"Attacks can contain bloodlust or killing intents. They can be felt by experienced individuals. That is why they can easily be dodged, or 'seen'."
Mu Yue then asked, "Would erasing the bloodlust or killing intent make it so that the attack will not be sensed?"
"That is normally the case but there are times that an individual is sensitive to things that can cause danger to themselves. This is the reason why I am training you. This ability can be acquired by talent or hard work." Zhi Li explained.
Zhi Li's way of training can be summarized as 'You will get used to it'. For the first part of their training, he attacks Mu Yue in different directions. There was no killing intent nor bloodlust which made the attacks even harder to sense. He also made sure that sounds will not reveal his attacks.
"If you learn how to deal with my attacks, then you should not have any problems with the others. This might take a while so when I see that you have improved to a certain degree, I will change the training to something that you are likely to encounter when you are outside."
With this kind of training, Mu Yue guessed, "Father, are you an assassin?"
"Why did you come up with that?"
"The training consist of sneaky things. Assassins are sneaky."
"Haha, close but no. I cannot tell you as some secrets are meant to remain as one, even to family members."
"The more I gain knowledge, the more secrets I find that I cannot know. I don't like this..."
"You might be able to know them at the right time. Focus on the present, we are in a fight, concentrate." The principal then sent a kick that was quickly dodged by Mu Yue.
Mu Yue was happy and asked, "Did I do wel-"
Then she was sent flying...
Zhi Li scolded, "Don't let down your guard. Always be on alert as that can cause your death if you do that in a real fight."
Mu Yue recovered and stayed silent. She has to follow what her father says, they were logical and useful. It was time for her to treat the training as a real combat scenario, it seems that's what her father wants.
The training continued, Mu Yue thought she will have the time to actually rest. However, she was only given time to recover through cultivation.
"Most of the time, it is best to recover as fast as possible, hence one should cultivate to recover energy after a fight. If you have recovered and there is still time, that is when an individual can take an actual rest. Remember this, the outside world is unforgiving. Be at your strongest every moment, tragedies happen when one is unprepared."
"Yes, father."
"Of course, one should also take an actual rest when it's possible. It will be on your judgment on how you will manage your time. We have plenty of days remaining to discuss this. Learn well."
The training lasted just before the sun sets down. Zhi Li will have Mu Yue train from morning until the afternoon. She still had to cultivate at night and missing it will heavily reduce her cultivation speed.
"Than you for the training, father."
"No problem, it's good that you weren't knocked out. You can now use the rest of the time doing what you want, at least just for this night. If I remember correctly, tomorrow's night will be the night you can start cultivating, right?"
"Yes, father. That would be for two weeks."
"After those two weeks, you might have to spend some of the next nights on training. Last time, I suggested that you should train on controlling your ice at night as it's the time you are at your strongest. It's up to you on how many nights you will use. I am not that cruel to reduce the time you can spend on being together with Xiao Yan. Although, I'm sure she will not let that happen."
For this next half a year, Mu Yue will mostly be doing her training. Only a day per week will be her free time, the rest will be spent on improving herself. Even the nights were not spared. She wondered how her father convinced Xiao Yan.
