Ungrateful

Alexander scowled at Red's reaction when she saw his brother. They were kissing each other's cheeks, hugging and spinning around and her hand was clutching his brother's arm so tight any minute by now they might fall off.

So they knew each other, so what? It didn't take a genius to know their 'Teacher-Student Relationship' isn't normal.

This. Wasn't. Normal. At. ALL.

Seemed like they have a special type of relationship. Is Red her girlfriend? Isn't that forbidden?

Andre isn't the type to act all buddy-buddy with a student. Especially, a FEMALE student. Isn't that against the law? Red was a minor and his brother was a grown man, a twenty-eight-year-old grown professor, he might add.

And what is this... coincidence? It's a small world. Alexander never thought Andre was the judge of that Henna Ink Contest which was the only reason why he was here in the first place. Never in a million years would he had thought that his brother Andre is her art professor.

Alexander was so lucky.

More and more blackmail ideas popped on his head and the corner of his mouth turned upward.

Alexander smothered his grin so that Red wouldn't suspect a thing.

"I didn't know you knew my younger brother, Cat," Andre whispered beside her as he settled on his seat.

Alexander's eyes zeroed on Andre's arm resting behind Red's head. This wasn't natural. Clenching his fists, he stopped the urge from literally tearing the two of them apart.

"Huh? Brother who?" Red blinked, confused.

"Alex, that's who." Andre pointed at him, looking confused as well. "You didn't know each other?"

Red's mouth opened and closed for a minute like a fish out of the water. She must have thought she was in the twilight zone. That twilight-zone look on her is so cute.

Alexander was amazed at her composure when she cleared her throat, made her expression blank, and shrugged as if nothing happened.

Oh, okay." She kept looking at him and his brother as if trying to see some kind of resemblance. "Uh-- I think I should go home so that the two of you could catch---"

"Of course I know her! Her name is Cat but I call her Red. She's a fine art major and she goes to the same school as I. She's always angry but she loves me anyway. Bro, stop making things awkward for our budding relationship." Alexander replied defensively and smirked. "Simple. She's my girlfriend now. So hands off, bro."

Now, it was his brother's turn to raise his eyebrows. "What's wrong with you? You always act cool in front of a lady. Now, you look like an ass---"

I want to change seats." Alexander announced.

Alexander stood up and pulled Andre out of the bench. He gave him the dead eye and Alexander didn't care. Getting him seated on the other side of the bench across the table was hard but he managed. As long as Andre stayed far from Red then everything was fine.

Student-Teacher relationship was not allowed. Alexander just saved his new friend from future heartbreak.

Alexander slid next to Red's seat and snaked an arm possessively around her shoulders. She almost flinched because he caught her off-guard.

What the--- did she think Alexander wanted to hit her or something?

"Uh, Alex? Your brother's name is Alex, right, professor?" Red asked.

Why was she asking Andre? Didn't she know his name already when she first saw him and approached first? Isn't that the reason why she picked him?

Alexander was popular. Even more popular than Andre.

Why did she act like she didn't know his name?
