The test (2)

The test of strength.

He walked forward to the door, wondering what was behind it. On the door there was a hand imprinted on it, Noah stretched out his own hand and put it on the same spot the imprented hand was. A sudden flick of pain on his palm echoed through his body, blood had been sucked out. In an instant he was teleported to somewhere else.

'Teleported to the test of the adventure god'

'Test changed to fit level 14"

He stood in a large room, the walls were made out of flattened stone. There were smal cracks running all over the wall. There was large stone golems all around the room, under him there was a pressure plate. He walked out of the pressure plate to see what would happen.

The stone pressure plate shot upwards and was followed by the sounds of gears. Noah looked around the room and noticed that one of the stone golems had caught life. It had the shape of a human, with red light shining through its eyes. Its body had morphed to clay, and then some of the outside turned into stone plates. Acting as a sort of armour.

It was about three meters tall, and the first thing it did was beeline towards Noah. Noah quickly drew his daggers and held them in front of his face, it didn't look like the golem was about to hug him. The monster showed no signs of stopping, and when it reached Noah it threw a kick.

Noah rolled to his left, his rolling had noticeably gotten smoother since he had used it against the skeletons. The golem quickly followed the kick with a left jab, it's knuckles were made out of stone which made the punch deadly.

Noah rolled backwards making another hit miss, the golem didn't stop throwing punches though, it had no stamina and could endlessly throw punches. Noah did however, he felt himself get slightly worn down, he realised he had to change it, maybe throw in an attack.

He stood up and ran away, he ran slightly quicker than the golem, which made space.

The golem showed no signs of changing its mind, it kept beelining it towards him. Each step made a heavy sound, rock against rock. Noah glanced back at the golem, he couldn't run away from it and had to fight it now or later, he decided, now.

It threw the same kick it had done thrown before, exactly the same. Noah saw right through it, the movements leading up to the kick were blatantly obvious for a person who had fought his entire life. The kick flew by him and he sidestepped it, his chin lightly brushed it, it had been a perfect side step. He chopped his daggers at the stone, it made a little bump.

He felt his hands shake from the rebound, "That won't work" he thought. The stone golem threw a left jab at him, its technique was sloppy, it had no leg work or rotation put into it. However, there was still quite some force behind the punch.

The golems main strengths was it strength and stamina. It also didn't seem very clever from its movements. Knowing this Noah blocked, however he didn't intend on taking its force head on.

Instead he blocked by hitting it, almost like a parry, making it slightly change direction and miss him. He quickly gaped the distance and slashed its clay stomach, hoping to do more damage. There was a large wound on its stomach, the attack was a success. I He tried stabbing again, his danger sense alerted him but it was too late.

He flew into another golem, he spit out blood as he hit it. The golem arm which had been extended returned and hit him hard enough to send him flying. The golem began its sloppy run towards him, he stood still waiting for it to approach him.

It attacked him with the same kick it had done before and he dodged it again. It was a lot smoother this time, which gave him a few crucial extra seconds to attack the golem. He threw an attack toward its clay arm.

The arm got completely chopped off, the second it did, it turned into shattered stone. Noah felt satisfied with himself, but he was quickly brought back. The golem attacked him with its right hand, it was a sloppy attack which Noah could easily dodge. He dodged towards the golem, and after its arm had been fully extended, he attacked. He chopped its right arm off, once again it dried into shattered stone.

Without any arms the Golem stood still, it threw a kick, which Noah could easily dodge. He chopped off its legs which made the Golem lose its balance and fall over. It shrivelled into cracked stone.

At that moment two other golems came to life. They had slightly changed bodies, one of them had sharpened stone arms that looked like swords. , the other one was at least twice the size of the original one.

Noah gulped as they started moving towards him. The building was filled with monuments, and now that he inspected them closely, he noticed that they were actually quite different. Noah had a flash of brilliance. He ran towards the closest statue of a golem and baited the other two golems towards it.

They were brainless and beelined towards him. They both reached him at the same time and threw out an identical kick. Noah rolled under the golems legs, the kicks hit the golem right in the chest which completely shattered it.

He ran towards another statue, it got destroyed, then another and another after that. By the end, there was only one statue left, it was made out of a harder and bluer stone which damaged the golems feet when they tried to kick it. .

Noah had to face the two golems now, he didn't have a plan, but now was better than later. The big golem walked towards him, whilst the smaller one with sword arms ran towards him.

However the bigger golem was quicker than the smaller one because of the giant steps it took. The steps themselves were slow, but each step made a large "boom". Noah knew that a single attack from the bigger one would kill him easily squash him. He dodged the initial slow kick. It left him with roughly 5 second before the other Golem would arrive.

He quickly made his way to its large leg and started chopping into it. He had cut halfway into it before its weight collapsed on itself, when the Golem hit the floor the entire floor shaked like that of a strong earthquake. Noah was lucky it didn't fall on him, he ran away from it.
