Search and Rescue
"Booom 2x!!" both engines of the plane exploded for unknown reason.
"What the heck was that?!" everyone asleep was cut short as two loud booms were heard and the plane's debris hit the plane.
"Baaang!!"
"Crack!!!"
"Oooh shitt!" one unlucky passenger's window was broken; he got sucked into the hole and was stuck there.
"Please help us! Anybody! Oh my god!" the guy was hanging out, as the hole got bigger and the plane lose the air pressure.
"Mayday 3x!!!, ATC this FilPac 992! We lose both our engines! I repeat both engines are in destroyed and our pressure is going down! " Captain Catig tried his best to maintain the plane's chance to have safe landing.
"FalPac 992, you lose both engines and air pressure? How much fuel does still have and total people on board?" Air traffic control asked.
"Yup that's correct! There's still 2/3 left in the tank and 153 souls are on board! We need help, ATC!" Captain Catig said.
His co-pilot Albert checks the manual (CRH), as the captain talked to the tower. Pulling emergency fire extinguishers, the flames were put off but they have no power and passengers are started to panic.
"This is your captain speaking; we lose power due to explosions on both engines and will have to land on the nearest airport/ open field. I ask everyone to remain calm, seatbelts on and prayers for a safe landing!" Captain Catig said.
"Everyone needs to remain seated in a brace position for landing! To brace, place your feet flat on the floor, cross your wrist and hold on to the seat back in front of you!" Cabin manager Maria Rizalin gave the instructions for brace position and demonstrated by the flight attendants.
"Airports available to you are San Jose Airport of Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque Airport and Basilio Fernando Air Base in Lipa, Batangas, FalPac 992!" Air traffic control said.
"This is FilPac 992! We couldn't make it on land; our sole option is to land, while we can still glide and...." Captain Catig transmission was bad and gibberish can be only heard.
"FilPac 992 3x!!! We lost contact w/ the captain, Sup!" ATC operator said.
"Check the area where area they last in contact! I'll inform the higher ups, plane's owner and the government for search and rescue!" ATC supervisor said.
"Okay, I'll try to see where the last transmission was before it disconnects, Sir!" ATC operator replied.
"I'll leave to you then, Art!" ATC supervisor said, he leave the control room and to his office.
Good evening, Sir!" his secretary said.
"Please connect me to CAAP commissioner, FilPac's owner and to the office of the President, ASAP!!" ATC supervisor said.
"Kring2x!!" the phone rings quickly, as he got into his sit and received the call.
"Hello Mr. Alcantara, we have a bad news for here and can you please come over in the office! We need your cooperation on this matter! " ATC supervisor said.
"Okay, I'll be there in a minute, Sir!" Mr. Alcantara is just around the hangar watching the planes maintenance work on-going and went quickly to the office in the airport's mall.
"Okay, goodbye then, Mr. Alcantara!" Another call came in and he sweeps his sweat in his forehead.
"Hello good evening Sir! We have a local commercial plane that got into trouble and we've lost in contact w/ them" ATC supervisor said.
"Hmn... I'll inform the board and stakeholders right away. Get the conference room ready and good job, Sup!" Commissioner Levi said.
"Thanks, sir!" ATC supervisor replied.
"Kring2x!!" another phone rings, it was his cellphone this time and the one calling is an executive of a big station in the country.
"Hello! Good timing you have there, send a news crew in the airport and big news is going to be announce tonight!" ATC supervisor said.
"Well my luck is really good this year! Okay, I'll dispatch our main anchor there! Thanks for the info, let's meet sometime in the club and it'll be my treat, my friend!" executive of news dept. in MAG TV station.
"Of course! How can I say no to free meal and extra income!? Bye I'm busy, dude!" ATC supervisor said.
"Kring2x!!" this was the office of the president and he was also good friend of this close cabinet secretary of the president.
"Hello good evening, June! Sorry to disturb your sleep..." ATC supervisor said.
"No worries, I'm just watching TV to fall asleep! Any problem you call in the middle of the night?!" Under-secretary Henry of Disaster and Response said.
"Well as you said, there's an incident about a flight this evening from Caticlan airport to Manila and we need help for a search and rescue of the plane���s passenger!" ATC supervisor said.
"Hmn.... Okay I'll relay it to the corresponding agency and help w/ the crisis you got!" Under-secretary Henry replied.
"I also have a piece of info you might like about the passengers!" ATC supervisor said.
"Okay, you got me! We're good buddies here, don't leave me hanging and spill it out already, dude!" Under-secretary Henry replied.
"Hahaha! I'm just kidding as your good brother, I got the manifesto here and a name struck me! It's Jose Devino, Luisa Devino and Bert Devino! Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this the current president of Devin group and son of business tycoon Robin Devino?!" ATC supervisor said.
"The name maybe similar but there's a big chance it's them! Hahaha! Okay, I'll be going personally and talked to the palace! Maybe it's my chance to get this break, my friend!" Under-secretary Henry said.
"Don't forget me too, Dude!" ATC supervisor said.
"Of course! How can I forget your great help after this, my friend?! I'll be there after meeting the President so keep info yourself until get there, Ok!?" Under-secretary Henry said.
"No problem! Just make quickly before the commission and the owner release the official statement after the briefing!" ATC supervisor said.
"Don't worry! I'm in the palace right now, so it'll be fast and the madam will have the same idea as me! So delayed it as much as possible and I'll be there in an hour or so!" Under-secretary Henry said.
"Okay, I'll be waiting for you! See you later then, dude!" ATC supervisor said.
"Knock2x!!" his secretary came in w/ a group from FilPac and the owner is leading the way.
"Hello good evening, Sup!" FilPac's VP and major shareholder, Mr. Delfino along w/ his brother in law, Mr. Alcantara and team arrived in his office
"Have a sit guys, get us some drinks, Ms. Lea! I'm glad that FilPac's executives are here!" ATC supervisor said.
"That's obvious since you got something important to us, Sup! What's this news you're talking about on the phone?!" FilPac's Mr. Alcantara said.
"Well, this news is a bad one and lives are at stake in this moment so better listen to me! According to the operator, FilPac 1992 of yours has a flight from Caticlan airport to Manila and 154 souls are on board including the crews.
By 8:35 pm. the ATC received a call for help, the reason is engine failure and they need an emergency landing before we loss contact. The team is estimating that the plane experience more troubles.
As they tried to go to the nearest airport and we're working for possible area where they made an emergency descent.
You can wait in the conference room for more info, while CAAP and people from the palace will here in an hour, guys!" ATC supervisor said.
"Thanks for quick action, we'll go to the conference room to discuss this matter and wait for more updates, Sup!" FilPac's Mr. Alcantara said.
"I'm sorry for my earlier words, Sup! It's good thing that you inform us and the palace!" FilPac's VP Mr. Delfino kneels down as he apologized to ATC supervisor.
"Don't embarrass yourself anymore! Stand up and wait for more update in the next room w/ others! " ATC supervisor said, FilPac's group transfer to other room and the secretary sent them drinks.
CAAP officials (Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines) got the same info and they waited in the conference room along w/ FilPac group.
"Wang!!!3x" a long convoy stopped in the airport entrance, PSG (Presidential Security Group) closed the perimeter and secured the vicinity before giving the go signal to let people out of the main vehicle.
All cabinet secretaries are present, the military generals are also present and some foreign envoy there.
What caught attention is an old couple's entourage in business attire and this must be the family of Devino.
"This way everyone please!" ATC secretary led the group to the conference room and he began the briefing plus the new update they got from the signal of the plane.
"The latest signal we've pick from the satellite is between the island provinces of Marinduque, Batangas and Mindoro.
About 154 souls are on board including the crews, the captain and first officers are determined to land safely plane so hijacking or terrorist attack is zero possibility.
Another trouble might cause the crew to stop them from further info. One of the passenger's families is from Devin group; they willing to give 10 million to anyone can give useful info on the whereabouts of the plane and their relatives.
A task force is created by the president to lead the search and rescue of the people. ATC supervisor said.

It's time to show how powerful our country during crisis and willingness to help the people in this dire situation. To those families of the passengers, the list will be released and pray for their safety!" Under-secretary Henry Vargas closed the press-con and president's guards are around to control the crowd.
"Please don't worry too much! All will be alright, as soon we deploy the people for the search and rescue!" Madam President reassured the Devino couple, before she left the room and return to the palace.
"I hope so, Madam President!" the couple will be going w/ Under-secretary Henry Vargas to Batangas, as they cancel the reunion and call for help w/ the rescue
