Reunion

after finding Astrid making out with the maid's, Alcaeus decides to stop this and interfere with her actions by pulling her off to get distance as the maid ran and Astrid was able to see Alcaeus, and the way she meets him again is a surprise to him when they reunite.

Alcaeus:" okay not again, ASTRID, DON'T JUST MAKE OUT WITH THE MAID'S AGAINST THEIR WILL, I never even knew you were into women"

Astrid:" Atalan, it is you... IT IS, come here"

getting a hug in, Astrid hugged her friend as he was able to tell her new thing's about him as they were hugging, but then.

Alcaeus:" I'm going by Alcaeus Achilles now, you can just call me Alcaeus, but-"

his sentence was stopped by her kissing him, hugging and saying she missed him, she also wore clothes that in elf society, were very unbefitting and unthinkable of an elf, let alone a high elf princess to wear, she was wearing clothes fitting of a tomboy but unbefitting of a princess of the elf race, she wears black short shorts with a brown belt and blue/white pantyhose to look like pant's but aren't from closer expectation, a blue/white sleeveless shirt, blue arm sleeves and a blue scarf on her neck, she also has long boots on that go to her ankles, normally, a princess dresses in a luxurious dress or noble attire, not plain clothes, especially since the clothes are wrinkly and seem stretched in some places.

Alcaeus:" wow, Astrid, you've... changed since we last meet"

Astrid:" well women do mature faster than men do... I did explore more to myself and found out I'm perverted, all thank's to my family"

Alcaeus:"... what"

her family then explained that she saw them "go at it" with their spouses and since then, she's grown very perverted, each of her older sibling's were ashamed and almost committed suicide because of this with this massively humiliating shame, embarrassment, and failure as siblings and high elves, though Alcaeus just adjusted himself to meet the situation and catch up, apparently, Astrid is Bi and constantly makes out with the maids, as well as staring at the men training as she was apparently very perverted as well as her family keeping her in a room to make sure she didn't cause trouble, but she was also a tomboy as well who instead of using her very impressive magic as much as she did before to be a mage as expected of her, she preferred hand to hand combat as she was gifted more in physical combat than magic.

Alfred:" I am happy she's more expressive and much happier than she's ever been lately, but..."

Alcaeus:" you wish she was a little less expressive now"

Alfred:" yes, now can you talk to her, I think she'll listen to you, as one of her only real friend's, she'll listen to you over us"

Alcaeus:" I'll try, but Artemis did teach me one thing that I should keep in mind when dealing with women when talking to them since it would be helpful since I was in a familia with nothing but women, and that was that women aren't supposed to make sense in their word's, action's, or behavior... Artemis said this so it's okay, at least's that's what she said, such as the way people work... don't expect to much"

heading to her, they talk like before and even spar for a bit, she leveled up and was now a level 3, however, a part of their conversation lead to something surprising that caught Alcaeus off guard.

Alcaeus:" so you're a level 3 now, I would have thought you be a higher level by now"

Astrid:" actually, I had a level reset"

Alcaeus:" YOU WHAT, that's throwing away year's of work though, are you sure"

a level reset is resetting an adventurer's level back to level 1 and having all their stat's at 0I again as well as take away all their skill's except for the first two development abilities, skill, magic, and Blessed abilities they had in the beginning, as such, this is a massive decision for many, however, they do get the benefit of being able to change their status to a more suitable for them this way, but it's hard to get back after.

Alcaeus:" why did you do something like that"

Astrid:" well... I focused so much on magic, I ignored my other status and I suffered because of it, however, after some of our fight's, I realized I am better at physical combat than magical combat, now I just balance the two"

Alcaeus:" I guess it is good you're stronger, right"

Astrid:" yeah, I'm way stronger than I ever was, also, one more thing, one match"

Alcaeus:"... alright, I'll use my new power's to fight well against you then"

Astrid:" did you get a Dunamis as well then from Artemis"

Alcaeus then sulked as he then said that he was no longer able to follow the Artemis familia as he was to old and now he was on his own, Astrid then hugged him to comfort him in his now sad state she caused as she forgot about their match and now they were just playing normally like before, though, he did say he'd be leaving soon as he only came to visit as well as planning to visit some other places as well, though not before seeing to their monster increase himself.

Astrid:" this remind's me of the time we went hunting together, right"

Alcaeus:" yeah, only now, we're both much stronger than before, don't get scared if we come across Minotaur now"

Astrid:" hey, don't make fun of me, as you should know I slew a dozen at level 2 to level up just last year, so don't take me so lightly"

Alcaeus:" okay okay, I won't take you lightly, you have impressive magic, so a level 3 chanting it should be something"

Astrid:" okay, I'll chant my spell, and you finish off any leftover enemies left"

the chant was somewhat long, but after getting in position, they were ready as they see a group of monster's, compared to the party of monster's they slew the firs time thy hunted, this group was 25 times larger with Orcs, Imps, Hell Hounds, and Cyclopes now, but thankfully, nothing the 2 of them can't handle as long as Astris gets her spell of first, but Alcaeus couldn't get shown up so easily, so he'll show her something good, Astrid fired her spell off as it killed many of the monster's, but some of them survived, it was then Alcaeus had a smug like look on his face as he stepped up.

Alcaeus:" alright, and I'll show you my new trick"

Astrid:" new trick, do you have a new weapon or something"

Alcaeus:" you'll see soon enough"

heading to the monster's that ran off to get into another group of monsters, this group was larger than the last one, there were some high tier monster's there, even a dragon, one of the most difficult creatures to kill in the world on the surface, even the weakest of dragons pose a very high threat to most places and takes at least a party of experienced veteran level 4's to take down and as only one of them was a level 3, so they were at a disadvantage, however, Alcaeus had a trick up his sleeve.

Alcaeus:" don't worry, I'll use that trick I know now, it's magic I developed in my travels"

Astrid:" not sure how one spell will help, but try it if you think it will work, and if not, distract them while I use my most powerful spell"

as soon as they were in sight, he opened a portal to get out a spear from thin air and then threw the spear as when it hit, it blew up and killed more than half of them, Astrid was blown away by that simple yet very effective attack as she then regains her composure as they went to kill the rest, and after, Astrid was interested in knowing what that was.

Astrid:" that spear you pulled out, what was that"

Alcaeus:" well... at some point, I got this power to create anything I can think of, from weapon's to even food"

Astrid:" (gasp) can you make an apple crisp flavored stack of chocolate and banana pancakes with toffee chocolate and peanut butter ice cream on top with whipped cream, caramel maple syrup with a strawberry funnel cake on the side with powdered sugar on top, and an entire half-gallon of hot chocolate to drink, I would love that, but mom and dad say I can't have to much sweet's at once, but that is my dream breakfast, can you make it happen"

Alcaeus:"... that sound's like it's going to be a bit to much don't you think, I mean, that's a lot of food and a lot of sugar in one, maybe start out smaller"

Astrid:" you mean you can't make it"

Alcaeus:" no not that, I mean, that seems a bit much to eat, so much sugar, and I also prefer to cook it myself, so-"

Astrid:" please, if you prefer to cook t yourself, can you make it for me, please (puppy eyes)"

after a bit of puppy eyes to make Alcaeus give, Alcaeus formed a makeshift kitchen to cook her mean, and after 10 minutes, he was done and presented her with her dream food per her specific request, making what she asked, she was able to eat all of the food in front of her as she gorged herself and had to be carried back as she stuffed herself full to the point where she can't get up anymore, her parent's asked what happened as she then threw up all over Alcaeus and he had to change his clothes with his magic as he explained his power to both Alfred and Hellena his power and how it worked, while he was warned not to, he trusted these 2 since as royal's, they'd prefer to have something like this to themselves rather than the public since they would like to use and abuse it when they needed to, but still, they both were amazed and interested as they had a thought that could be useful.

Alfred:" if that's the case, then it's best to test it out, based on what you said, if you have physical contact with an item, you can copy it much easier than just thinking about it, and as for cooking her that entire sugary meal, I think she learned her lesson on why she's not allowed to eat that much sweet stuff all at once"

Alcaeus:" yeah, I'm sorry about that, and as for the copying, if I do touch something, I get the complete analysis and information about it in my head all of a sudden, it shocked me at first, but I got used to it, though... creating it is another story"

Hellena:" what do you mean"

Alcaeus:" well... I can't make a metal better than Bronze and only make it from that or metals weaker than it, and I can't use highly valuable or rare material, only low quality material or things of that nature"

Hellena:" even so, the convenience of this magic is undeniable, even the highest of quality weapons, unless they're made from Aegimantine (Aegis/ Adamantine), are going to break, so I'd rather have a near-infinite supply of cheap weapon's that will break for me to just replace after the second it's broken than one weapon I can't tell will break leaving my vulnerable or such"

Alcaeus:" it's not that easy, but yes, that's how it works, I can summon them to my hand like so"

he then pulled out a basic knife, it wasn't to detailed, namely, it was almost like a series of square edges and a single point like a drawing rather than a knife, it wasn't to bad, but it's not that impressive as the point seemed a bit small and the handle was to rugged and not to comfortable in the hand.

Alcaeus:" but I found out my limit is creating a few thousand before I run out of Mana"

Alfred:" and you have no Dunamis as far as I know, right this if off your own power alone"

Alcaeus:" no, I have Ki helping me, but I do plan on joining a familia soon, though, goddess Artemis gave me a list of god's and goddesses to stay clear from, and the lies of Apollo, Zeus, Aphrodite, Ishtar, Freya, Loki, Hermes, and Dionysus on the list with this note"

the note said she's shot him dead if she saw him in any of these familia's by choice and that sent a shiver down his spine, and they dropped it immediately.

Alfred:" well, tell us and we can put in a good word for you, I mean, your achievements when you were here speak for themself, as well as your other achievements, though they are on the down-low for some reason, why's that"

Alcaeus:" firstly, no thank you, I prefer to find my way with my own path and join a familia that accept's me for me, not my reputation alone, I can handle myself just fine anyway so you don't need to worry"

Hellena:" well godspeed for you then"

Alcaeus:" and secondly, Artemis wants me to find a familia that won't be to focused on my reputation as those are sometimes the familia's that are not so good when you're in them actually, so it's more of a safety measure"

Hellena:" I could actually name dozen's of victim's to that... anyway, how long do you plan on staying, we'd have no problem letting you stay here a few day's if you wish to get your barring's in before traveling again"

Alcaeus:" not long, I was just visiting some places and then was going to head to one of the dungeons, which do you recommend"

Alfred:" other than the one here, we recommend the one in Babylonia since it's a human-dominated territory and you should be able to blend in well there if you mean to lay low for now"

Alcaeus:" going to Babylonia in Athens, wow, though, they don't have a king as of now since the heir was killed, it's sad"

Hellena:" it was odd, I meet the child myself, the child was as healthy as can be, has a strong presence even as a baby, and had a great spirit that many men do not have as adults, how did he possibly fail the test"

Albert:" let's not talk about this, it's a little over a decade old, so let's just focus on now, as for now, that would be best since humans aren't looked to favorably in the other kingdoms, though it's just my opinion"

Alcaeus:" don't worry, I'll make sure to take care of myself, but first, I need to tell some other people as well"

after staying and explaining his power, he was going to say goodbye when Astrid came and asked he stay, but then, he said he'd be going to the capital of Babylonia soon, so not to go to worry about not seeing him again as he said he'd come back soon enough, though little did he know what his journey would lead him to.
