First Quest

I walk towards Adventure Guild in the morning and see a few adventurer already look at quest board.

I see a familiar person standing in front of quest board. I called him immediately

"Good morning mr Aaron." I greet mr Aaron

"Huh.. Rudeus..!! You are here ?" mr Aaron quite shock to see me.

"Yes, I just become adventurer yesterday. I want to take a quest" (Rudeus)

"Huh.." mr Aaron look at my plate and said "You become adventurer and receive a gold plate ? Seems like it is only a few months ago that we first met but now you already become a gold plate adventurer."

"Hahaha.. quite lucky right" I scratch my head

"Sigh... well do you want to meet others ? I think they will surprise to see you." (Aaron)

"Sure. Where are they ? I'm not see them inside the adventure guild" (Rudeus)

"Haha.. they are not here yet. They will be here in a few minutes. So are you gonna take a solo quest ?" (Aaron)

"I don't know yet. I will check it first" (Rudeus)

Mr Aaron told me a few things about the quest. Then Mr Aaron turn around and said "Ah.. they are here. Let's go meet them"

We walk towards them and I said "Hello everyone, its is nice to meet you all again"

"Huh.. Rudeus ? Why you are here ?" (Klautz)

"Haha.. I just become adventurer yesterday and now I want to take a quest" (Rudeus)

"Wow.. you become adventurer huh. Awesome" (Klautz)

Then we sit and talk each other

"Leader, do you already pick our quest for today ?" (Klautz)

"Not yet. Oh right Rudeus, this is your first time doing adventurer quest right. So how about you make party with us this one time. Maybe it can help you better" (Aaron)

"Really ? Thank you" (Rudeus)

"That's a good idea. We never thought that you already become stronger than us in just a few months." (Klautz)

"Hmm.. Rudeus, what kind of role do you want ?" (Aaron)

"Well I have body battle skill, so I guess I can become a vanguard and damage dealer" (Rudeus)

"Alright then. I think it's better you become vanguard. After all our team only have one vanguard" (Aaron)

"Sure" (Rudeus)

I follow mr Aaron to see hat kind of quest mr Aaron pick for us. After mr Aaron pick the quest me and mr Aaron walk towards miss Karen

"Miss Karen we will take this quest. I want to register Rudeus as our temporally member." (Aaron)

Miss Karen look at me and said "Sure. Give me your party plate and give me your plate and drop your blood to this crystal first Rudeus"

Miss Karen process everything and said "Alright Grey Deer Party and Rudeus will take herb gathering in Ruin Wasteland. Here your plate"

All of us left adventure guild and begin our quest. We arrive in Star Forest inner region in just a few hours. I walk in front with mr Zegar as a vanguard. We meet a Black Horned Beast and all of them quite shock to see I can handle the beast easily

"I will block first" (Zegar)

"Roar !! Roar !!" the bear charge at us

"Shield Overcharge.. Boom..!!"

Mr Zegar hold the bear very well and the other begin to attack it. But because mr Zegar already hold the bear I don't know what I'm gonna do and I afraid to disturb their combination so I just watch.

"Sword Cleave.. Bamm..!!"

"Piercing Arrow.. Puchi..!!"

"Bamm.. Boom.."

Everyone attack the bear aggressively and the bear become enrage. The Black Horned Bear escape from mr Zegar and charge everyone in the back.

"Sh*t. Be careful" shout mr Zegar

Everyone move and back off. The bear already charge and aim and miss Lidya.

"Lidya" shout mr Aaron

When I see that, I cut the bear charge and arrive in front of miss Lydia.

"Roar !! Roar !!" the bear is not stopping

"Rudeus watch out" (Klautz)

I just stand and let the bear charge on me

"Boom..!!"

I stop the bear charge easily. I'm not even move a bit. The bear try to overpower me but it can't do nothing.

"Roar !!"

I make a fist and I punch the bear "Soaring Tiger Fist.. BOOM..!!"

The Black Horned Bear fly over 5 meter and almost can't get up anymore

"Roar !!"

Everyone see it make a drop jaw and mr Klautz said "What the...??"

I look at everyone and said "Are we not gonna kill it ?"

Then mr Aaron look at the bear and suddenly said "Attack..!!"

"Bamm.. Boom.. Boom..."

In less than two minutes the bear is died and everyone collect the material from the Black Horned Bear.

We continue our travel to Ruin Wasteland. But everyone is really surprise too see what happen and mr Klautz always said "You are amazing and awesome"

"That's amazing Rudeus." (Klautz)

"Hahaha.." I just laugh and scratch my head

"You are improve so much since that time huh Rudeus. Is the student of the Academy always improve that much in just a few months ? Awesome" (Klautz)

"Haha.. well I don't really know about others mr Klautz" I can only answer like that.

We fight a few monster beast and I just handle them easily. Right now I'm the one who hold the monster beast for the team and mr Zegar help me from the side.

After a few hours we arrive in the Ruin Wasteland. When I see the place I remember I follow the gravel rock monster to arrive in this place and meet mr Aaron and everyone who help take me back to the City.

I keep looking around and mr Aaron said "Is something wrong Rudeus ?"

"Ah.. nothing mr Aaron. Just remember the past" (Rudeus)

"Oh.. well alright then let's go. We need to gather the material. Eichiloa and Ground Root. This material can only be found in the place like Ruin Wasteland and we need to search it every corner of boulder. There is so many gravel rock monster in this area but not only that, this area have a few stronger beast than Black Horned Bear. So we must be careful." (Aaron)

Everyone nod and begin to search in the vicinity. We move as a group of course. No need to split because this place is quite dangerous.

We begin to move into deeper level of Ruin Wasteland. We found quite a few of them but it still not enough. We need to have 5kg of echiloa and and 5kg of ground root.

"This place is really hot" I thought

I ask them why the guild need so many of this herb and mr Klautz said "It's for potion of course."

"Yeah but why need so many of them" (Rudeus)

"Hmm.. maybe you not believe this but market always lack potion. There is so many adventurer buy a potion everyday that the supply can not keep up with the expenditure. But the problem is most of the material for high quality potion is in deeper level of area, so only silver plate or higher plate adventure take the quest. Oh right what's more you can say we do subjection too." (Klautz)

"I see." (Rudeus)

We search until afternoon and after we had enough we back. We are quite lucky that no profound beast is come to us. We fight a few rank 9 beast though. All of the monster beast live in this area is lizard, snake and rock kind like monster.

After we get back to the Adventure Guild and report our quest, mr Aaron want give me the share rewards but I refuse him.

"It's fine mr Aaron. You all help me so much." (Rudeus)

"Are you sure Rudeus ? Even though is not much and only a few hundred gold including the monster beast we killed but this is your share" (Aaron)

"Nah, I'm fine mr Aaron. Just give it to others." I bow to him

"Sigh.. alright then. Well I guess you will do solo quest huh" (Aaron)

"Yeah. I become adventure because I need more resource" (Rudeus)

"Well alright then. Good luck. I will told others about it. I hope we can make a party again in the future" (Aaron)

"Of course. I will gladly accept it." (Rudeus)

Mr Aaron and me shake our hand. Then I go back to the Academy.
