11:10 am

(Ivan's POV)

I fly over the camp looking for Qaid. Where is he? I suddenly feel my back tingle. I fly to the side. The second I see a pebble fly past me, the world slows down. Everyone walked so slowly as the pebble slowly fell like it was in the water. I try to fly to the side, but I was suddenly teleported to the other side of the pebble. I stay still for a second from confusion.

"What the hell just happened?"

After I stay still for a second, the world went back to normal. Was that perfect doge? I thought it would feel different. I look for who threw the pebble and immediately see Qaid looking up at me. I float down right in front of Qaid. Finally!

"What are you doing? And why are you breathing so hard?"

"I'm breathing normally though?" Qaid shook his head.

"Are you listening to yourself?" I sigh and ignore him.

"Anyway, I need to talk to you."

"Is this about the camp thing? I'm not changing my mind about the gun and medicine."

"That's what I need to talk to you about." Qaid looked suspicious.

" Okayyy?"

"Just follow me." Qaid followed behind me as I lead him to the woods. We walked a bit in the woods before I stopped and turned to face him.

"So what do you got?" He asked. I stretch out my arms and take out a silver shotgun with a long barrel. Qaid's eyes widen as I hand him the shotgun. He mouthed out something but I couldn't hear what he said. I focus my magic into my arms as I take out one of the crates from the vans I got this morning. I put it on the ground right in front of Qaid. Qaid bent down and softly put his gun to the side. I hear the clicks come from the crate as he opened the top. He bit his lip as he took out a bottle out of the crate. I felt cold air come out of the crate.

"What black market shit did you do?" He quietly said. He quickly put the bottle back and quickly closed the crate. "No seriously what did you do?" He yelled as he stood up. I was expecting some cough medicine, maybe even some prescription medicine! Not this! I know for sure normal people can't get this!"

"Don't worry about it!" Qaid stayed silent for a moment.

"Lift up your shirt." He commanded.

"Why?"

"Just do it!" He yelled. I grab the bottom of my shirt and slowly lifted it up. I felt the air hit my bruise as my shirt was lifted up. "You can put it down now." He sighed before saying anything. "You stole it didn't you?" I silently nod as he looked down. "You didn't get caught right?" I stayed silent for a second before responding.

"Kind of but they don't know who I'm."

"How do you kind of get caught?"

"It's complicated." He sighed as he bent down to pick up the crate with an uneasy look.

"What do we do with these anyways?" I shrugged.

"I got it so you could help make the camp better. I thought you knew what to do with them."

"I didn't think you would do it though." We thought silently as we figured out what to do.

"Should we just give it to Coach?" Qaid shook his head.

"We would get in trouble." I bit my lip as I tried to think of other solutions.

We could just leave it, but I almost died for this. I even had to lie to Dominique about this. I want it to have a use somehow. I sit down on the grass and stare at the ground. If we can't give it to Coach, maybe we can give it to someone. Sell it for money? I shake my head. That would just make them take the credit for getting the vaccines. I wouldn't be mentioned at all. The answer suddenly clicks. Is there a god of medicine?

"Qaid?"

"What."

"Who's the god of medicine?"

"Ōkuninushi."

"Why don't we just give the demigods of... however you pronounce that name the medicine?" Qaid thought about my idea for a bit.

"Maybe." I stood up as he opened his mouth.

"Where are they?"

1:04 pm

I and Qaid walk up to the Ōkuninushi cabin's door. I raise my hand to knock on the door but Qaid stopped me. I turn my head to look at him.

"What?"

"Is this even going to work?" I shrug.

"This is the only I thought up. I have no idea if it's going to work." Qaid shrugged and knocked on the door for me. The door quickly opened. A tall pale boy with curly hair opened the door. I felt an uneasy feeling in my stomach form. A confused expression appeared on his face.

"Are you guys looking for someone?" I and Qaid quickly shook our heads. Qaid responded before I could open my mouth.

"We're looking for the- is there anyone who is in charge?" The guy crossed his arms.

"I'm in charge here." He said with a curious tone in his voice.

"Well, me and my brother have medicine for the camp." The guy nodded. "But right now it's just me and brother. We were just wondering if you guys would be interested." The guy leaned on the doorframe.

"Is there any reason you came to us? Or did you just come here first?" Before Qaid could respond I stepped in.

"We came here since Ōkuninushi is the God of Medicine, so we thought you guys would be helpful." The guy stared at us blankly before responding.

"Yeah no, come back when you have more people." He said as he shook his head and closed the door.

"What now?" Qaid asked.

"I have no idea."

1:20 pm

I sit against a tree while Qaid leaned on a nearby tree.

"So who are we going to now?" I stay silent as I think of some other solutions.

"Any other gods of healing?"

"There's Sukuna Bikona but..."

"But?"

"His cabin is empty. He has no kids." I sigh as I rip some blades of grass from out of the ground. I breathe out and close my eyes. Are there any other gods that could help? I grit my teeth in frustration. I really wish I knew more gods. I open my eyes and rest my head on the tree. I know Fūjin, he's the god of the wind. That's all I know though. There's Hachiman, but I don't know anything about him. I sigh as I think about the people I know from camp. Wayne? No, I don't want to talk to him. Alice? What's her parent again? I know it's something like Ina something.

I could find her. But I have no idea where she is.

"Qaid you just wanna call it a day?" Qaid mumbled something before responding.

Yeah why not, we can find some help later." I lazily nod as Qaid walked away and into the main part of the camp. I decided to stay at the bottom tree. I slide my back down the tree. I yawned as I stretched. The sun let out a perfect amount of heat. The weather wasn't too hot nor too cold. It was just the perfect amount. I take out my PSP and turn it on.

This game better be good.

2:31 pm

I stretch and drink from my water bottle as I hold the Psp in mid-air. I hear footsteps come up behind me. I quickly put the PSP in my Inventory and stand up. I look behind me and see Alice with a shocked look on her face.

"What happened to your burns?" She asked. I take a brief look at my arm before responding.

"It healed."

"That fast? Those burns should've lasted your entire life!" I freeze for a moment from shock. I'm so lucky sleep heals me.

"So what are you doing?" Alice shrugged.

"I'm bored, and woods look fun. What are you doing?"

"Sitting."

"Mmmhmm."

I sit down by the tree and take out my PSP.

"Where do you keep your stuff?" She asked as she walked towards me and sat by my side.

"I have no idea where they go. I just know how to get them back out." She briefly nodded as she looked at the PSP in my hands. Alice hummed to the song coming from the PSP.

Signs of love overshadowed by dreams

Baby, don't worry coz you ain't alone

"I like this song," Alice said calmly as she returned to humming the song.

"Yeah the songs are okay, they are... I don't know I just don't like them."

"What do you like then?"

"Maybe something more upbeat?"

"This song sounds pretty upbeat though."

"I guess? I want something more upbeat."

"Oh." We both stayed silent. "Why are you breathing so hard?" I restrain myself from groaning from frustration.

"I'm not breathing hard."

"It's just me then?" We stayed silent for a bit. "You are breathing hard!"

I'm not!"

"Just please stop breathing!"

"I breathing like I normally do!"

"It sounds like you're dying. Did you get hit in the chest by a hammer?"

"I did get hit in the chest earlier today." She sighed as she leaned in toward my PSP.

"So how long have you been playing?"

"I have no idea, a few hours."

"Did this game have any other creatures from mythology?"

"There was this yellow dog. That was the only thing that stood out to me."

"What did it do?"

"Uh, it was immune electricity. Does that mean anything?"

"Hmm, lemme see it." I quickly bring up a menu and show a yellow dog? Lion? I think it was a dog. It had a green beard along with a green tail.

"Is it anything you recognize?"

"I think its the Shisa."

"What do they do?"

"When people put them on their roofs, or at the entrances of gates they ward off evil. Sometimes they are even used to protect buildings from the weather."

"So they're not evil?"

"I don't think they're evil."

"China even uses them too."

"Why does China use them."

"Because the Shisa first came from Chinese mythology."

"So, is Chinese mythology real too?"

"Why would it?" I try not to groan from Alice's stupidity. If it came from Chinese mythology then it somehow came into Chinese mythology. Then it's safe to say that Chinese mythology is also real.

"The Chinese had it first. I doubt the Shisa was the only thing that was only one that also exists."

"I doubt it exists. We have our own story about how the Earth came to be. The Chinese have their own story too. If they were both real, their stories would contradict each other. Ours is obviously the right one." I thought about it for a second before answering.

Anenoid's mom is Aztec. I know a little bit of Egyptian magic. I bite my lip as I think. How did the world come to be if they're all real! I feel my body shake as my palms start to sweat. Thankfully Alice took my mind off the subject.

"The Kirin also came from the Chinese too." My eyes widen as I turn my head towards her.

"Really!?"

"Yeah, why?" Before I could say anything else Alice opened her mouth. "What happened to that Kirin?" She said curiously

"You mean Sombra?"

"Is that its name?"

"Yeah."

"How is it?"

"He's been... happy." I grab my necklace to take it off. I shake it a little. Sombra transformed into his original form. Alice gasped as Sombra hoofed.

"I still don't remember Kirins shapeshifting. Where did you get him anyways?"

"I found him, and he just followed me."

"Oh."

Sombra sat down and laid his down on my lap. I let my Psp float in the air as I stroke Sombra's head. Alice raised her hand and reached towards Sombra. Before her hand could get close to Sombra, Sombra snorted. She quickly retracted her hand. She had a disappointed look on her face.

"What's wrong?" I ask.

"Are... Kirins friendly? Like I know they are always seen as friendly, but this-"

"Sombra's friendly," I say as I rub the fur on his neck. Was Sombra always this soft. Alice hesitantly reached towards Sombra's head and softly rubbed the top of the Kirin's head.

"He's so scaly."

"Yeah, I think he's a lizard or a deer."

"They have the body of a deer, scales like a dragon, a tail that looks like an ox's."

"So Kirins are three animals in one?"

"That's just one version. There's another one that's just one big snake." I look at Sombra with a confused look.

"How can a Kirin go from this," I ask Alice as I point to Sombra. I hear Sombra snore on my lap. "To a big snake?"

"I have no idea." I didn't bother to respond. I just rubbed Sombra's neck. I felt Sombra's weight start to crush my legs. I tap the side of Sombra's neck lightly. Sombra got up and laid by my side. I adjust my body so that I could comfortably lay on the side of the Kirin's stomach. Alice had an uneasy look on her face.

"Should you be doing that?"

"I don't think Sombra minds." I hear Sombra softly breathe as make my Psp fly into my hands. Alice stayed silent as she leaned on the tree. I stayed silent as I focused on my game.

"Hey, Alice?"

"Yeah?"

"Whose cabin do you belong to?"

"Inari Ōkami, why?"

"Just curious. What is he the god of?"

"He is the god of foxes, of fertility, rice, tea, and sake, of agriculture and industry."

"I thought he would be the god of medicine of something."

"Why?"

"Your cabin has the alcohol that heals. So I just thought-

"We are just always prepared." I notice that she switched to She.

"Why did you call him a She?" Alice breathed in deeply.

"Well, he is sometimes a she and she's sometimes a he."

"That's weird."

"You get used to it." She suddenly gasped. "You're dad doesn't even look human!" I shrug.

"I have no idea what my mom was thinking. He looks like an ogre."

"How does he have children?" I shrug. I get up as I think about Alice's godly parent. I wonder if maybe they can help me?

"Alright, Alice I gotta go."

"Oh, bye."

2:45 pm

"Ivan, you're sure they will help?" I shrug as I and Qaid walked up towards the door.

"I don't know. I met them once and I'm not sure if they remember me." Qaid looked at me with a blank look.

"It might work?"
