Chapter 4 (The Outside Pt.2)

As the five who wanted to explore around the school in search for this portal, including myself, we prepared to head out while those who stayed behind were preparing to stay back and try their best calling the police or anyone to come for support.

'This is going to be a fun adventure' Alex spoke out loud in a excited manner

"Hahaha, lets just be careful ok, we do not know if there are more goblins out and about like the one inside." I responded. While we walked around school to the front, I saw a tower we had for unknown reasons, but this was good to survey the area around us. "I am going to climb up the tower to look around campus and see if I can find anything."

'Be careful, who knows what the earthquake did to the foundation of the tower' Mr. Hendricks

As we walked closer to the tower, I saw various cracks running all the way to the top of the tower, and it was slowly changing my mind about the idea, but I had no choice. Looking for the portal could take hours we do not have time for. As I opened the door, spiral stairs led all the way to the top of the tower like a lighthouse. As I walked to the top of the tower, I could hear noises of rubble falling to the bottom of the tower, but I paid little attention to it.

I had finally reached the top of the tower, and I as I look through our huge campus, the size of university. I saw various buildings broken down and various goblins out and about killing students and staff. I was angry, I was gripping the metal railing too hard for it to start breaking apart, it had been in a bad condition previously for little pressure to have destroyed it.

As I looked around for minutes, I had finally seen something that was not part of our campus, a 10-foot rectangle shape in the middle of our campus, where students can go do school activities and such. And as I finished surveying, the tower began to make louder noises, I finally panicked and started to run down the stairs. More pieces of the tower began to fall apart. I was sweating from the constant fear of being crushed soo early on in my journey. As I finally exited the tower, and jumped to safety, the tower began to crumble down before me.

"That was close" I spoke while using one of my long sleeves to clear the sweat from my forehead. "I found the portal mentioned by the voice. Its at the Student Activity Zone"

'Great lets start heading that way' Alex

"Before we go, I need to ask again, are you willing to put your life on the line? I saw more goblins that way, and there will be more inside" John

It was silent before Mike spoke up, 'On second thought I do not know if I want to go anymore, I will head back to the others and protect them from stays'

As Mike walked back, Alex whispered 'Pussy, but ahhhh whatever I am still down, how about you Mr. Hendricks and Chris?'

They both nodded yes, and with that we proceeded to make our way through to the Student Activity Zone.
