Chapter 481: Petty

Ian was sprawled out over the large bed in the middle of the room. The accommodation was more like a studio apartment because it was a couples suite, and it was annoyingly obvious that it featured a romantic design. It even had an open shower, and hot tub near the bed. Ian had already washed, and Drax was in the middle of drying himself. He listened to his friend gush over Mills, and joke about the woman she tried to kill, making Ian feel jealous.

Drax climbed into the bed, far enough from Ian that the two men would not start arguing like they had done the night before, but close enough for them to have a conversation without feeling the need to speak loudly.

"What's on your mind little brother?" Ian rested his palms on his face massaging slightly before answering.

"I can't even explain how I feel right now; and you?" Ian quizzed back.

"Frustrated. All the kissing Mills and I do has me wanting more and more, but instead of a tall beautiful exotic beauty in my bed I'm stuck with you."

"At least I fit the description," Ian said playfully and Drax threw a pillow at him. The men were about to settle in, but a knock at the door startled them, and Ian rolled to his stomach to watch Drax open the door.

Drax clapped his hands in anticipation as four men pushed a large meal set into the room, and Ian felt his mood plummet. He had not even asked Mina if she were hungry the entire day, and other than the water she had with her, she likely had not eaten anything. Meanwhile, Ian was almost positive that Drax and Mills had a full meal before they came to join him and Mina to watch the sunset.

Ian stood up, making his way to sit at the table, which was built in a way to allow couples to stay close; meaning that he and Drax could literally touch each other's faces across the small eating space. It was probably not the same for people of average height, but he was tall, and Drax was a giant.

With a huge smile Drax also sat and waited for the men to start serving the meal, but instead they lined up and one of them started a grand introduction, that both men ignored as part of the service. Ian raised his eyebrows when the man mentioned the hotel encouraging freedom of self and love, but considering that it was a couples suite, he assumed the speeches were preassigned per room. The four men twirled in circles, and it was about that time that Drax's head tilted to the side in bewilderment.

As the men spun, their clothing started to fall to the ground, and before Ian and Drax could process what was happening, music started to play, and four men in G-string thongs were grinding on one another, biting their lips, and making erotic faces. Ian wanted to stop looking, but his eyes were glued. He was stuck in petrified silence, and when he forced his eyes to look at Drax, his friend wore much the same expression.

The pair was left speechless, not knowing if what they were seeing was some sort of joke or part of the hotel's theme. Although their bodies were stiff, their eyes met, and Ian forced his head to shake, indicating to Drax that he too had no idea what was happening. Ian had never been to Bal for a vacation, and he knew little of the culture.

Ian and Drax were fine with the men dancing, but when one of the men floated up to Ian and stroked his cheek, Drax burst into laughter, which was suddenly stopped when another man thrust toward Drax's face, and Ian could swear the man's junk hit Drax's nose. He did not know how his friend kept his calm as he stood, grabbed two men by the backs of their necks and threw them out, with the other men picking up their robes and running out, not wanting the same treatment.

Drax took several deep breaths, and Ian was struggling not to laugh. He knew his friend was on the verge of a breakdown, and truthfully, he would have been too if he had been poked in the nose by another man's piece.

"At least they left the food," Ian offered, and that seemed to get Drax's attention. Both men grabbed one of the two handles, and lifted the large metal dome over the platter, and both shouted in alarm as they caught sight of a naked man, covered in sushi. Drax gagged several times, and Ian pushed the cart out of the room, not shocked to find the dancers nervously waiting outside. "Don't get us wrong, we aren't judging you, but we did not ask for this." One of the men released a breath, obviously afraid that they had done something unsatisfactory.

----

Mina and Mills went to bed with satisfied smiles on their faces the night before. There was nothing better than petty revenge, and they were sure both men had enjoyed the little meal the women had planned for them, and they were not done either. There were more surprises that would reveal themself throughout the trip, the first of which they were already preparing for.

Mina had ditched the bikini for a yellow one piece with a bottom that looked more like shorts. It had matching mesh sleeves and a low-cut mesh back, leaving Mills satisfied that Mina was not dressing like an old lady. Mills slipped into another monokini, but it covered much less than the one she had worn the day before. Mina was sure Mills would have worn something more revealing, but the scar on her abdomen was still healing, and her doctor had recommended that she avoid direct sunlight from getting to the freshly grown and sensitive skin.

The ladies slung their bags over their arms and headed to the shore, this time, planning to wander away from the private beach of the hotel and walk across to one that was open to all. With Mina's ability to speak in the language of Bal, and the language of Sani, Mills felt like not much could go wrong, and she was capable of handling anything that did.

Mina did not know why, but she was hoping to see Carson when they got to the beach. She wanted to apologize for leaving the way she had done, and when Mills pressed her about why she was so quiet, she confessed to having maybe 'found an opportunity.' It was obvious that Carson was from Pan, and Mina figured that he was on vacation just the way she and Mills were, because he was obviously not a hotel employee.

----

The two women made themselves comfortable under the umbrella they had set up, and Mina cracked open a book that she had picked up at a novelty shop they passed. Mills laid her head across Mina's lap as she read the book aloud in the Sani language, which impressed Mills because it meant that Mina was translating the book from Bali to her language, which was not easy.

Mills was eating some of the fresh fruit they had bought, and every now and then she would slide a grape into Mina's mouth, which unbeknownst to the women, was causing a disturbance in the area. A ball landed near Mills' head and sent sand shooting in the faces of both women, who coughed as they brushed it away. Mills' eyes had been closed behind her glasses, but Mina had been reading, and some of the sand made into her eyes which infuriated Mills. She helped Mina rinse the sand away with a bottle of water, and then she started to look for where the ball had come from. She saw a group of men laughing and Mills shot them an evil smirk.
