Chapter 5 (First Team Battle)

The walk would take 10 minutes since the access through the school had been cut off. As we walked around the school, we encountered three goblins with the same appearance as the other one, same rank and equipment.

Everyone was startled, clenching on the pipes they were wielding, and without warning the goblins started moving towards us in a jog pace, before separating themselves slowly.

"Ok everyone prepare yourselves, they are 3, and we are 4. It is going to be difficult, but we can do it, follow my instructions. I will take one, Mr. Hendricks Please handle one as well, as for you Chris and Alex…. I want you to handle the third one. Just dodge if you are not confident in handling them yet."

They all responded 'Roger'

While we were getting ready to fight a voice came to my head, {'Congratulation in receiving passive skill, Rookie Leadership F-'}. I put the thoughts aside as I engaged the fight with the goblin, our swords had clashed against each other.

*rahhhhhh* the goblin let out a screech, I was weak, If I wanted to get stronger, I will have to invest points into the strength stat. As I was thinking about my weakness, I was overtaken, I had fallen back by the goblin's attack. The goblin started smiling, as it could tell that he was stronger than me. But before he could react I had rushed in, and slid down to slice both Achilles tendons.

The goblin had fell down and started screaming in anger *raaaaaah*, before it could struggle to stand up, I had raised my sword from my head and swung it down towards its head. The sword sliced his head almost entirely in half, as I struggled to take it out a notification about killing it and gaining and orb appeared. {You have killed a Goblin F-||You have gained an Orb F-}.

As I finished my battle, I look at the others. Mr. Hendricks had overpowered the goblin he was fighting, and it was laying on the floor dead with no arms attached to its body. As for the goblin against the dynamic duo, Chris, and Alex. They were struggling, until Alex made a move hitting the hand wielding the sword, and Chris finishing off the goblin cutting of its head with the sword the goblin dropped.

We were all exhausted except for Mr. Hendricks, he stood up now wielding the goblins sword that he was able to disarm during the battle and cut of his goblin's arms. I gave the sword of the goblin I killed to Alex, and now we were all finally equipped with a sword.

'That was hard and scary hahaha' Alex

'Hmmmm' Mr. Hendricks

"Alright lets keep moving" John

Before we continued those, who had orbs invested it in our stats. For Chris he put his into Agility, for me and Mr. Hendricks we put it to strength.

As I looked at my stats, all sitting at five, I wondered what the ones with Question marks were. Also what was this class and what was the meaning behind it. As for my new acquired skill, as I thought of it, a description of the skill appeared.

{Rookie Leadership F- (Passive)|| Once engaged in battle with those under your order, they will receive (1+) in strength stat temporary for battle.} As I looked back, perhaps this skill helped them easily overtake the goblins they were going up against. This system is still full of mysteries.
