Chapter 658: Security

Mina glared at everyone in the room as she held ice to the face of the teen who had been tied to a chair. Aside from his nose being broken, he had facial bruising, and while no one would tell her who injured the boy, Mina knew it was either Drax or Mills because President Lee had been with her. The teen was clearly set up, and Mina believed that everyone would have known that if they had included her in their plans, but they did not.
"Miss Con- I mean Mina; I really didn't mean to cause trouble," the boy said.
"It's okay, you are not the one to blame here." Mina allowed her eyes to linger on President Lee, making Mills giggle when the man gasped in shock.
"How is this my fault?" Ian asked, clearly offended, but Mina focused her attention back on the teen.
The boy had been the one to loan her his backpack when she was trying to escape from President Lee. Mina had no idea how he had gotten wrapped up in her nonsense, but she was worried about it. His father was the floor director for the valet service being used, and he had already made plans to attend the event with his father because he wanted to take pictures with the luxury cars. He told them that he only went through with everything because the doors were unlocked, just as he was told they would be.
"Is my dad going to be in trouble?" the teen asked. Mina kept quiet, not wanting to lie, but she hoped for leniency since she had helped create the problem for him.
"That depends," Drax said. "What is your real name and how old are you?"
"Finn Wick," the boy said in embarrassment, "and I'm Fifteen." Drax made a surprised face.
"Do you play sports?"
"Online," he admitted. "Why?"
"You're going to military school," Drax replied excitedly, and the teens eyes went wide with horror. "Or... I can arrest you for trespassing, get your father fired and-"
"Okay!" the teen interrupted. "Will there at least be girls?" he asked, making Drax smirk before Mills elbowed him in the side. The teen nodded, clearly understanding the interaction. "Are they as hot as her?" It was Drax's turn to get annoyed, and he possessively wrapped his arm around Mills, making Ian and Mina roll their eyes.
Just as medical staff came into the room, Ellie and Zane entered. They studied the situation before Ellie threw a fit. She was angry that she had been excluded from whatever was going on, and when Mina said that she too had not been told, Ellie stormed out of the room, taking the heart of the teen in the chair.
"Miss con- I mean Mina, please tell me that she is single."
"Why?" Zane and Ian asked simultaneously.

In the backseat of his car, Ian pressed his body against Mina's. She was still upset, and he could understand why. The plan in place was juvenile and silly. Mills and Drax had made it too easy for anyone to walk in, and as Ellie had pointed out after she cooled off, any trained professional would know it was a trap.
"Mina, I'm sorry, okay?"
"Sorry? President Lee, what if Finn had really been an assailant? What if he would have used poison on Mills? How do you think I would feel?" Ian flinched. He had thought of that, he just did not care, and neither did Mills. Everyone just wanted to put an end to Mina's forced isolation before his birthday which was only days away.
"I'll make it up to you in bed tonight," he said, kissing and lightly sucking on Mina's neck. He could tell by the way she squirmed under his touch that she was affected by his actions, and it encouraged him to do more, but as soon as his hand rested on her inner thigh, she pulled away.
"We did it twice this morning."
"And?" Ian replied. "Have you seen how beautiful you are?" Mina giggled as the man pulled her closer and tickled her sides, but she quickly regained her composure pushing him away.
"Please," she said, and Ian's mind took on a sinister idea.
"Can you try using your mouth." Ian felt the woman tense. He thought she would protest, but she nodded, taking him by surprise. He fumbled with his pants, freeing himself as the woman covered her face in embarrassment. "You don't have to," he said, feeling as though he were forcing the woman into an uncomfortable situation, but before he could hide himself, she had already leaned down to take him into her mouth.
Surprise overtook Ian, who closed his eyes in pleasure. Mina clearly had no idea what she was doing, but it still felt great. He gathered her hair in his hand and watched the woman's actions, feeling himself rise with the softness of her tongue. As she got used to him, her pace increased, and Ian could feel his buildup.
"Mina-" he panted out, and the woman hummed in response, causing Ian to explode before he could fully push her away.

Mina darted out of President Lee's car, completely mortified. The man was chasing after her, but he was still giggling, and it was at her expense. She had heard from Mills that what she had done was every man's favorite thing, and while she was embarrassed at first, she had allowed herself to slip into the moment. It was odd, but what she was doing made her feel like she was in control of the man, but when he released himself without warning, her mortification increased tenfold. It was not just because she was shocked, but it was because the man laughed at her expression.
Mina could imagine that her expression looked silly, but he could have at least held it in until she had gotten over her initial shock.
"Mina, I'm sorry," the man said, but he was still giggling. She went straight into her restroom and climbed into the shower, annoyed when the man followed her inside. "I tried to warn you," he said, kissing the back of her neck as she scrubbed at her face. "It was a natural reaction."
"So is mine," Mina snarled. He responded by pulling her out of the tub, and pressing her into her bed. "You promised," she said, and Ian spooned the woman, covering her in blankets.
"I said we wouldn't do it tonight. I'm just making arrangements for the morning."
True to his word, Mina was awakened by President Lee caressing her body. She moaned as she turned to the man, allowing him easier access to her core before he rolled on top of her. The whole night he had been teasing her, so by the time she woke up, she wanted him badly.
"Can we skip it?" He asked, and Mina, despite being under the man's spell, shook her head.
"President Lee, I don't want children," she absentmindedly replied, and Ian pulled his face away from Mina's neck, startling the woman who looked at him curiously.
"Why?" he asked, dreading to hear her answer. He not only wanted children, but he wanted them with her.
"I don't want to bring children into uncertainty," she admitted, and Ian pressed a reassuring kiss on her lips, happy that he was not the problem. His birthday was fast approaching, and he planned to give her the promise he thought she needed.
Without replying, Ian sheathed himself and pressed into Mina. He told himself that she would be more open to children with him after they were married. He believed that his proposal would give her the security she wanted and needed from him, but for Mina, marriage meant nothing. She did not care about a ring or a piece of paper, she wanted a relationship that was grounded in trust, she wanted something tangible, and more importantly, she wanted to be loved.

Ian gently rubbed Mina's abdomen, still convinced that she was already carrying his child. She had fallen asleep, and he was taking the opportunity to admire her body without her covering herself up in shame. She was beautiful, and the fact that she was finally his was baffling to him. All the things he had done to her should have ruled him out as a possible partner, but she had given him a chance, and he did not want to waste it.
Softly, Ian called out Mina's name, knowing that she needed to be at work. He could not wait until she was working by his side and he could flaunt her around as his wife. He dreamed of a time they were not together in secret, and he craved the freedom to hold her in public, something he never thought he would want from anyone.
"Hmm?" Mina replied, still clinging to sleep.
"You have to leave soon," he added, and the woman stretched before realizing that she was naked. She quickly covered herself, turning bright red, and Ian teased her by telling her that he had already 'played with' everything.
Mina darted out of the bed and ran into the restroom, feeling a sense of embarrassment and oddly enough, content. She completed her morning routine, and started to dress herself, but just as she was about to leave, she was distracted by a folder on her bed. She opened it, startled to find President Lee's personal lab results. As she was studying them, she felt him wrap his arms around her, pressing a kiss onto her cheek before he spoke.
"I wanted to give you certainty," he said, and Mina felt her chest burn with the misunderstanding. That was not what she meant, and while it did not hurt, she wanted to be sure that the man's heart belonged to her before she took a step in a direction from which there was no return. She had seen far too many women in Free who agreed to a loveless marriage only to be abandoned by the men they chose.
"President Lee I-"
"Shh," the man interjected. "I just wanted you to know that it is safe to be with me."

Mina's entire day at work was spent in confusion, President Lee had misunderstood her request for 'certainty,' she was not bold enough to tell him what she meant, and she was almost positive that he expected her to give in to him when she returned to his home. His good faith measure did help to relieve her in a way, but she was not sure how she was going to tell him what she meant. The truth was that she would not give him that freedom until she was sure within herself that their relationship was real.
Unsure where the day went, Mina started to call James, but the clamoring of her coworkers distracted her. She moved in the direction of where some people had gathered, and shock overtook her when she saw President Lee. He beckoned to her, and she went to him, unable to control the blush that developed on her face.
"Mina," the lead actress called out, making the woman turn in confusion. She was behaving more friendly than usual, and Mina found it odd. "Oh, hello," the woman said, extending her hand to President Lee, which made Mina uncomfortable. She now knew why the woman had called her name in such a friendly tone. President Lee introduced himself, and the actress seductively bit her lip. "Is he your boyfriend?" the woman asked, and Mina went rigid. She was not sure what president Lee was to her and because she did not want to assume or ruin the man's chances at dating the beautiful actress, Mina shook her head in the negative.
"I work for him," Mina replied. Ian's heart had been thumping as he waited to hear her response, but he found himself disappointed.
"I'll be waiting in the car," he said angrily.
