Another accident...

The gate sent him to the past; his soul didn't go to heaven or hell this time. It was 13 years ago; the year is 2007and it was when his whole family was going to his grandparents for summer in Baguio city.

Known as the summer capital of the country, his father's parents are living there after retirement and it's a tradition that his father's family having a reunion every summer vacation.

Bert's family is pretty excited about the vacation, last year was hectic managing the family business and the plan was cancelled eventually.

The vacation will start after they spend a week w/ whole clan to celebrate the wedding anniversary of his grandparents. The rest of the summer vacation will be a tour in the northern part of the country.

Driving them to the airport is Uncle Greg from his mother's side; his family is the caretaker and manages the business of the family resort in Boracay.

The island is the no. 1 tourist spot in the country, known for its white sand beach and blue sea. Last year, according to dept. of tourism's data, about 2 million local and foreign tourists visited the island.

So after saying his goodbyes to Bert's family, he'll be waiting for the guest whom made reservation that day to arrive and led them back to the resort.

Seeing the Bert's family plane flying away, he felt something bad and started getting nervous as the plane disappeared in the horizon.

The air travel from Caticlan airport is about 50 minutes to Manila International Airport. From there, a RV is waiting for them and another 4-6 hrs. of travel to Baguio city.

The lights were dim since it's an evening flight they've taken and most of the passengers are taking a nap. His mom and dad were sitting together, Bert fell asleep right after dinner and having a nice dream.

In his dream, his 30 yrs. old soul successfully adapted into his body while, he was playing leading actor in the Korean movies 'Architecture 101' and he was going kiss the female lead.

"Ding! It was interrupted by an electronic sound, then a message panel appeared and it was similar to his recently read webnovel.

"I select English" Bert choose English since he's quite confident on it.

Bert presses accept the installation; "It feels like running a program on my computer but it's a real life system for me only!���

"Yes of course, I 'accept' the system and I'm willing w/ all my heart!" Bert said.

He pressed browse to see where it'll be save and next to continue it.

"Yes, please continue it" Bert replied like having conversation w/ the system.

"Yes" Zian quickly replied, pressing the accept button and started its scan.

"What the heck is this, I'm still outside of my body?" Bert said while confuse on what to do, having an actual out of body experience and he doesn't know how to get back in.

"Could I rename and adjust your voice System?" Bert asks.

"It's possible, Host" System replied

"Use a British accent, the voice is about fifty years old and call me sir from now on!" Bert said.

"It's my honor, Sir!" System replied

"Well, my skills are too low, so can this upgrade or level up! System?" Bert asked.

"The system will be giving you task/mission to accomplish your goals along the way. Every time you succeed in this task, there'll be rewards and chance to get an upgrade on any skills.

Make sure to do your best in performing task and the supervisor will grade your actions. Depending on how much you did well, there'll be unknown rewards after the completion and you may get a big prize, Sir!" System said.

"Is my first task to get back in my body, System?" he asked.

"I don't know what will be the content of your task, all this depends on creator's will and you've stay patient, Sir!" System replied.

"Okay, I get it! You've given too much info that brain may explode any seconds, Systems!" he said.

"Human brain doesn't explode coz by consuming a lot of info, sir! Calm yourself, meditation helps your brain function and boost the capability of the mind!" System said.

"Oh my goodness! My nose is bleeding already, can we talk in my dialect and this will be much easier for me, System!" he said.

"The language you've chosen is English, so deal w/ it and it's a good practice when in the future you'll be talking to foreigners, Sir!" System replied.

"You've always got a good point there! Can I save my parent's in this situation, system?!" he asked.

"It depends on creator's will! I'm sorry, but by judging the current situation and possibility is a no, Sir!" System replied.

"It's fine, at least I got to see them again for the last time and there's nothing I can do about it..." he said, as watched the two sleeping next to each and holding hands.

His ever hardworking, loyal and kind father, second to his mother whom spoiled him, the best cook ever and nurse like a pro whenever he gets sick.

For the last time, he hugged and kissed them until the tragedy sweep the entire plane. In a blink of an eye, the calm and wonderful evening flight turned into chaos.
