Mu Yue, an orphan who stumbled upon an inheritance, walked the path of cultivation to get strong. To see her teacher in person and perhaps find her family.

That is until she met her. Mu Yue's priority was now her. Spending time with her is the greatest happiness she receives. Being together always was her wish... whatever it takes.

And so a promise was made, 

"Let us grow strong, stronger than anyone else. Us two on the peak that no one will reach. It will be our place where we can spend our time together."

In the real world, a beautiful woman was staring at Mu Yue's body. The nearby guards were currently kneeling. They were too afraid to move and attract the attention of this woman.


Looking at the red aura coming out of Mu Yue's body, the woman frowned, "Still not enough."


Back to the illusion world. Mu Yue suddenly was able to stand. The man has already stopped stabbing her when he noticed her moving.


Mu Yue did not know what made her able to stand but she does not care. She will kill this man who caused her so much pain.


With her dominant arm slashed off, killing the man with a sword cannot be done. But this will not stop her.


From where she was standing, Ice was created that attacked the man. It was different from the usual ice she created as it was red in color.


The man kept dodging but the ice just keeps on appearing. The entire ground on the area was already covered in ice. This made it possible for the Ice spikes to appear everywhere which eventually caught the man.


Multiple ice spikes kept stabbing the man but it never stopped until Mu Yue can no longer see the body of the man. As for the others, each of them was already pierced by the ice spikes she created.


Her body froze from too much usage of her ice ability. She collapsed and lost consciousness.


The woman that was staring at Mu Yue's body in the real world seems to not yet be contented.


Mu Yue's body was cold that it froze some of the bloody water in the lake. The woman was surprised when it happened but her goal has not been achieved yet.


Mu Yue opened her eyes and saw someone who she was longing to see. "Xiao Yan!"


Mu Yue hugged Xiao Yan while crying, "It was painful, too painful."


Xiao Yan hugged back and comforted Mu Yue, "Now calm down, it was probably just a dream."


Mu Yue looked around and saw that they were in a familiar place. It was their bedroom in their house at school.


Mu Yue gave the details of what happened. From going on a date to being tortured and killing those people.


"Well, rest for a while. I'll be beside you. Don't worry, I will never let anything bad happen to you."


The two did not sleep as they are just lying on the bed, hugging each other.


Xiao Yan suddenly suggested, "Do you want me to talk to your father?"


"About going out of school for a year alone. Tomorrow will be the last day you will be here as the next day, it will be the time for you to leave."


Mu Yue thought about it. She does not want to go but at the same time, she wants to go out to become stronger. Although the dream was bad, maybe it will not happen?


"Is it because you want to be stronger?" Xiao Yan interrupted.


"Mhm, if I stay here, I will grow too slow. Besides, I'm always too dependent on you."


"I know that as we already kinda talked about this. But, if it cost you your life, I would rather lock you up. You know that right?"


"And that's all you and I need to know. Tomorrow I will talk to him. Not that I don't trust you to survive if you go alone but you are really still too weak. I'll let you if you grow stronger but not like this that even in this place, you are still not safe."


A Dream?
