"Treasure Pavilions follows a first come first serve basis. Even if you have the owner card, if there are no rooms, you could only go to the ground floor. This is why managers of auction houses placed in minor cities were told to leave 1 VIP room open in case of a higher card bearer attending. Those that are placed in capitals have no reservations."
"Each cards have something on them that activates when the true owner holds it. This was why when we went to Yan City's Branch, the manager saw the card and quickly found out about my identity. Also, this 'something' helps on making sure that the card is not a fake."
Mu Yue wondered what the thing was and Xiao Yan pointed on a crystal part of the card.
"This crystal shines when the owner holds the card, like now. The light is not that bright but enough to see a difference between a card that is hold by a thief and a card that is hold by the true owner."
"The crystal have to be binded by dropping the blood of the true owner on it. It then gives of spiritual energy that is the same of of the owner's constantly. If the owner dies, the crystal will self-destruct. The card was built in a way that it will also be destroyed if the crystal disappeared."
Mu Yue then mumbled, "I thought you were only a part of a rich family, but not that rich that your family owned a part of Treasure Pavilion. How will I reach your level?"
"You will never reach it, Mu Yue." Xiao Yan said bluntly while smiling.
Finally, after chatting for a long time, the auction will now start. There were a total of 50 different items. However, what truly attracts the people are the top 10 items. These items, when placed in a normal auction, could easily take the top spot.
"Welcome to our grand auction this year. As the first item, we have a Limb Regeneration Pill. As the name suggests, consuming this would let you regenerate a lost limb. A little reminder, it will not help on those people who were born with a missing limb. One pill can only regenerate one limb. Starting price of 3 000 gold with increments not lower than 100 gold."

The first item made Mu Yue excited. She thought that because of having this expensive pill at the start, there would be more rare stuff to be auctioned. Her guess was correct but the items suitable for her haven't appeared yet and it was now halfway through the action.
The items now cost 10 000 gold in average and she only have 35 000 gold. She was just hoping for high quality Yin items to absorb. She very much want something like a Moonlight Tear, even those that are lower quality as long as it helps on her constitution.
She doesn't need items that improve her cultivation level as she was not in a rush to improve it.
"For the next item, we have a defensive equipment in the form of a hair clip. It is made of Ethereal Gem Stone and rare metals. This is an item that can defend it's user from a high damaging attack of a Soul Formation Cultivator. It can also decrease the damage of a Celestial's attack."

Xiao Yan placed a bid. The other people did not dare to compete against someone who is staying in a VIP room. As for those in the other rooms, they were saving their gold for the last 10 items.
With no competitors, Xiao Yan won and received the item after a while. In truth, she doesn't care about it's defensive properties and only bought it because of it's appearance.
She then faced Mu Yue and placed it on her hair. The accessory is in the shape of a crescent moon. There were also three small gems in the shape of tears with pointed ends, connected on one side (the side that should be part of the circumference if it's a whole circle).
"It looks good on you, Mu Yue!"
Mu Yue touched the accessory. "This is expensive…"
"No worries, I don't lack money anyway. Besides, it can be considered a gift from a lover."
"If you put it like that, then I guess I should also give a gift to you."
"I'll be waiting for it. Also, as long as it's from you, I don't mind if its expensive or not. The most important thing is that you spent time on the gift you will give me, Mu Yue."
