cared not!

Lin Siniang sighed before speaking, [Let me explain]

"Let me explain," he said, mimicking her half-assed tone. "You haven't even used the proper term to address me!"

"I will not call you 'lord', she shot back with the same ferocity." As in that case, you might as well call me the Supreme Matriarch of Hell for all I care.

This response didn't sit well with him, though her latter sentence made Wei Sha derail off the topic by asking, "Who are you? Who are the previous owners?" Now that he was in charge, he wanted answers to these questions, as who she was and what her origins were fascinated him a lot.

[Heh] she snickered as a smile grew on her v-shaped head. [You know Hell's origin tale?]

"Of course," Wei Sha responded. "Who wouldn't know that legendary tale?" In his youth, Li Li had told him the tale in question too many times to count.
