Half a month passed by in between we had to perform those low level D ranked missions. I don't want to go in detail about these missions but there was something interesting that i would have never thought of.

It is the Cat mission from the canon. That cat must be a ninja cat to survive till then while the wife of the Daimyou is shown to be old in canon. So my theory should be correct that the cat is a ninja cat.

Except that nothing major happened other then getting Himari to get acquainted with Sister Kushina. While our Sensei didn't teach us anything while me and Kyou were getting annoyed at the D ranked missions so we pushed hard and completed normally 2-3 D-ranks daily after the 3rd day.

Time has come for us to upgrade to C rank missions. Reaching the Third training ground. We have set this training ground as our meeting point. I waited for others as i had finished my practice and didn't have anything to do.

Speaking of practice Sensei asked anything about my jutsu and hadn't taught me anything. I heard from Grandpa that he felt my Jutsu interesting so i waited for him to ask. Well whatever its not that i need to learn anything from him currently. I already have my plate full from all the unique sword techniques i had envisioned before.

They came perfectly on time with Sensei following just behind. Saying our Good mornings we headed for the Academy as there is an mission assignment room same as where my genin exams took place. Reaching there we saw the Sensei from academy and Hokage-sama handing the missions to other teams. I didn't know anyone among them so i ignored them as Kyou just looked at them while Himari looked bored as always.

Talking about Himari I don't want to ever get on hher bad side as she can be real violent like 'REALLY' violent. One time on a mission she saw our sensei doing some pervy research like he always but this was her first time and she beat the real crap out of him. Not letting Sensei escape. Although it looked like Sensei didn't even try to defend but really she is definitely a devil when it comes to it. Really do every Nara need to be so weird guys always muttering troublesome with girls being the reincarnation of violence. Well but this was a good lesson as i noted to not get on her bad side just Sister kushina she is the real devil.

While i was musing Hokage-sama went over our mission records which were completed perfectly by us and the request by Jiraiya Sensei request for a C rank mission for us.

After doing this he looked at us to which me and Jiraiya Sensei simply nodded while the other two stood respectively waiting for Hokage to speak.

He asked to Sensei" Do you really think they are ready to take high level tasks."

Sensei replied. " They did complete the quota required for a genin team to become experienced and these brats have pretty good strength. I am also here to look out for them so you don't need to worry."

To which he 'hmmed' while taking a quick glance at me and browsed through the scroll for an appropriate mission for us.

He passed a scroll to Sensei while asking a ninja behind him to do something while we waited Sensei to brief us about the mission.

Sensei looked through the scroll while Grandpa kindly smiled at me.

Sensei finished reading and put the scroll in his pouch and said "We have to protect a merchant named Banto till he reaches the borders near Land of Earth"

While were going over the mission details someone entered the room as we turned to look at an moderately fat man with High class clothes and jewels which screamed wealth all over his body. 'This guy must the one we need to protect' we all thought and scanned him more thoroughly as if to get something out from him.

While we scanned him, He also checked us his guards until the borders. Looking at us he gave a disapproving look, to which i was annoyed while Kyou nearly rushed out as Sensei held him.

After that he turned to face Hokage and asked. " what are you sending Kids to protect me."

To which Hokage replied " They are geniuses handpicked from this years academy each one better then other. And this mission is simply a C-rank mission. There would mostly be bandits, these little guys are enough to take care of them."

Jiraiya Sensei continued " Don't underestimate these guys they are practically little demons and I'm here if any mishap occurs so you can rest assured that you will be safe."

He looked at us and sighed while looking somewhat tense. We nodded and assured him.

While Kyou directly said " Don't worry old guy we will take you to the destination without a single scratch."

He nodded back and we turned to face Hokage-sama as he said " I hope you will complete the mission safely. You can go now. Jiraiya wait a minute"

Jiraiya Sensei said at this time " Meet at the Gates in 2 hours. Get your supplies for atleast a month."

As we were leaving the Room grandpa looked worriedly while nodded still feeling excited of going out of the village for the first time.

After we exited the room Hokage turned to look at Jiraiya and said " This mission may be more then simple he looked for a simple C-rank mission, you must be cautious. I am handing these kids lives in your hands."

Jiraiya looked at him and said" You can rest assured i won't let them even have a scratch. You can wait for our quick return."

"But if you knew this mission is fishy so why did you let these kids have it then." He continued

Hokage-sama looked thoughtful as he said " Yun Rei that child is getting more and more arrogant although he talks about peace as his goals but he still doen't understand it as well as he underestimates the cruelty of the real ninja world. I hope this mission can awaken his eyes to reality."

To which Jiraiya Sensei also nodded while saying goodbye and headed out.

After 2 hours we all met at the gate no one was late. We all carried bags filled with necessities as we talked to each other while i talked more then normal because of the excitement while they were surprised but continued to talk.

Jiraiya sensei walked Banto( I will call the merchant by name from hear onwards.) towards his carriage. As we looked at his surroundings to look for the goods as he is an merchant so he should have, but we didn't find any confused Kyou asked. " Where are the goods old guy?" while we also looked at him curiously.

He replied with a chuckle " The goods are already delivered which is why this mission is C-rank do you guys really think i would ask for little brats for delivering any important stuff."

Hearing his we got irritated and gave him an annoyed look at this time Sensei sorted the tense situation and said. " Are guys ready." To which we 'Hmmed'.

"Lets go then"
