The Sudden Attack!

The little slime was looking the sun rise as the breeze of the cold win comes crashing onto him. It was a great view when he noticed something was off in the distance

"Hey Tanuki, can you come here?" Lag shouted at the little slime as he waved his hand as the little slime tried to look once more and turned towards Lag.

The little slime jumped out of the roof and landed on Lag's shoulder, "Is something wrong?" Lag asked as he knew something was off but the little slime was still silent as something in his mind was making an alarm.

"Wait here." The little slime said as he jumped off and formed his body into the Ballistic Bird as he went flying off into the direction where the little slime felt off.

The little slime didn't notice but the Ballistic Eagle form he was in was so fast that in just a couple of seconds, he was already hundreds of meters from the village, reaching the location of the disturbance.

That's when the little slime saw movements and upon greater inspection, he saw it — Humans. They were bringing swords and spears and three of those bulky Brutes in their sides.

"I have to tell the Chief." The little slime turned around as something hit him. As something caused for his flight to disappear — causing him to fall for meters until he dropped as he felt his core damaged.

"Arrghh!!" The little slime felt real pain for the first time as he subconsciously transformed back into slime form.

He was stuck in an orange net as it kept him from transforming, "Is this magic?" he muttered as someone came out of the woods. A fat man, similar to the one that the little slime previously killed, came out.

"So this is the bastard that killed my son." The fat man muttered as the slime felt extreme shock throughout his body, "Don't you dare move or you'll end up roasted liquid." The fat man proclaimed as he got closer.

"Is roasted liquid even a wor—Aarrggh!!" The little slime ended up closing his mouth as the shock became stronger.

"I said, don't move!" The fat man ended up shouting as he grabbed the net, totally unaffecting him as he swayed it over and over.

Another came out from the woods with brown-robed and a more clear beard, "Is it ready, sir?" The robed-man asked as the fat man nodded as he turned his back.

[Lizardman]

"You- I know you!" The little slime shouted as the robed-man tilted his head towards the slime, "Take it easy..." He said as he took out the hood that covered his face and smiled with his ruggedy old beard, "benefactor."

The little slime started to turn red, "Croc, you traitor—gaaghh!" he shouted as the movement shocked the little slime one last time, causing him to faint.

*Don't leave anyone alive!*

*Even the kid— all of them!*

*Ki— all of th—*

...

The little slime laid in the ground at ease as noises came out to his mind, "Don't bother me, will ya?" He muttered as he turned around.

It was until he smelled the scent of smoke, "Fire?" He muttered as everything came back to him. The Humans, the soldiers, "Croc!" He mumbled as he instantly opened his eyes.

He suddenly felt a stronger sense of heat as he turned around, "Where is the... fire." His sudden shock gradually turned into a deep despair as the fire was located at the direction of the village.

He just stood there like a mannequin as the voices of the past came back, "It's too expensive! He's been here for years and he has no signs of recovering, why can't you understand—"

As an ash came out from the air, hurting the little slime a little, causing him to snap back, "No, the villagers!" He shouted and ran crying until he dived underground, to the direction of the village.

Even if he only had a short time there, it was the first place he enjoyed and it was the first place it belonged.

For the little slime, it wasn't just a village—it was his home.

All the kids, the barons, and the chief, "Please be alive!"

...

The little slime stood by the entrance as the blaze of the fire reflected from his eyes.

It was the first time, not from this world but the two worlds combined. This was the first time he experienced pain so deep, so painful, that it broke his soul in two.

This isn't just pain—this is true despair.

It was at this moment that the little slime's tears evaporated and the heat turned into anger.

The little slime entered the fiery village even with the dancing flames, he was desperate to see life, "Just one, let me save at least one!" He shouted as he turned left and right, touching and falling into fire.

Yet it didn't matter, he felt no pain. He was a slime that felt no suffering, as long as his core doesn't get hurt. Still, his liquid-ish body started to melt but he didn't care a soul.

He went to the town hall, to see the inferno rapidly destroying the building.

That's where he stopped as he saw the body of the Chief, roasted and dead. That's where the little slime stopped as his mind as a human broke, "Avenge."

Looking at his expression— it was complete anger.
